You’re right! Someone that’s never injured their hand or arm would think these are simple. But even small improvements are a big deal!! 🙏

Can a mallet finger injury of the pinky finger heal in 4 weeks.? - my doctor says that its a hairline fracture and will heal in 4 weeks. Because the recommended healing time is 6-8 weeks.

Is there a way to contact you? I’m a musician(drummer) and I’ve had 3 surgeries on my left hand, carpel tunnel release, cyst and bursitis removed from the top of my wrist and I’ve seen several therapist and still no results with my strength and grip being able to hold drumsticks to be able to strike a drum. This is how I make a living and I’m just in need of some serious guidance on what to do to get my strength and grip back to be able to resume doing what I love to do. Please reach out to me..

Hey it may actually be a pinched nerve in your cervical spine (neck). Happened to me several years ago & I couldn’t write, type or hold anything in either hand and was in constant pain. I had a nerve ablation (basically burns the nerve) on L & R cervical spine to the arm/hand nerves 8 years ago & have had no problems since. I’d recommend a nerve test to confirm. An ortho told me it was carpal tunnel but it was not. Sport’s medicine orthos & pain management doctors do ablations (I also had a sciatic nerve ablation 3 years ago but that needs to be done again). Where do you live? I’d also recommend finding a a top notch hand surgeon who has trained at the Curtis National Hand Center - not
all hand surgeons are created equal. Good luck - Neil Peart is my fave - so sad he’s gone.

@@annscotton1254 I had MRI’s done. No pinched nerves n my neck. Only a herniated disc L5 S1. Just had another surgery to removed excessive scar tissue on my tendons.
