- Xbox One Controller On Switch THROUGH BLUETOOTH? - TUTORIAL
Do you have a custom firmware Switch? Do you want to use one of the many Bluetooth controllers you've collected over the years, as a gamer?
There's been a few ways to do this with USB adapters, but NOW you can use the Bluetooth built into the Nintendo Switch and all you need is Atmosphere and a small homebrew app on the Nintendo Switch.

@@colerex save up for the 8bitdo if you don’t want to use this method cuz the 8bitdo I’m pretty sure is cheap like idk, maybe around $20 or $8 so use 8bitdo if this method is not for you( sorry if this is a long reply

How invasive is this like compared to jail breaking an iPhone? Will I lose warranty support, I just don’t want to fuck up my switch
Well number 1 if your Switch is unpatched, it's likely passed it's warranty. Number 2, you can revert CFW to stock as it just runs on your micro SD card.
BUT and this is a major BUT, we don't fully know what Nintendo can pick up after a modded device is reverted and sent back in for repairs. If you're smart, your Switch won't be banned. But yeah, it's strongly advised to do this with a Switch you don't care too much for.
Again, you MUST be using an unpatched one that has a specific model number. You can check here: ismyswitchpatched.com/

Hey, I watched your tutorial but it wont connect still. Im using OW 12.0.1 and Atmosphere 1.0.0. Does it not work on Xbox elite controllers?

im using ARCropolis for smash ultimate mods which also had its own custom atmosphere folder. If I were to take the contents of MissionControl's atmoshpere folder and move them to my pre-existing atmosphere folder, do you know if it would cause any problems?
It shouldn't if you're merging the files.

When I extract the folders in your link I get 2 folders atmosphere and config how do you get the .nro folder

Just asking, how likely is it that i get banned for using this in local play?
My switch was banned prior to this, but I also was testing XCI back-ups with SXOS, so if you don't go online with your custom firmware and only using online with the stock firmware, you shouldn't get banned

You could’ve just got an adapter like the magic NS adapter instead of hack in your Nintendo switch the adapters only $20 but if you get the pro version it’s around $30-$40 it’s so much cheaper than hacking the system and getting yourself banned.
Thanks for the feedback. I bought one prior to making this video and I didn't like the adapter as it was too cumbersome. This video was made for people like me who tinker with their tech.

made my switch not boot up twice until i deleted the files got me scared for a sec dont try lol
It works fine. Just make atmosphere is up to date and your homebrew is updated

Considering you need a micro sd card to mod the switch, no.
Mayflash Magic NS might work but beyond that, you’ll need a micro SD card. They’re relatively inexpensive.

According to GIthub: Added the button combos MINUS + DPAD_DOWN and MINUS + DPAD_UP to act as HOME and CAPTURE buttons respectively, to act as a fallback for controllers where these buttons can't be mapped.

It worked just fine when I made the video.
Please don't accuse me of anything, I showed how to connect the controller, on an unpatched Switch on that specific version of firmware and that specific homebrew software version.
Also it's possible your Xbox One controller isn't Bluetooth compatible.

Well you download the files for Mission Control and copy them to your SD card. Then you follow my tutorial

Update to the latest version. It takes some time but I got it working with a fresh version of Mission Control and Atmosphere.

@@J0elPeters I did but the files on github are all updated and some files are not there like the btdb and what setting do i have to access in order for the controller to work? (I have the XBOXONE S Controller so it should work fine) and i have the nintendo folder

do the Xbox series controllers work or the ps5 controller?
As I don't have one, I did some research and they are looking at adding them in the future. But due to using a different Bluetooth standard (LE) support isn't there for Series X.
For ps5, it might be the same as PS4

This is no easy method tf you gotta download sht and even then you take forever to tell us what to do to get it working we don't need the whole demonstration on how to work a Xbox controller on switch it doesn't take a genius to figure that out like damn
