Aww sweet little kid! I can not believe how easy you made this look - now I need to try making it as I love Chevre cheese, always have some in my freezer. Also love learning from another and thank you for showing you also learn from others, sweet voice in the background giving tips and tricks. Pinwheels looked great - looks like Howard enjoyed them too, LOL Great video and cant wait for all the other videos in this wonderful collaboration!!
We make chevre without heating the milk by using freshly strained milk that we just got from the goat! ❤
Aw the baby in the beginning was so cute!!
That is a lot of whey at the end! I didn't know you could put it in your garden!
Thanks for sharing your way to make Chevre cheese and for hosting this wonderful Collab!!
I’m so inspired! I buy sour cream all the time… now I’m going to make it at home! Thanks so much for being apart of this wonderful collaboration on dairy! I hope at least one of your viewers wins at the livestream giveaway on July 5th, 2023 at 6 pm Est on the Inquisitive Farmwife channel. Lots of door prizes and prize giveaway away at random from comments picked from videos in this collaboration. This giveaway is not sponsored by RUclips or Streamyard or any affiliate. Good luck anyone!
Hi LeAnn and Howard!
Awww, Cocoa is adorable.
Cheese making has always been intriguing to me. Your Chèvre turned out beautiful. Always a good skill to know. Howard enjoyed your pinwheel.
This collaboration will be so exciting and I’m hoping to learn new cheeses to make. I may be old, but I try to learn new skills and ways of doing things.
Thank you so very much!!
Have a blessed day!
Sweet little baby. That cheese looks amazing! Bet it would make a delicious cheesecake! Thanks, Leanne. I enjoyed watching you make this. 🥰
Welcome to the world, little kid! I donated my unused double-boiler years ago to make room in the cabinet. Great tip about avoiding introducing bacteria to the culture. Chevre is one of our favorite cheeses for get togethers and special occasions. Thanks for the excellent instructions, and letting us know it can be frozen for the future. Your pinwheel? Yum! Howard is SO funny...awesome video, LeAnne!
AWSOME video!! Thank you!! I have bore goats and all babies are so sweet!! I may just have to get a dairy goat to make this!! I milked cows for years ( lots of them) and when we sold I swore I’d never milk anything again!! Just might have to eat those words!!😉
Thanks Leanne! That does look like regular cream cream….& thanks for the Pinwheel recipe idea…I had forgotten about those. I’ve had them at get togethers & have always enjoyed them.💕
Welcome to the club world little kid. Chèvre is so so goo! Nicely done!
Hi, LeAnne! This is a really good collab. Thanks for putting it together with the Inquisitive Farmwife. I’m learning a lot. One of my favorite things about chèvre is that it doesn’t need to be aged!
Glad it was helpful!
I liked your analogy of adding salt to popcorn! I always enjoy when your mom is helping! Thank you so much!!
I'm so glad!
Sweet baby kid! Excellent intro 🥰
I just came across your event today so I will not get to watch everyone's videos before you end the event, but I am enjoying your participants so far. Thank you for this opportunity to meet y'all.
welcome!
Welcome to world little one. Never made homemade cheese before. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve never considered making homemade cheese. I’m a mild cheese is my favorite cheeses..
Your June colab on dairy is going to be a lot to take in.
I make chevre for our local farmers market and instead of buying a culture I have been making clabber and feeding it like sourdough...it makes beautiful chevre!
Great tutorial!! We have 2 goats we’re milking now so we are looking to learn this soon! Thank you for sharing your links in the description box!! Buying those cultures and cloth to give this a shot!!😊❤
Glad it was helpful!
Oh my gosh! So adorable❤❤ Thank you for this Collab! Learning so much. Goat cheese is my all time favorite. Thank you for showing how to make it.
Love goat cheese! I’m planning to learn cheese making when the garden/ preservation season slows down! Thank so much for sharing the process and that sweet baby 🥰
Cute baby goat! Easy to make the cheese. I look forward to the rest of the collaborators content. Thanks LeAnne,
I don't think I've ever heard you laugh before. It brought me joy and put a smile on my face.
I have been told my laugh is contagious. I’m glad I can make you smile.
Thank you for setting this up!! I love June dairy month, I am in Wisconsin and it is a big deal in our community. we had our parade last weekend!

Wonderful. Thanks for all of your videos
Awesome great video I love everything. The baby goat is so cool. I would like to have a baby goat that does not get any bigger, lol. When we were kids my sister had a billy goat it would charge everything including people, lol. She got into more trouble than I care to count with people & neighbors, lol. God bless you all. Stay well & safe everyone. Thumbs up to your videos.
I agree baby animals shouldn't grow up! Have a great night!

I went to Costa Rica for 3 months MANY years ago and they served fresh, farm Queso Fresco. Since then I have always wanted to learn to make cheese but it seems so difficult. This video makes it seem doable. Thank you so much for this video!!
Sounds great Dawn!
What a precious little baby goat LeAnn..enjoy watching and learning..I never made cheese...I didn't learn that skill from my grandma, but everything else I did...lol 😊❤

What a sweet little baby! Happy Birthday little one. This is quite the process but really nice to see you can do it at home. How nice you have someone to guide you through the process as you are guiding us, as well. Thanks so much for all of this!! Love the pinwheel recipe!
Very interesting!
This reminds me of the quark I make with cows milk. Such a fun video with I presume Mom in the background teaching the next generation.
I love hearing the elders teach you! Thanks for another great video, Leanne! I sure miss my goats, but not that bleat coming from those new babies...LOL It was always in my head, "what do you need" when I heard that bleating.
Cocoa hadn't been fed by his first time mom. She was hungry!
@@MennoniteFarmhouse we were up to 400 boer goats at one time. Imagine trying to figure out which one was bleating
little kid reminds me of my Ezeikel I have. Same color an markings. Thanks for sharing seems pretty easy.
Seems pretty straight forward. I bet even I could make this! I'm going to give it a try. Thank you for your demonstration.
I’m glad it helped!!
Oh my so cute
Thanks for sharing. Came from the dairy challenge
Thanks for coming
Well it looks delicious! I have never had goats milk cheese.
Yep looks like something I could totally screw up but you did a great job 👏
That looks amazing! It does look like my cow milk yogurt. I make yogurt a lot. I have a strainer for my yogurt. I’m not a big fan of anything chèvre. With at said, I’ve never tried fresh.
Thank you for sharing.
I always like watching your videos....have a wonnnnnnnnnnnderful June....MY birthday month last day of spring!!!
What a great opening! I am so looking foward to this collaboration. >Susan
Thank you!
The chevre looks tasty!
Thank you!
My youngest calls pinwheels Norwegian sushi lol
Looks delicious! Very excited for this collaboration as I have 2 jerseys in milk.
I would love to make my own dairy products in the future.
I've made this, but really need to maximize it. We love bagels... would be awesome on them and baguette, too.
It’s great with cowboy candy!!
Good Morning LeAnne. Wow! That baby goat is so cute. I have not ever made cheese. I know my great and grandmother made cheeses. However, I am not sure if my mom did? I learned a lot from them but don’t remember watching them make the cheese. Is there a special kind of cheese cloth to purchase? I ha e gotten some from Walmart and it was small and didn’t last. I use it in makimg jalapeño jelly let it strain. I would love to find a bigger cloth and higher quality. I like how you used the handle to let your cheese strain. I missed where you got the packet from because my new rescue kitty was climbing the curtain. So much talent in our community and I am so impressed. You are amazing I appreciate how you share! That recipe with the roasted peppers, sausage and cheese would be a nice cool meal for the Summer. Do you have a Summer menu on your farm and a Winter menu? We do in the Summer I need cool quick easy healthy meals. Time is something I am very short of. Have a blessed day! Wendy🇺🇸🙏🏻🌎
LeAnne, you are so talented! Is there anything you arent good at?!? I may have to get some goat milk from my friend to try this. Just ordered the buttercloth from your link so im a step in the right direction!
I’m sure I have flaws…. Like making messes! You can use cows milk too!
Hey, LeAnne 💚💗. Ohmygoodness, what a precious little kid❤. I don’t know anyone that has goats, so can’t get any milk 😢. One of my sons has sheep 🐑, amongst other things. Never had sheep cheese 😂. But, I love goat cheese ❤. This was very interesting! Have a wonderful, blessed weekend, sweet friend 😘🤗🙏🏻✝️
I just found out from this colloration that you can buy powdered Goat Milk... Who knew???
@@MennoniteFarmhouse wow!!! I need to watch this collab!
I wish I was brave enough to do this!!
I love chèvre! Thank you for doing this video and collaboration! Goat milk is not readily available in my part of Chile. I wonder if I should add a couple of milk goats to the farm.
This comment made doing this video and collaboration all worth while! Thank you!
I wish I grew up on a farm!!!
Thank you for this video! We have goats and I think I will finally try to make cheese.
Yay!
I love your husband as the taste tester, mine plays the same role.
Thank you!
Love that little one.
This looks great. I have never had Chevre before. I didnt even know how to pronounce it 😅. Now I do, and I am going to try to make it. Thanks for this video.
I might have said it a few times wrong myself....unsupervised!
I made chevre today. It is one of my family's favorite cheeses. We eat savory or sweet. I have made Chevre cheesecake. Yummy! :)
Oh do you have a recipe for the cheesecake that you can email me?? please!!
Cute kidd 😍 Never had this cheese before. It's kind of hard to hear though.
This was such a great video. I don't have a way to get goat's milk, but would love to make some.
I found out you can buy powdered Goats milk from doing this collaboration.
::: holds out a bagle as well ::: please and thank you ::: drools ::
Come on over!
Wow, this looks easy. With the price of cheese what it is now, I am going to try this.
I’ve never had goat cheese sounds interesting.
I don't have goats so I probably won't be able to make the chevre. But I can make the pinwheels. Thanks
Adorable kid. Looks so easy. May have to hunt up goat milk to buy.
Very interesting. Thank you so much for taking the time to do that. Do you raise goats?
My Mothernlaw does.
❤Question, is there a difference between a meat thermometer and a cheese thermometer? Thank you for the video!😊
Elise, a cheese thermometer has a longer stem about a foot long. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
What a cute kid! I can't wait to try making Chevre, but it will have to be with cow's milk because I don't have access to goat's milk.
You can do it!
