    Great video , she’s right about everything she’s saying. The ball is perfect for getting moving and waking up the wrist.

    My cast was removed a week ago. This looks amazing. I did all your shoulder and finger exercises while in the cast. They were invaluable. You're an absolute gem. Thank you so much, from Cape Town, South Africa.

    I love using this ball routine as part of my rehab exercises each day. I fractured my wrist on July 30, cast removed on August 27, and now have a wrist brace and doing wrist exercises 3-5 times per day. My next check is on September 17th. I think orthopedics is going to be very happy with my progress. THANK YOU!❤

    I am recovering from a minimally displaced distal radius fracture that occurred last November. I have been out of a cast since January. The fracture was on my palm side and has healed, however I now have been having pain on the backside of my wrist, more in my lower hand bones. Any ideas or experience with this?

    I love your videos, have watched your elbow videos 100 times each, I had a fracture in my elbow 1 and a half year ago, didn't get better movement with the fysio therapy, then 3 months ago I got a surgery to remove the scared tissue that was limiting my movement, after 3 months I have not recovered my flexion, I am stuck in 110 degrees, I am so sad and desperate 😭😭😭

    This looks fun. I am going through all of your great videos. I came out of my cast into a splint yesterday.I have to keep it on for the next three weeks. I am supposed to do exercises but don’t get on with the written ones from my physiotherapist. So yours is wonderful. I am nearly 79 and have arthritis and ring fingers that don’t bend. I will do as much as is possible. Stupid question but I guess I am supposed to remove the splint whilst doing the exercises then putting it back on?

      Sorry just seeing this! Yes typically the splint is off to do exercises but always check with your doctor! 👍

    I would like to use your beginner wrist therapy. I had surgery w/ plates and screws. While I have to wait for insurance approval. I don't want to leave my wrist idle, I need to prep myself for medical therapy like yours. Thank You for your help in your video. I would love to get links emailed to as suggestions if allowed. I have faith you will prove helpful for me.

    Just started PT and ugh-first session made me lightheaded for some reason, this looks less stressful than the exercises I was given...even though they're, essentially, the exact same concept. Thank you!!! Gonna go get a ball tomorrow! (ugh, m)

      I'm just starting and feel the same way! Lightheaded and a queasy when I see how limited my movement is and my wrist feels like it's stuffed with steel. I found that if I close my eyes during exercise, I do a lot better.

    Is it normal that my hand now feels weaker than when it was in the cast?

    • @VirtualHandCare
      @VirtualHandCare  7 месяцев назад

      Sure! It make sense because the cast was stabilizing your wrist. Now you don't have that cast and are likely trying to use it more. It takes time to build strength!

    Just ran up and bought two kickballs. One for home and one for work. These are great! I use many of your other wrist mobility exercises and even though this is called beginner, I think the variety of these ball moves will make a great supplement as I try to regain my mobility after wrist surgery.
