    I'm 56 and have not had a regular yoga practice for two decades..until this morning when I followed you through this sequence. I was totally unprepared for the emotional release in the form of quiet tears that began to stream out of my eyes. I think I've been slowly atrophying over the last 7 years or so and have decided to do something about this in the form of a new commitment to the well being of my total constitution and life. Thank you both so much for all that you are doing to inspire and lead others into the unfolding nature of their greater life. May the light and energy of your love continue to be the jewel that it is. X

    I have been doing my exercises with you every day for two months! I have lumbar and thoracic hernias. You helped me a lot. Now I do other types of yoga with you, not just the back ones. My life has changed for the better. The muscles that support the spine have toned, so has the abdomen. I rarely have pain. I climb the mountain with 3 kg after 1 year and 6 months after the road accident (before accident - 15-20kg were în my back), I ride my bike off road again. Slowly, with small steps, I resume some of the activities I adored. I ran every day, now instead of jogging every day, the treatment of my health will be yoga every day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for existing and doing good around you. I recommend it to everyone.

      Hi there 😊. I also have thoracic herniations and was wondering what you meant when you said you were doing your exercises with them every day for two months? I'm also doing their yoga sessions but it sounds like you're in a almost pain free state and would love any help to feel better 🥰

      @@tanisfarr6319 Hi! What I wanted to tell you is that every day, thoroughly, for 3 weeks or even 4 I chose only the videos from boho beautiful dedicated to the back. Then when I saw that I strengthened my muscles I continued to ask the doctor for advice with other videos of her and her husband and I continued day by day. I usually choose to move about 40 minutes in total. I breathe as he says, I am obedient and the results are maximum. I know what terrible pains mean, as I thought I had no chance of living without them.

      What a beautiful story. So similar to my own. And I love to hear it because recovery is not only a beautiful experience for rehabilitation but also a wonderful mirror for others to witness and realize there is hope for a pain free and strong future. This morning I ran 10km, when my lower L5 S1 herniation was at its worst my doctor said I probably could never run again.
      But same for me. Patience. Slow steps of progress. And belief.

      @@bohobeautiful Mark, same to me for running said my dr, it means in an year or two I will run again I think after I read what you said 😍! I have patience, step by step because I really I am glad for all of this thing I can do it again.
      Also it helps a lot to eat healty and to mantain thin. For me it was easy, I eat like that since I was 13. I have been faithful to this style for 26 years.

    Mark, thank you so much for creating this video. I've been suffering from chronic back pain since 1991. I have extreme sciatic pain and sometimes it causes my left leg to completely give out. Especially when I am under stress and I am the caregiver of my 90 year old mother which is beyond words challenging mentally physically and emotionally. Today my leg gave out this morning and I was on the floor for half hour before I can get up and then again today while I was at CVS it gave out again and I was unable to walk. This evening I did your video and weeped through the whole video. Emotions released and the movements eased my pain significantly. Your creation of this video is a true blessing to me. It would be absolutely awesome if you could make more videos for back pain and sciatica issues. Your words, the movements and the choreography of this video were exceptionally outstanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    I am five weeks postpartum with my first child and experiencing quite a bit of lower back and hip pain as my body heals and recovers. I have been doing this video and other gentle Boho Beautiful back yoga videos and they have been incredibly instrumental in my recovery as I connect and give love to my body which carried my baby boy.     I have moderate scoliosis in my neck and back as of a couple of years ago. I was a healthy, active person up until then. I can no longer do intense lifting or running. I’m possibly getting kicked out of the air national guard because I can no longer complete our physical fitness test. I can no longer do my civilian career as a dental hygienist. The only glimmer of hope I have right now is healing through the power of yoga to feel at least a little normal again. I needed this today. 🙏🏽

    Thank you for making a yoga class for people with back issues. I stopped doing yoga when my flattened disks gave me sciatica over a year ago. While I eventually returned to sport, I never returned to yoga as I was too scared of injuring my back. The result is that I was constantly out of balance and lost my flexibility, which I am now paying with through injury. Currently unable to walk, cycle or swim I came back to yoga - looking for something I can do while I recover. I was so thrilled to find this yoga class - it was serendipity. Thank you again.

    I have rather serious spine issues, and this is the best flow ever for sciatica and back pain. Your beautiful, soothing voice also calms my mind and helps release stress, so it also works as a meditation session for me. Perfect video in all respects. Thank you so much, Mark!

    This is the first time that I have worked with Mark and I came to him because of sciatic nerve pain. It was a lovely practice and I feel better after doing the class. I am now off to do meditation with Juliana as I am doing the 14-day meditation classes. Today is Day 14 and I plan on going back to Day 1 tomorrow. I am 64 years old and truly find that Boho Beautiful is the best place for me, even at my age, to go for yoga and meditation classes. Thank you for helping me!

    When I was at my worst with my L5 S1 herniation I was told surgery was imminent & I would probably never run or do anything that puts pressure on the disks again.
    But through careful slow self aware dedicated daily exercises & yoga I made a very long and beautiful climb back onto my feet.
    Insofar I could say that my back and body are in better shape now than they have been almost my entire life.
    So if you are struggling with pain and injury.
    Please remember this... NO MATTER how dark it seems... just focus on the light inside.
    because there is always hope.
    And progress is slow.
    But always worth it.
    No matter how small the steps.

      Mark, I was on the verge of surgery too. Being 37 years old, the doctor said that maybe I could try to get up only with a Cheneaux corset, without surgery. I stayed in it for 3 and a half months, then I started recovering. I honestly tell you, until I did it with you two, for an year, the daily physiotherapy didn't help me much. The pain was terrible. After 30 minutes of standing trying to cook, my back reminded me of the accident every day and I became upset that I was not recovering my life. I love the doctor like because she told me about you two and you now even more. It is important to know the man as perseverance, small steps if respected lead to the desired life.
      We need consistency, to look for information and to use the tools provided to us. Let's all be healthy and make our lives and the lives of those around us more beautiful.

    I'm 50, work in kindergarten, so much lifting and carrying babies, suffering ischiatic, carpal and cubital tunnel sindrom and stiffness and pain in whole body. I started practicing yoga on my physicist advice about ten months ago. I began with 15 min, half an hour and then found your channel. Now I can't imagine starting a day without some of yours classes. An hour past's so quickly. Pain is still there but so much better. I was never so flexible (maybe when I was a lot younger 🤷). Now I'm trying to do some of intermediate because it looks so easy with you two and it makes me feel so great. Thank you for that. I'm not sure if yo have some neck targeting practices. It would be great if you can make some because it is the part that is still in really bad shape. See you tomorrow morning 🌄. An thanks again.

    Every single day, I do a yoga practice of Juliana’s. Just today I encountered Marks practice, and I just want to say oh my god.He has such a powerful voice and he is a great lead, very gentle. I showed your videos and told your journey to my boyfriend, who is moving across the world with me to build a life.When he saw Marks meditation video today, he said this will definitely be us in the future and I responded, that would be amazing

    I'm currently working through a back injury, my second in the past three years unfortunately. The first month post-injury I was too cautious to be doing anything, but as of the past four days I've reintroduced gentle yoga, twice a day, and it is helping so much. Yoga in general and specifically Mark's videos have brought so much to my life, both physically and mentally. Time on my mat followed by a cup of tea is the first place I turn now when I need some serenity. Claiming these healthy coping mechanisms feels so empowering, especially in this new era of reduced autonomy. Your love and light is appreciated now more than ever!

    Mark, this flow combined al my fysio excersizes but with more of a flow. Your voice is so calm to listen to and my visualisation excersizes helps me a lot. I've been having back pain for 7 weeks now and this was my day two of this flow. I hope it will give me the strength to a pain free day!

    Mark, I need this class every day!!! AMAZING back pain release for me🙏I feel like I just got re-stacked. Just PAIN all the time! I had back surgery 12 years ago this November. I’m fused from 4Lto S1 with a titanium cage for stability. They found it was a birth defect spondylolisthesis grade 3/4. Decisions🙄
    I wish I had found yoga before I had surgery. I was a runner too. I don’t do that anymore because of neuropathy in both feet & left leg. I came out of surgery with drop foot & had to learn to walk again. I did. But, finding You & Juliana has saved me in so many ways. 🙏💓🦋My balance is unbelievably better. My left Achilles tendon hurt if touched, but now those heels are getting closer to flat🙏 Back pain is no joke and some people just don’t understand. I really would love to run again but I will be ok walking (maybe skipping 😊) and being on my mat with you both. I can’t say Thank You enough💓Namaste….for all your love & light that you freely give🦋 much love to you 3💓

    I have been doing yoga for 5 years and have never had problems with my back or sciatica. I do sit a lot for work and am starting to have problems on my right side. I feel like I failed myself because my practice should have prevented this problem. Doing this practice with you today has made my back and leg not only start to feel better but I also was able to release my sorrow about my perceived failure to myself . I feel better physically and mentally. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

    Mark! I almost cried with your guidance! Having done years of ballet suddenly 3 disks being compromised I lost so much mobility and range of motion. I’ve always loved Boho Beautiful, and done so many of Julianna’s wonderful yoga and Pilates videos , but even now , having to manage the pain again I found your videos so helpful both physically and emotionally. So thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Especially this video gave me the time and space, to hope again, find patience and comfort while healing from my back pain.

    I never subscribe to channels and never write comments. However, this video has made me do both. I have always loved Juliana's voice and the way she instructs through a yoga / meditation session, I never tought that Mark's tone will make me go in a so mindful state and deep relaxation that would make my tears roll down. I still love Juliana's lessons but now I also love Mark's and I am just keen on having this experience again and again, hopefully most of my days. This practice is not only good for my body but even better for my soul... I specially love all the messages that are beyond the physical movements. Thanks a lot, Namaste!

    I got the Diagnose that my back muscles are to weak and at the same time my back ist to flexible. That leads to pain in my lower spine, because my muscles can’t hold every thing in place. So I need to overstretch it to release the pressure.
    And usually also after a Yogaclass, but not this time. My back feels great! It feels mobilised, warm while there is no pain.
    Thank you for your beautiful Guidance, I’m gonna come back. 🌞

It's a process and sometimes is so difficult to look past your circumstances. I thank you truly for this gift of health I was so lost before I found your channel. When all the therapy wasn't working I knew it was my own mindset and old energies that needed to go.

    I can't wait to do this tomorrow morning.. although I have no back pain at the moment.. I will do it because I want to take care of my back, as I experience problems with back(body in general) very easy (due to my accident injury). And most importantly.. its because Mark.. there's something about your voice and the way you guide us through the practice.. your voice is soooo.. soothing like Juliana's, but in a different way. Maybe you should consider to do guided meditations, I'm suuuure that many would benefit from it. Just something to consider. Biiig hug for 3 of you, from Spain. Namaste you beautiful souls! Irina 💙🙏

    Can’t believe I managed to put both of my palms down in the half pyramid pose 😭😭😭😭😭😭 thank you Mark for your great yoga exercise, my thigh muscle was tight for the past two days but it felt much better after this exercise (apparently it’s not only for back), I enjoy your exercises and I hope to practice more, thank you ♥️

    Thank you thank you thank you!!! last time my back only hurt normally and I thought it is a bit too easy excercise but today with very bad lumbago I really know what your lesson is about!! I sobbed deeply in the middle when I felt a bit release of my pain. Kind regards from Germany

    Absolutely brilliant stretches. Few months ago, I hurt my lower back muscles due to over zealous with weight training. This practice was a saving grace. Keep up the good work. Now, I can keep coming back to these stretches post weight training sessions.

    Janice - these moves released my back, as it has been hurting for a couple of weeks (don't know what I did, again!). I think the exploration moving around was the key - I will do this again tomorrow felt it healing my back.

I was doing all classes regularly for a few years, but because of severe lower back pain I haven’t been able to. Slowly recovering. Hopefully in the future I will be able to again.     Thank you so much Mark, this was just what I needed. I have a displacement in my last vertebrae and every now and then gives me excruciating pain.
