It looked like a TORCH WAS BURNING on it but I BLEW the candles all out !!! We ate it all up !!! STILL drooling about your Lemon Meringue pie there am going to have make it for myself now !!! This is my husband’s favorite pie. You always explain things so thoroughly and I really appreciate that. I think you knocked it out of the park on this pie! It’s absolutely beautiful and I bet it’s delicious. You just can’t get a better compliment than that from your husband. Looks like he really enjoyed it.

I have to tell you something. In an age where a considerable amount of people do not know how to cook, or buy the bagged meals in the freezer section and either add the precooked frozen meats you can get or throw in a few deboned chicken breasts, it does my heart good to see young people actually baking from scratch. You go girl!! I just found your channel and I think you are doing a fantastic job!!

True story… years ago when my girls were small, I made a Lemon Pie from scratch… it was later in the evening so I put the Pie in the fridge to rest… WELL… what a SURPRISE greeted me in the morning… my pie had magically disappeared… yup…. Apparently my lemons were so tart and strong that it ATE the crust…. GONE… everything dissolved 😮…. Imagine the disappointment when my sweet girls (who had waited all night to taste mom’s homemade lemon pie) realized there was no tummy pie for them…. I’ve NEVER lived that down and they’re now 31 & 27… 😅
My favorites are apple, cherry, peach, I really like rhubarb and strawberry but no one will make it and I am disabled and can't do it myself. But lemon meringue is the perfect piie - contains carbs, protein, fats, AND is delicious! Key lime also! And I know we are.exactly on pie day as I write - 3/14!!!

Want to hear something my Mom would say when she dropped something on the floor? “I need the exercise” She was thin and worked hard . I don’t think she needed that exercise. (Just something she heard somewhere, I guess) She loved to bake and was a good baker. By the way Lemon Meringue Pies were her favorite. I like your pie, thanks for telling us how to make one success pie. I like your idea of putting down a paper to catch the lemon pieces that may fall out of your bowl to catch the zest. I’ll remember that. Thanks. For telling us to connect the pie crust to keep it from shrinking away from the crust area. Good idea about cutting 3 pieces so the 1st slice comes out good!
