B&M Hypers are like the Toyotas of the roller coaster world. Most reliable model there is, more straightforward than most other models, yet still interesting and fun.
Sure, there are others that are probably a bit more thrilling and extreme, but they don't match in reliability or popularity among GP.
I would probably have to agree that it's the best from a "big picture" standpoint. The GP absolutely LOVE these things, and they don't cost a an arm and a leg to construct as well as to maintain.
I would say that if you want to disregard the popularity spectrum, really ANY B&M model is pretty much going to tie, with the exception of maybe the wing coasters, mainly due to their "slow" nature. They all have the same great B&M dependability while also having more to offer for enthusiasts and thrill seekers than the hypers.
What it comes down to is what you want most out of a ride. B&Ms are generally the "safe bet" for parks while Intamin/RMC/Mack are going to be the "wild and extreme" option that may not be *as* reliable but will keep the more seasoned enthusiast excited. If you want "cheap" then you would probably buy a prototype ride or a ride from a less established brand that will be very unlikely to be reliable. *cough cough* Kennywood *cough cough*
I completely agree with all of this!
I agree. My home park (Carowinds) has a hyper and giga and they're both incredible.
Yessss!
Those Intamin blitzes in the thumbnail are looking a bit off don’t ya think? ;p
Interesting…
Weird fr
I'm glad to not only have one of these, but the best one (I've only been on 2) at my home park, Six Flags Over Georgia
that’s so cool!!!
I like super thrilling rides, but I also like not having to worry about a breakdown or a slow moving line when I enter the queue. These aren’t too far off on thrill level compared to Intamin blitz and hybrids, but their reliability makes them a true competitor
I 100% agree and that’s definitely what makes this model the best in my opinion (so far)!
RMC IBOX is laughing in the corner 💀
Understandable!
The hypercoasters usually please the crowd more
Nah SLC’s the KING
Valid
Specifically the rough ones 💀
Totally fair! I took a GP friend on DC Rivals and she still preferred Silver Star. I was excited to try out Shambhala a few weeks ago but I was a little disappointed. However I have recently ridden Batman Gotham City Escape and Zadra, and both are such awesome attractions!
Even though I as an enthusiast prefer the Intamin Blitz or RMC Hybrid, I can totally see how the GP would love the airtime and comfort delivered only by a B&M Hyper!
Oh wow, that’s really interesting!
Don’t get my wrong, I love floater but I’d take RMC Ibox track over this. The violent airtime, first drops, inversions, pacing and transitions are so flawless. B&M hypers are my 2nd fav model
I get that!
"Flight of the himalayan eagle music roller coaster"
I think thats the longest roller coaster name lol
Wouldn’t doubt it, surprisingly, it only took me one take to say it!
Very comfortable seats 😋
Yesssss
I appreciate the video. However, I wish you had visuals of the coasters you were listing off. That would've taken this video from a 5 to a 10. Great research however 👍
Good point, thank you!
I think these are amazing but I’m sorry but I just have to disagree. Intamin blitz’s are just unstoppable and nothing could really ever top them for me
Understandable!
lol no. INTAMIN BLITZ
Maybe!

From a park standpoint they are a headache with all of the downtime they face and the lower capacity. From a guest standpoint they are better because of the more unique ride experience.
Good video, I absolutely love B&M Hypers, unfortunately I've only ridden 2 (Nitro/Shambahla) but they both fit into my top 10 coasters.
Oh wow, awesome! Thank you!!
I thinks we will see more B&M Hypers down the road they are great rides
Agreed!
And yet here goes another accident, this time with banshee at kings island, if your wondering what happened, someone got struck by banshee, got sent to the hospital :/
Looks like banshee won’t be operating for a bit 😬
I heard about that, it’s so tragic and I feel awful for that person and their friends and family, along with the people on that train
RCM I-Box> Intamin prefab>Mack Xtreme Spinning>Arrow 4d>Intamin Blitz> RMC Raptor> B&M Hypers
Understandable!
I can’t picture any B&M hyper being better than Mako
Oh wow!
I have logride now, I must become apart of dababy force :)
Also for operations for giga and hypers, say that to me when I was on fury 325’s breakrun for like 8 minutes 💀
LOL! Oh gosh though, that sounds horrible!
The best coaster model is the RMC hybrid which im taking all of them over any B&M that's not Orion or fury
I get that!
Don't limit the I-box track to a wood structure Storm Chaser and Arie Force one are pretty good too!
When I think of a hyper coaster, I think of B&M they make some of the the best coasters in the world and at they’re Parks. until I ride a Mack hyper(Hypercoaster) nothing “besides RMC” can beat B&M.
“You can never go wrong with a B&M hyper”-Theme park crazy
I have to agree with that!
@@CoasterVerse I’m about to go on hypercoaster soon which will be my first Mack hyper and my first international credit
Intamin blitz is the best model
That’s a close second for me, the reliability of the B&M hyper is outmatched!
immediately loses points for costing on average 10x more than everything i own, have ever owned, and will ever own combined
Understandable!
Well rounded???😂
Yep
Nah the best is obviously the little tikes double down coaster 🙄
Ohhh yeah, I’ve ridden it multiple times and confirm that
This video is the biggest 🧢in the HISTORY of your channel. Prove me wrong... I don't dare you.
I knew this video would be controversial 😅, I’ve found myself having many unforgettable experiences on these rides, and my opinion on this is subject to chance when/if I ride multiple versions of a different coaster model that I enjoy more
@@CoasterVerseit’s hard to argue that the B&M hyper is a flawless model as it has everything a park desires, so from a park management standpoint this is probably the best model in the world ever. Purely for what ride experiences they can offer Intamin Blitzes are better imo tho, far more versatile in every aspect.
Blue hat? What?

You forgot to mention the awesome clamshell restraint system. Much better than the torture devices used by Intamin and others. Millennium Force would be so much better with B&M trains.
I agree, clamshells are awesome!
While I love the clamshell, I think Millennium Force has the superior train. 2 across rows is way better than a middle seat of a 4 across train!
@@timk987 4 across trains like Leviathan, Fury, and Orion would double the capacity with not much change to the ride experience. The seats are also set quite far apart you aren't bumping shoulders (or even hands) with the next rider.
@@racingphotographer8251 I guess that's where are opinions differ. I absolutely think the number one way to ruin the ride experience of a hyper coaster is to have people on both sides of you. That being said, I generally like B&M hypers, especially the cedar fair ones that have the staggered seats, come to think of it, it's probably why so many people like Diamondback more than Orion at Kings Island.
