I love learning to make things from scratch. They usually taste better than store bought and you know exactly what is in it. Also, I live an hour from the nearest grocery store so I can’t just run out to pick up something for a recipe. I don’t use condensed milk a lot but I’m glad to have it in my recipe book. I hear it’s good in coffee, so I might try it.

My entire life I thought that there were many more ingredients in Condensed Milk... what a shocker.
Me too!! Can’t believe I have paid so much for something so easy to make ❤.. definitely need to make sure to have the hour or so free… but come the holidays again, this would be great to make in larger batches for all the goodies
Now that is a saver I have never thought that this sweetened condensed milk would be so easy and I have wanted to make something that called for it and didn’t have it now I can make it instead of running to the store and it’s much higher

Hello. It is lovely to visit your channel. I NEVER knew that I could make my own condensed milk, but it makes sense. Condensed milk is so creamy and delicious. I love this recipe! But please wipe your stove down better! It really shows up badly in the videos. I too have a flat top black ceramic top & I know what a pain they can be! ❤
@@lisaedgington3919 what do you suggest I use because I have tried everything expect buying a new top. I cook all my meals on it. I also have scratch it from wiping it down so much. This comment bothers me because I’m so aware of it.

Im so happy to see this recipe. As someone that buys it from the store already in a can, I use condensed milk to make my coffee creamer and I will for sure be making my own now! Thank you so much. Dairy items are 1 thing we have to buy from the store but with this collab covering everything dairy, Im getting excited about making my own dairy items. Nice collab topic! I love making things from scratch for those times when I'm out while working up a recipe. Thanks for letting us know this can be frozen too. I hope one of the collaborators talks about which dairy products freeze well. I tried freezing light cream and it broke or whatever so not too appatizing for my coffee. I need dairy that I can freeze since I go to the store so little.

No it can not be canned safety.
From the Mrs- wow what a gr8 idea. I’ll have to do some research if I can substitute cane sugar with something like Monkfruit sweetener so mom (low sugar diet) can benefit!
