I tried this recipe last weekend and hand kneaded until the gluten developed (~3-5 minutes - maybe on the 1st rise, ~2 minutes - maybe on the 2nd rise). The soft inner texture and hint of sweet was delicious. I added dill week and garlic into the dry ingredients and they mellowed out during the bake. Thank you for sharing!

I didn’t use the Bosch because I don’t want people to think they need that mixer to make one loaf of bread that they might not be able to afford. I over analyze things too much when I’m filming.

I just plain plastic bags from the bulk food store to keep my bread in... it keeps at max 6 days. It will dry out in the refrigerator but you can bag it up and store in freezer for two months!

I have another recipe for bread that I use for daily use that only calls for a tablespoon that I love.

I use a cloth bread bag. I also make that first cut a bit away from the end and push the cut edges together, it definitely stay soft longer that way.
I let it cool completely, slice it all at once, then put it in a large plastic bag and put it in the freezer. Just take out a slice or two as needed.
