If you showed me that build, I would tell you it’s a candy wizard castle or something. The block choices leave a bit to be desired, but the shape of the building itself is good.

The other one would have worked too since the piston being activated would cause a block update so the other piston retracts which would send the redstone signal through and open the door

Grian was referring to the part where the redstone goes down glass blocks, which stops the redstone from travelling. It wouldn't have done anything.
