Honestly, there should be a reward for going in this biome, Like a reason. As a builder I really like the White wood, so it makes sense to have Black wood too. Not only that but there should be something like "ruins" with loot and one idea I had was a glowing mushroom that you can use to make a stew or potion so that when you eat/drink it, You emit light so you can see in dark environments, It's like early game night vision that's not much overpowered than night vision potions themselves. But I still like the idea that it's an adventure worth taking.
It would be nice to have green wood too - we have green wood in nature irl. And the black (or very dark grey) to go with the white. The leaves are disappointing to me. We have more than enough green leaves already, some desaturated light green/gray leaves would be amazing, but they're only like that within the biome. Sad :(
to be honest my one main issue is the very fact that it's purely blocks. Even Copper has uses, but Copper is also very easy to find, and doesn't have a unique biome and mob associated with it. The stew idea would be pretty cool, as it's something unique that isn't broken. Basically, absolutely anything that isn't purely decoration or "spawn a unique mob" would be nice
To be fair the deep dark when it was announced had no real “gameplay purpose” or incentive to go in there and it took a while for swift sneak to be part of it. I don’t know about y’all though because even if it’s just the wood I’d be ok those new blocks are fantastic.
I feel like to make the Pale Garden more eerie and unique, the trees should be taller, that way getting to the Creaking Heart is harder. Also it looks kinda bright, when I think it should be a littler darker to really feel spooky. The Creaking also feels too weak. I feel like it should do more damage to make the player more scared about the new mob.
@@mr.magicmumbles4039an isekai is when the character dies and is reborn in the game world. In jumanji, they simply are transported to the game world and are given different bodies. No, jumanji isn’t an isekai, and Minecraft is another jumanji rip off
So something that I think could be a cool mechanic for the Creaking, would be that they aren’t affected by potion effects, since they are essentially just a puppet. A second thing that I think would be cool, but wouldn’t really work with the concept that they showed where it has to be between two pale wood logs, is that if a Creaking Heart is placed in a different biome, such as a birch or tiga forest, it would adapt and make itself and the Creaking it controls camouflage to better hide in those biomes. My third and final idea is that when silk touched and then placed down by a player, it wouldn’t attack that specific player, just other hostile mobs and other players. Just a few of my thoughts and suggestions.
Love these ideas! it would be a lot of extra programming and re-skinning, but these ideas build upon the great ideas they’ve already put out in a fun way!
The creaking absolutely needs a practical use if they want people to have a reason to actually go to the pale forest. Having it as a sentry that guards your base at night could definitely accomplish that.
Mob vote=community angry no mob vote=community angry Edit: for context, during the livestream, in chat they were saying that they missed the mob vote, among other things, but everyone wanted the mob vote gone before then!
18:55 the weird non-existent crafting recipe from the trailer actually makes sense now that we have the context EDIT: thanks for all the likes, this is by far my most liked comment on anything
@@Qwertyintent in the trailer it was weird to see the two bucks linked by a chain, because that’s not a real item in the base game. So the fact that Jason Mamoah’s character just used random pieces makes more sense. Because it’s not a designated recipe, it’s just a random thing.
@@Qwertyintentso basically, the pink guy was just thinking "okay, if he can make THAT BLADE EASILY, sure I can do that too" and proceed to fail with his ego
Weeping angel, fnaf security breach endoskeleton, some versions of the boo from Super Mario, same idea. Honestly this whole "minecraft live" isn't actually live anymore, and as much as they swear they listen to community, they really don't recently
My first time watching the Minecraft Live stream. I agree with the guy in live chat who said the trees should be tall and skinny, or at least just tall. Would help put the Creaking Heart out of reach and add a challenge since the Creaking's damage seems to be so low. Add fog and it would actually be creepy. As it stands now it's just a Roofed Forest. I think a mix between tall spruce with the density of the Roofed Forest would be cool. Also, what's the point of using the Creaking for protection? It's a mob that stops when you look at it, seems absolutely useless for a guard to me, unless other mobs don't stop it. And that's not even accounting for the pitiful damage. Assuming it attacks other mobs, and not the player. That's about my thoughts on it.
using multiple creaking could be a way to work around its weakness since a target can only really look in one direction at a time if the creaking surround the target it will be a lot more difficult to handle at least thats what i figure
AGREEEEED The retextured feeling of the tree being the same is so frustrating. ADD MUD FROM MANGROVE FOREST TOO! That'd be perfect for making it feel more nightmarish cause you cant run!
I mean The Creeking is definitely something new and I do like the little horror addition to the game, but pale garden is just a retextured dark oak forest, I was hoping for it being more of, you know, a garden. But we will see where this goes.
The Pale Garden should scare passive/hostile mobs! Like you could see a worry on them if they get close enough. Maybe some mobs would actually run away if they got too close!
they tried doing this for creepers but it meant that every tick that passed the mobs had to 'check' for creepers in their pathfinding code so because they had to constantly check in order to have a reaction it slowed down performance of the game, but to be honest that was years ago I'm sure the resources and optimisation the team have access to could make this possible
@rgill6231 Yeah, they don't need to have all mobs check if there's a creeper nearby. instead, just have the creeper check if there's other mobs nearby, and then trigger the one's nearby to act accordingly. Thay way it's only the creeper doing the checking
@@MyNameIsBhex ticks are the games internal clock that dictate all the game’s systems. Of course you can also dictate when you use checks, all you have to do is count ticks as 20 happen in a second. It is fully within the capabilities of the game.
I would like to mention to EVERYONE, since many people don't know this, this is just the START of 2025's update, the creaking and everything with it will release at the earliest if no changes are made, around October, but more likely, if changes are made, it will release sometime around December or January. After this we will have a whole year of more content to look forward too, this is just a very SMALL part of this coming year's updates.
And while that’s nice that means I have to try to scour videos watch peoples random thoughts on what they think. Mojang should add in rather than get the official word and be hyped for six or so months about what I’m excited for instead I’m not even thrilled. The only thing that they announced were a feature that we were promised years ago and another wood type and a mob that they added just for the sake of adding what’s the point to it
23:29 Maybe in addition to this biome, there could be more flowers like Moonflowers, Lilies, and maybe some more mushroom variants like the Ink Cap and others.

Them showing Villager News in Minecraft Live before talking about the Minecraft Movie and showing everyone what the movie could’ve been is probably one of the most ironic things ever.
Hey Minecraft. I think it would be cooler to add more crooked and irregular trees to the new biome. This would make the biome feel more scarier and new instead of feeling like a dark oak biome.
Making it dense and harder to navigate and find mobs in and also making it most stylistic crooked trees is a challenge as you can't have the trees be too big for the Minecraft world, as it is right now the look of a corrupted oak forest where something is just not right is emphasized and I think thats fine
14:55 yeah, there has never been a large scale live action adaptation of a beloved video game franchise before. Except that one (Detective pikachu), or that one (the sonic movies), or that one (borderlands), or that one (the fnaf movie), or that one (pixels)
or that one (the last of us), or that one (mortal combat), or that one (fallout), or that one (tomb raider), or that one (silent hill), or that one (uncharted), or that one (resident evil) and etc...
to be fair, none of the movies mentioned here had the same amount of 3D animation as what it seems is going into the minecraft movie, technically making it large scale compared to those.
Ur completely right but the issue is is that they are also right. A lot of movies have done animated characters in a live action area, but not many have don’t an animated area with live action characters
i do get what you're saying, but as a huge lego movie nerd, you're wrong. the movies are animated in a program, with animators paying an incredible amount of detail to the pieces. a lot of people incorrectly think the movies are stop motion, but they're not; they're animated just like any cgi film. (if i've misunderstood, my apologies!)
@@traineraude I understood what you're saying. HOWEVER, the reason the lego movie popped off is because they tried to stay in the same style, even if that meant switching to cgi. The minecraft movie however... is a slightly different story
@@traineraude that’s basic knowledge What I’m talking about is the style of animation, as the Lego movies are animated Lego pieces and not a live action in a Lego world
At first I was like why does Jason (Garrett) look like that in a Minecraft movie. But now that they explained why and who the character was in the movie, now it makes sense. And after seeing them talk about the movie the way they did. I’m excited to watch it.
@@Tophat-Turtle Two plants. Moss and moss carpet reskin, and '3D' vines akin to skinny glowberry vines. They did literally no work. A *singular* semi-decent modder could knock this same project out in less than a week. What does that say about a multi-trillion dollar franchise and a multi-billion dollar company?
Well the crafting recipe still makes no sense. The iron ingots shouldn't have been in those places, you can't craft 2 buckets at once and you can't craft a chain between them (unless that votes with the two buckets, but two buckets is already not a recipe)
@ChocyDino the rules of the movie are probably different than the Minecraft rules. If it's not a normal recipe that actually exists it probably just makes something random
“Jack Black is such a huge fan of the game, that’s one of the reasons why we casted him as Steve.” *He literally admitted in an interview about his role as Steve that he knew NOTHING about Minecraft and had to play it just to know the basics. Don’t lie to us!* 💀💀
The Creaking creature should close his eyes when we watch him. And sometimes reverse blink. So we only see his eyes when we just see him, then he close his eyes and if we stare for a little time, we can see him open his eyes quickly then close his eyes.
*I really love what they’ve done here with The Creaking and Pale Garden. I have some critiques though:* 1. The leaves of the tree should stay pale outside the biome. It looks silly with green leaves. 2. The Creaking should have a speed and damage boost to make it scarier. Turning around should be super dangerous. 3. The Creaking should still have a very small chance to spawn in the daytime, because there’s nothing to be scared of if you know it’s safe. *Edit: Here’s some bigger ideas of mine to add on top of this:* 4. Along with the tiny chance of spawning in the day, there should also be more sky coverage. This will be achieved by having a large variation of the tree. The forest will basically have two layers, with the regular small trees on the bottom, and the large trees poking out the top. This will make it darker, and have a more unique and cool aesthetic. 5. They should also add a small garden esc structure that adds a little to the biome. It could be something like a fountain, well, statue, etc. It could even have a special block or item to give you more incentive to explore and maybe even live in the biome. _I doubt most of these will be done, but I think they’re necessary improvements to the idea. Like I really like a horror biome on the surface, but I feel as though it isn’t at its best just yet, and these ideas could fix that._
@@ibooyunda1884 nah bro, I just prefer to be positive when I'm using the internet. I think the movie is gonna be awesome! Sorry that you thought I was trying to make OP rage or whatevs

I think it would add a little more scary and horror vibe if you add thick fog in the biome. This suggestion could be cool, you can right click on the thick fog like the enderdragon's breath and rightckick on the creaker's hearth to once it spawns. It will bring thick fog with itself. Making it hard to spot and the glowing eyes sticking out. I think the idea of the creaker is pretty cool but not finished. The Pale garden fits great with the Creaker but feels also quite empty if its only for the Creaker. Adding something extra to fill the dull could fix it
@@BEANBOYOBEANITH well... It's hard AF now, since you got a different code now or sum. Not sure if they reverted it. And yeah... You got the whole "minecoin" thing going on

Some things are still kinda weird about to me, but I’m honestly much more comfortable about the way it is now that I have those deeper looks. I think it’ll be cool to see. Also, the Creaking, it sorta reminds me of a cross between a Dryad and a Boo. I’ll probably stick to the fringes or build high above it and come down to collect things, but I’ll admit that I am kinda excited for it! Also, Villager #9 totally deserved his fate. You cannot convince me otherwise.

13:44 “Original”
Oh yes an original Jumanji- I mean Minecraft movie
You have clearly not watched Jumanji. It is an Isekai before it is jumanji, unless you want to call Re:Zero a Jumanji. Or Digimon...
@@mr.magicmumbles4039minecraft isekai is the last thing i wanted from the minecraft movie 😭
tron
@@mr.magicmumbles4039 haahahahahh
@@orange_turtle3412That's literally why you can manually spawn the mob in survival. Forgot if it attacks hostile mobs or not.
@@cutestcreeper569 But does it attack the player that placed it? Cause then wouldn’t it be kinda useless in that regard.

Wdym im kinda slow
@@Qwertyintent in the trailer it was weird to see the two bucks linked by a chain, because that’s not a real item in the base game. So the fact that Jason Mamoah’s character just used random pieces makes more sense. Because it’s not a designated recipe, it’s just a random thing.
@@Qwertyintentso basically, the pink guy was just thinking "okay, if he can make THAT BLADE EASILY, sure I can do that too" and proceed to fail with his ego
Yeah, but it's still weird that the random dropping of things (some of which aren't even in the grid) made 2 buckets on a chain
So basically the new mob (the creaking) is a weeping Angel?
Yeah it is :)

Yes but weak
Weeping angel, fnaf security breach endoskeleton, some versions of the boo from Super Mario, same idea. Honestly this whole "minecraft live" isn't actually live anymore, and as much as they swear they listen to community, they really don't recently
@@tobenamed610only if it is night..
I kinda want you guys to update the existing biomes first but this is cool
Wheshw
Whehehwhw
using multiple creaking could be a way to work around its weakness since a target can only really look in one direction at a time if the creaking surround the target it will be a lot more difficult to handle at least thats what i figure
@@StarSilver0222that and don’t check every tick, you can simply create checks every 2-3 ticks. I don’t think that would affect the feel at all.
@@czarsalad101 Thats not how checks or ticks work
@@MyNameIsBhex ticks are the games internal clock that dictate all the game’s systems. Of course you can also dictate when you use checks, all you have to do is count ticks as 20 happen in a second. It is fully within the capabilities of the game.
YAY! Go New Zealand!. Any other place could have been chosen and yet they are doing it where I live, New Zealand!
I would like to mention to EVERYONE, since many people don't know this, this is just the START of 2025's update, the creaking and everything with it will release at the earliest if no changes are made, around October, but more likely, if changes are made, it will release sometime around December or January. After this we will have a whole year of more content to look forward too, this is just a very SMALL part of this coming year's updates.
lol yea true
And while that’s nice that means I have to try to scour videos watch peoples random thoughts on what they think. Mojang should add in rather than get the official word and be hyped for six or so months about what I’m excited for instead I’m not even thrilled. The only thing that they announced were a feature that we were promised years ago and another wood type and a mob that they added just for the sake of adding what’s the point to it
23:29 Maybe in addition to this biome, there could be more flowers like Moonflowers, Lilies, and maybe some more mushroom variants like the Ink Cap and others.

Hey Minecraft. I think it would be cooler to add more crooked and irregular trees to the new biome. This would make the biome feel more scarier and new instead of feeling like a dark oak biome.
Yeah...
they literally just made the upside down in minecraft, Demogorgon and all
Making it dense and harder to navigate and find mobs in and also making it most stylistic crooked trees is a challenge as you can't have the trees be too big for the Minecraft world, as it is right now the look of a corrupted oak forest where something is just not right is emphasized and I think thats fine
And the Creaking's eyes should be dimmer
I like it. Quick, easy, sensible. Win win for everyone.

Super Mario Bros also
Lego movies are Lego movies because they are made of Lego
A Minecraft movie should be a Minecraft movie because it is made of Minecraft
i do get what you're saying, but as a huge lego movie nerd, you're wrong. the movies are animated in a program, with animators paying an incredible amount of detail to the pieces. a lot of people incorrectly think the movies are stop motion, but they're not; they're animated just like any cgi film. (if i've misunderstood, my apologies!)
@@traineraude I understood what you're saying. HOWEVER, the reason the lego movie popped off is because they tried to stay in the same style, even if that meant switching to cgi. The minecraft movie however... is a slightly different story

*I really love what they’ve done here with The Creaking and Pale Garden. I have some critiques though:*
*Edit: Here’s some bigger ideas of mine to add on top of this:*
