    is this the recipe that wallmart sells in their delis? I rarely eat someone else's potato salad but the Amish potato salad they sell here is so good!

    This looks delicious. I want to try it soon. As for the vegetable peeler, I never even saw one till I was a grown man. I bought my first one at the Ames Dept Store. They have been out of business for nearly 40 years, lol. Thumbs up thanks for sharing. Stay well & safe everyone.

    I tried you recipe and it was awesome! I cooked the salad dressing according to your recipe and added the mayo, so very nice! It reminds me of what my mother made. I never paid attention to how my mother made it, but possibly she did it much ... your way. Thank you for your videos as I have watched a few of them. Really love your cooking!!!

    Leeann, I love potatoe salad. My husband and I would go to Sugar Creek at least once a month. Our favorite was their potato salad and the Amish cole slaw. Would love for you to do this recipe. Thank you for the recipe and God bless.

    Howard and you are funny…..you both bring joy and make me laugh. I’ve never had a cooked dressing on my potato salad. I’m going to try it. Is it the farm fresh eggs that make the dressing so yellow….or just that teaspoon of mustard? Oils you use the same dressing to do a macaroni salad? Fun video. My mouth was watering. Howard is a husband that enjoys food!!

    This is close to my mom’s except no carrots and add bacon. Also, she sometimes just mixed Mayo and Italian dressing instead of mixing all of the homemade dressing. Shortcut! 😃 Everyone loved her potato salad!

    G'day Leanne.
    The peeler trick, now sure, but the word peeler is a sore point with me right now... My fave peeler of about 20 years went missing and I assume someone mixed it with rubbish for the bin. 😭 It never dulled, rusted etc... Made in Germany if I remember correctly. Anyway... The potato salad looks so good. Have not made one in a while and you have me craving it.
    Winter here, so indoor bbq this weekend I think (everything gets grilled on a super hot rippled skillet). Oh and no "shrimps on the barbie" 🙄

    hi im from germany and i have no clue how i ended up here but your videos are very well made and the recipe is pretty similar to how we do potatoe salad in my family. your whole style is refreshingly different and on point. the "ads" are a bit weird but overall i really enyoed watching this.

    I’m going to try this soon. I’m intrigued by the cooked salad dressing, and the celery seed. A trick I learned from m friend’s mother is to also chop a few green onion and add. Provides good color contrast and crunch. My favorite Pampered Chef items are the stainless steel mixing bowls with lids and silicone non slip bottoms.

    I must admit, I never eat potato salad because the yellow screams mustard at me but seeing how you just made this with very limited mustard makes me want to try this recipe. Thank you for sharing the recipe and all the nice PC kitchen items. Im loving the salad server thingy with the built in ice pack!!     Using the pastry blender to chop up the eggs is such a great idea. This is not like any potato salad I have ever made, it looks delicious. I love using my PC serving pieces with the frozen insert for parties and potlucks.
