Rest In Peace to the boy who lost his life on the Orlando free fall right after this video was posted
That Ride is now iconic but sad about what happen to the boy.
First and foremost the few in these comments are rediculous. Laughing about a 14 year old boy falling to his death and to the girl that is blaming a child. Man you people have lost your minds. I seriously wish nothing this tragic ever happens to a child in your family and then you have to deal with ignorant people like yourselfs. Get a damn life and stop trolling the internet and being despicable human beings...
Furthermore Rest in Paradise to Tyree. Prayers and hugs sent to his family and friends. Such a tragic loss. I am truly sorry for the ignorant people on the internet
@majoi green whats imagram
@@thxundergt cry 😢😢😢
I was always surprised to see the Icon drop tower didn't have a seatbelt backup on the restraint, and now even more so. What an awful thing to have happened.
My guess is they will now
@@highflyer011 couldn't believe this video said the seats tilt 😬 r.i.p to to that young innocent boy .
@@highflyer011 I believe that ride should be torn down. Looking at pictures of the young man who died, seated, ready to go, comparing his restraint to others on the ride..
This was obviously negligence, by both the ride manufacturer and the park. Restraint on the ride is horribly designed. It should have either shoulder restraints which cover the whole torso and lock between the rider's legs, or it should've had a backup seat belt at the waist area.
The operators of the ride claim the light was on, which meant the mechanism was locked and presumably secure. Looking at the photos, anyone can tell that young man wasn't secure.
RIP young man 💔🙏
@Bob Smith yes, I've seen it. Absolutely horrifying.
They say the boy was too heavy for the ride but because it's in america and 50 percent of people are obese and they'd get less money
The ride that's completely human controlled looks incredibly dangerous
Yeah doing some thing that high on thin rails would drive me to a breaking point.
@@scruffd0g193 I wouldn't even go on it. It's pretty much an accident waiting to happen. There's really no other way to describe it
There's not a ride completely human controlled in the video.
@@LeGaLiZeDOOMz it kind of is though, it's literally just a bicycle on a track. You could unbuckle your seatbelt and jump off at any moment
@@Inkedalic3 and where's the danger in that? Just don't unbuckle? Is that difficult to resist that urge? I don't understand. And a bycicle is controlled by you. In that ride you only go forward with your feet, nothing else. You are not driving. So...
I was at icon park with my son in October last year. I’m actually really glad he was only 3 at that time, and he can’t ride the really scary ones. I just feel so bad for the child who lost his life there a few months later. It’s so scary how quickly life can end.
Clearly, no one has bothered to read the article about the CAUSE of the freak accident in FL. The ride was safe. The “child” weighed almost 400 pounds!
Never, ever should have gotten on it in the first place.
It’s sad, and unfortunate. But there’s Plenty of blame to go around. And a big share goes squarely on parents that allow their children to get that fat.
yes tf they can there are weight limits @@Faith.liv3say
@TheOfficelWillowRainthat’s exactly what they say, most parks will. And it’s good they do that.
Damn your beautiful
I've been to the Stratosphere in Vegas and I can confirm that those three rides are some of most terrifying rides I've ever ridden. X-Scream and Insanity are the two most extreme since they dangle you over the edge about 900 feet from your certain death if something were to go a bit wrong. What makes Insanity worse is that it stops spinning and dangles you at an angle facing slightly face down well over the edge while they load and unload the seats across from you. This torture, which only takes a few minutes, seemingly takes hours while your heart races, your arms turn numb and your sweat drips down from your forehead stinging your eyes because you're too scared to let go of your grip to wipe your brow. ...and then the ride starts to wobble as riders are unloaded and reloaded making it feel like the ride is going to come unhinged and send you down nearly 1000 feet below on your last drop ride of your life.
..Having said that, I ended up loving the rides and rode them all multiple times. A must add-on to your bucket list. ..and make sure to ride X-Scream in the very front!
Oh come on lol I’ve done all of them at The Strat too and they aren’t that bad… 😂
Shocked the free fall attraction didn’t make the cut. That’s been the scariest thing I’ve ever done.
@@popmusiclover1000 😉🤣 They are exhilarating though, especially the first time you ride them. I ended up getting a multi-ride pass and I remember I kept waiting in line for the front seat on X-Scream each time I rode it.
This narrative made me sweat! Lol I can’t imagine bringing myself to ride them!
Great post
Don’t know if you’ve heard this yet (only read the news article this morning, Friday March 25th), but some poor 14 year old boy was just killed on the 430-ft drop tower at Icon Park (your #6) on International Drive in Orlando that , Justifiably, it seems, Freaked you out! Not sure if you might want to record an update to this vlog or not…
I was just ab to comment ab this too
Rip big tick
Yeah it's super freaky that he included that ride days before that accident. @coasterstudios can you edit it maybe?
@@fictionaliza why edit it when the video is talked about the scariest rides he’s been on .. I understand the tragic event that took place there .. but if that’s on his top 10 list of rides that’s he rode why should he have to take it down .. honestly I hope the drop tower opens back up because it was on my bucket list this summer
@@bigbenji1194 I didn't mean take it out, I meant maybe a tribute to the kid who died.
Having ridden X-scream, I would have been extremely surprised if X-Scream had not topped the list. I also rode in the front seat and watching the track disappear beneath me was the most unnerving feeling I have ever experienced.
No, Allah is one and only god, We should Ask Allah about our feelings and fears, And also , We can’t decide that we will be safe or not cuz Allah know everything before it happens

You have got my vote there@brockmackin8!! It was crazy!!! I too did the front row and bar none, I was never so rattled on a ride in my life. One thing I've done twice, first and last lol
As someone who’s been to the strat and is also an adrenaline junkie, here’s what I’ll say:
The drop at the strat is fun, but way to short. Go on it once to say you went on it, but there are definitely better rides out there.
Insanity is super fun, and surprisingly quite peaceful. I went on it with my bff 3 times, and we both loved it. You get a really nice breeze on that one.
X-Scream is very fun, but I’d suggest getting a front seat. I went on it twice - the first time I was in the front, and it was a great experience. I was in the second row on the second time I did it and it was still cool, but definitely a different experience.
But to add two that aren’t on this list, I would add the Hyperion in Energylandia (Poland) and the Slingshot in Coney Island (NY). They might not be in the top 10, but definelty in the top 20 - both are super thrilling and fun.
My local theme park has a slingshot. I've done it once and won't again. Lol. Super fun, but 1 time is enough for me.
hyperion isnt scary at all i went there and it felt pleasant i relaxed myself a lot. there is actually a way scarier roller coaster in the same place as hyperion
Oh yes, energylandia is so underrated
I’m surprised X-Scream was deemed scarier than Insanity. I always thought the sustained hanging over the building is scarier.
i assume its due to the illusion of falling off
100% agree
I did front row on X-scream and did Insanity. I found insanity more terrifying
@@mattqueen4140 yup I thought insanity was worse
Yup, insanity way worse. Especially if you're not sitting in front on x scream
I’ve been on the Orlando Starflyer, Freefall (RIP to Tyree) and The Skycoaster. There used to be one more ride on the Stratosphere (Strat) but it was taken down in 2005. It was a roller coaster that went around the circumference of the top of the building, just under the tower on top of it. I went on that one too. I think it was called High Roller.
One thing you need to learn from that tragedy, if you are told NO, don’t go back and ask to ride it later.
@@WickedlyMe328 I agree. I was lucky enough to get on it before the incident. I would not be surprised if it gets destroyed, or has seatbelts on it and shoulder straps next time it opens. (If it ever does)
@@BladesThomas every other drop tower ride has seatbelt attachments. But this kid was told no about riding earlier that day.
@@BladesThomas I don’t like them personally. I ride them to get the credit if I haven’t rode it
@@WickedlyMe328 Credit? It's a drop tower, they're not coasters
I'm glad you put Wasuzan Highland on the list
I went there a few times growing up and man not only was the stairs to even get up to the Sky Cycle ride insane, once you get on it its a scary as hell rusty track over a massive cliff HAHA.
The other steel coaster that went around the peak was also scary as hell and quite a rough ride despite the track itself being tame.
Just rode giant canyon swing for the first time. Had no idea what I was getting myself into. Rode on the side that flings you off the cliff because I thought it would be less scary but my legs were shaking and I was holding on for dear life. Glad you put it on this list I thought it was just me
Devastated about #6… I pray for his family to have the strength to get through this tragedy 🙏😢😢😢
So glad YOU posted this, someone actually credible. Got tired of seeing scariest rides videos & I was seeing rides like MF & Nitro on them 😭
Me too! And most of the people doing those videos have never ridden them! I've done every single ride on this list and can vouch that they're all pretty freaky, haha!

@@Psyggie why should he??
Great video
The last one honestly looks absolutely insane!
The first, (and scariest ride) I’ve ever been on, was the Fury 325. I know it’s not much compared to everything on this list, but to me, it was terrifying. It has a 325 foot drop, and has the maximum speed of 95 mph.
HOWWWWWW!!!
Mb that actually seems really scary
Worse than millennium??
Ok ik the drop seems intimidating but can we talk abt how it’s literally SO BUTTERY SMOOTH and u get CRAZY amounts of air time throughout the drops!!! SUCH an amazing coaster-
that first drop your not even on the seat for 3 seconds it’s crazy
it took all these years taylor but you finally took a sponsor. not used to seeing it but honestly not that mad about it because if i were you i would’ve had one years ago for extra revenue. good video btw.
the transition into the ad was so smooth
Yes, we all are so proud of you. You have worked so hard and you deserve this!
Yeah we don’t mind
It will be pointless considering RUclips is about to demote content creators, Raped ad revenue.
Yeah and it’s actually a great product I have one myself, it’s the same size as 20w iPhone charger but double the wattage
Starflyers scare the crap out of me. I think it's the size of the chains holding the seats. They look like a child's necklace. Contrast that with the industrial appearing chains on regular spinning swings and it just short circuits my brain. I still do them out of some weird desire for thrills but I'm terrified the entire time. I want to make it to the Stratosphere at some point but I can imagine that'll be an anxiety inducing experience.
I've always considered bungee rides to be the most intense, such as the Slingshot, or bungee jumping by your ankles. For me, the reason is because the g-forces and speeds are so intense compared to coasters. That, and either the sky or the ground is rushing towards you. Even skydiving was peaceful and serene compared to standing on a platform and jumping off with a bungee cord on my ankles.
Compared to skydiving, bungee jumping is much more dangerous and ultimately unsafe - esp considering it can be set up anywhere with rather minimalist equipment.
Rest In Peace to the boy who fell from the Orlando free fall and lost his life, rip 🕊
Rip😢
When I went to Las Vegas I went on all the rides at the stratosphere at 10:00ish at night. I felt like the thrill more terrifying on a night ride. But I absolutely loved it I rode X-Scream 4 times in the front row, and I had never been so terrified in my life.
Was it fun because i want to do them but im scared?
Is that ride in the uk?
@Maya no Las Vegas
Every last one of these gets me pumped up, especially number 8.
it's so funny that all the strat rides made it on here! I've been on all of them, and sure theyre freaky, i screamed everytime that coaster tilted down. i thought insanity was fun as hell, especially at night when you see all the vegas lights spinning. you've done way more crazier things! I'm going bungee jumping for the first time next month and i find that way more insane than the strat! i love the different types of height fears.
Yo Taylor! You should do a documentary on your story! like, tell us on how you got started with all this roller coaster stuff and how you manage with this crazy world and still do what you do.
I agree! I was just thinking it would be nice for him to do vlogs or a second channel about what's happening behind the scenes, on the way to different parks, and what his life is like :)
@@DaveyGoCrazy exactly. That would be really cool
I almost skipped this video until I heard your voice. I recognized it from Theme Park Worldwide at Busch Gardens. This was an intense video, Taylor! My knees were weak as water just watching. 😨😱You are so right: it takes a "special" mind to come up with these thrills. Thank you for sharing this video.
Im glad I did the slingshot in Vegas(not doing that ever again) and I did the free fall. But I did not have the courage to do the insanity nor the x-scream. Just looking at it freaked me out and I backed out of it. Thank you for posting. My palms were sweaty just looking at the rides.
Thats amazing man!!
I got sweaty hands just watching all these video clips. Really admire you for your guts to try out all these scary rides. Kudos!
The way he just casually transitions into an ad. So smooth 😂
In NZ, South Island near Queenstown is a canyon ride a bit like the Terror Dactyl. Except, they put you in a harness and drop you roughly 200 feet straight down before you swing 1/4 mile or so over the canyon. That initial drop is pure free fall...in just a harness! Scared my wife just watching me do it!
Being from southern california, and riding the rides out here, another factor that has always made these rides more intense for me is the fact that there could be an earthquake at any moment.
Thank you for this list, these are true thrill rides! I’ve been on all 3 rides at The Stratosphere, Starflyer, Skycoaster, and Terror-Dactyl. A great list of amazing and thrilling attractions! 👍
Proud to say I’m a coaster enthusiast not a flat ride enthusiast! I went the stratosphere many years ago probably about 16 years ago and absolutely wouldn’t do any rides on top of the Stratosphere!
I just did all the rides at the Strat last month (November 2022). LOVED the big shot for the free-fall experience and how the height messes with your head. Rode it several times. I only rode Insanity once because it spins so fast that I didn't find it enjoyable. I couldn't focus on anything and it triggered some vertigo. The end is really the only part I found somewhat scary when you're left hanging out after it stops spinning to slowly swing you back it. I think it would be a lot scarier and more enjoyable if it rotated slowly. X-Scream was by far my favorite. I sat in the front (arms in the air) and rode it six times. (hardly anyone else was up there that night) It really does mess with your head. You KNOW you aren't going to fall, but the way it's done, you have a hard time overriding that instinct.
surprisingly enough, the high roller can also render that same feeling X-Scream gave you.. the certainty that you can trust it, but the inability to yield to that fact.. one spot on that track where you come up an incline with some decent speed and hit a hard, flat (non-banked) right turn just as you finish the incline.. so the cart wants to keep going straight with it's momentum but the track makes it do a hard right (emphasis on hard as there is a decent physical jolt with the transfer of momentum to the rails).. IDK, maybe it's just me, but I couldn't help think that it's good for 9,999 times.. it's that 10,000th one I don't want to bee on.. I mean OceanGate made it down to the Titanic half a dozen times before it was no longer safe enough..
A team of scientists should study the brains of you adrenaline junkies…. Before, then after, the rides.
Humans are the only animals on earth that like to get scared on purpose! 😯😵💫
The royal rush is one of my favorites, glad you gave it the honorable mention. Hot air balloon freaked me out!
Proud to say I’ve done 3 of these rides on the list! Icon Park is just down the road and I can even see the world’s tallest Skycoaster from my apartment! All 3 of those are absolutely incredible experiences, and I can definitely say the Starflyer and SkyCoaster both made me feel a little nervous. I would love to do the other ones on this list, especially the ones at the Strat
I can see the tallest sky coaster to👍👏
I haven't done any of these.
im rlly sorry to anounce something about icon park but...
@@southseoul8717 lots of prayers
Aged like crap.
I love the Orlando star flyer! I wasn’t scared or freaked out at all! (No butterflies either) it was actually one of the most relaxing things I’ve ever done in my entire life. I did it when nobody was there so I was alone it was me and my nephew but he sat a couple seats behind me, and it was so quiet and so calm.
Yes that ride is quite relaxing
I was on The Big Shot at The Strat a long time ago and loved it despite my increasing fear of heights. I also went on the rooftop rollercoaster (which is, apparently, gone). I think they were just installing (or had just installed) that appalling Insanity ride as I do remember refusing to go on it.
Regarding the rollercoaster, I do remember commenting that I hoped the designer/engineer on the thing got good grades. LOL
Lastly, about The Big Shot, one of the things that makes it so scary is that Las Vegas is on a flat plain with hills in the far distance, so you are just sitting in a chair with your feet dangling at about 900 ft. and then you get shot up to about 1,060 ft in less than a few seconds, dropped and then sent back up before dropping to the end of the ride. Such a great ride and one of my favourites all-time.
These rides are seriously demented! I used to go on any crazy roller coaster, but rides that emphasized height and freefalling scared the hell out of me.
Good vid bruh! Enjoyed the commentary too!
Love the video! I pretty much agree with your list. I did find Falcon's Fury to be a bit scarier than the Orlando Freefall. It may be shorter, but the first time to tilt face down it is insane!
i agree. falcons fury is INSANE
So strange, I hear that all the time but for some reason Falcon's Fury is less scary to me than other drop towers. To me the Larson drop towers are the scariest.
I think we can all agree Orlando free fall is way scarier after what just happened
@@jonothing23 Unreal. It is amazing to me that they made this with over the shoulder restraints with no seatbelt attachment at the bottom and no backup seatbelt either. That is a horrific accident.
@@gametime2473 tilts the seats forward too so this accident was bound to happen I feel
Glad this channel posted this. I was kinda tired of just watching ones with pictures and a person narrating in the background. This is way better
Great video! I used to love coasters and drops when I was under 30 yrs old. Now, watching some of these, my knees got a little weak. Kudos to ANYONE who can ride those on top of the Strat. I couldn't even go up to the very top. Too chicken.
Am i the only one sweating uncontrollably after watching this
My dad and I have done the giant canyon swing, it was terrifying. There is always huge groups of people just watching and daring each other to do it. When you look up at the sky and fall back a little bit you loose a bit of your soul each time 😭
I've been to the Strat Hotel in Las Vegas and rode the Insanity ride, the two other rides mentioned in the video were closed for the day while I was there. Honestly, the Insanity ride lasts only two minutes long and for the first 20 seconds you feel like you're going to plummet to your death but after the initial shock is over it's kinda nice hanging in the air, you get a really good view of the city. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Wish I could have ridden the other rides too.
Ignore the rides, finally someone who makes a sponsor about a charger
I loved the Strat rides when I went, but for me, Insanity just made me sick because of the spinning when I usually don't get sick on spinning rides. I was more nauseous than scared. Xtreme really got me, but all three are insanely worth it.
Damn bro.
You had me with the thrill rides, but killed it with the midstream infomercial.
i love seeing the coaster from my home town in the outro! 💯
Thanks! I've been waiting for this list for a few months ever since you told me in the comments you were going to do it.
X-scream #1 really? Honestly this is the 1st time your #1 ride I didn't even expect to make the list. I was in the front 3 times and found it almost boring. Now as for the Sky Jump........that was next level!!
Only 4 weeks after Vegas I went to Orlando for all the small attractions including the skycoaster in Kissimmee and the Starflyer(before the drop tower). I was on a role. I found the Skyjump the scariest of all, but the skycoaster was more fun. The others all failed in comparison.
It’s been nearly a decade since I went to Vegas and rode the three rides. Insanity was so much fun but X Scream was hands down the winner though. I love how the first row hangs over the edge of the track. Orlando Freefall is addicting. I too love drop towers and shot towers. But Orlando Freefall is undoubtedly the best of the bunch. Starflyer is lots of fun but it does play with my head a little. I still kick my legs and have my arms up but deep in my mind I hear “it’s going to break”
I remember way back when the Big Shot ride was added to the Stratosphere. Did the ride twice. The High Roller, the coaster that went round and round always seemed to have pieces falling off of it. Original owner of the Stratosphere, Bob Stupak, given the nickname Bob Stupid. Haven't been up there in a very long time.
I just did the x scream and the big shot last week and I absolutely loved them both, then did the new York New York coaster later on in the day and loved that too haha
Saw this video yesterday, woke up with the video of the tragic accident at Icon Park. Timing couldn't be worse.
I am not a roller coaster person but came across this video so I decided to watch. I figured that this guy is an expert. My jaw dropped when I saw his choice for number 1. I've actually been on that! It is absolutely terrifying!
Several months late but welcome to the coaster world!
That’s the point isn’t it!? 😆
That Big Shot on the Strat feels like you're being ejected into space, so much fun!
Drop towers always get to me and even make me nauseous thinking about because the only 2 times I’ve rode one, it literally made me feel like I was gonna fly out of it as it was going down
I'm at least happy that he chose a reputable brand for his sponsor. Some common youtuber sponsors, like RayCon, are really not all they're cracked up to be by literally every youtube channel, but Anker is legit; I've seen their products everywhere.
I absolutely loved the Strat rides. The x-scream I was the only one on it the first time I rode it. The ride operator messed with me. He let the ride go longer then normal. He was laughing the whole time. The 2nd time was fun also just a shorter ride. Insanity was so relaxing too me. The bigshot was my favorite. The Orlando starflyer was so awesome. Rode it twice. We are heading to Pigon forge in a couple weeks. So we plan on riding the Mountain Monster. Can't wait
i went to glenwood spings while on a trip to colorado with my family and my sister and i decided to ride the wave swinger there while being completely unaware that you would be hanging off the edge of the mountain, hands down one of the scariest things ive ever done
Great video. Ugh my palms are sweating.
These rides are safe, until they're not. When the metal can't take it, when someone is "too big" or "too small," when something happens on the ride that isn't supposed. I feel we're just playing the odds.
Way way less than you do every time you drive a car
I was just casually riding a ride one day. And this bird done said bish, if u don't get out my damn space. Trying to change my fam w/ the seasons. It's bad enough the clouds get in the way. Then it smacked me. True story. These rides r too high. It's a nope for me.
Mostly too big
Congrats on the sponsor, just make sure you clarify next time that this is sponsored content by outright mentioning it. RUclips can get touchy with child protection if they don't know they're being sold to. Just looking out for you, love the content :)
Yeah, perfect choice for a sponsor, I have an Anker battery and I love it! But like Great American Coasters mentioned, definitely make sure you disclose it at the beginning!
I rode X-Scream at the Stratosphere in the front seat by myself at night in 2017! I think I was the only person on the ride. People watching asked me, "weren't you scared?" I kinda was. The first time I went to the Strat in 2005 I was brave enough to ride Insanity and the Big Shot but too scared to ride the X-Scream! It's definitely freaky. I think it's more intimidating to watch than to ride, but that's me.
Regarding number 3: You said that it's actually more freaky on the side where you're facing the sky rather than the one facing down toward the canyon. I can confirm this is a legit thing. I used to climb radio towers for a living and a few years ago I just quit climbing cellphone towers. The highest tower I climbed was 1,000 feet. On every tower though, getting to the top, I would look up and the butterflies would hit. Looking down never did anything for me. I think it's because when looking down, I can see the ground. It may be far away, but it's clearly there and measurable. Looking up, I see how close I am to the clouds or the cloudless sky, often I was above the lowest layer of cloud. That somehow is way more freaky... 🗼🗼🗼
I went on the Starflyer just a couple hours ago, I found it somewhat relaxing. Looking at the city and pretty lights, at night when everything glows in vibrant and beautiful colors, it was stunningggg💗
I’m from the UK so we’re pretty limited on fear but MAN, steeplechase puts me on edge
Don't know about you guys, but The Big one at Blackpool, UK, to me is the scariest I have been on. I was sat on the right side of the car, nothing but a drop is all I could see. My anxiety was through the roof going up the chain hill. The ride itself was cool, it was just that initial climb.
I love the fact that I've ridden all 3 rides at the Strat. They are the 3 scariest rides I've ever enjoyed. And hell, yes, I'll ride them again the next time I'm in Vegas..
I'm with you on the star flyers. I will ride them everytime but I am always scared. To me insanity is way scarier than xscream...but both made Mr hesitate getting on lol
I was at the Strat a couple mo ths ago and gotta admit I was freaked out just looking at those 3 rides and that jump! No way could I find the courage to try them...and I love thrill rides! Thanks for sharing your awesome pics.
A couple of things I thought I'd mention...that attraction at Old Town in Kissimmee (the one over water)...there's a gator or 2 in there! I visited last year and saw them myself, as I watched people on that drop. The other mention I have is the suspension bridge in Gatlinburg. If you haven't tried it...you should. It's not a ride, but definitely an experience (day or night)!
Taylor, did all 3 on top of the stratosphere and honestly thought it was a cake walk. Probably the reason being is cause only 3 months prior to that I had gone skydiving and right after Cedar point. And the week prior to me being on the strat I went to Magic Mountain. Yes it was still scary. But by the time I got to the strat I felt like I had already concurded everything.
I’ve ridden all 3 rides at the top of the stratosphere. Once. You are absolutely right. They are terrifying and rides don’t scare me. I actually thought I was going to die on X Scream. You’re hanging on the edge and then it lets you go a little more. Like maybe it’s breaking. I’ve never been so terrified. Like you said ..a psychopath designed it!
im so excited to ride this when i go. i went on it once and boy was it fun
I’m surprised falcons fury wasn’t on here but woah these are absolutely terrifying
I remember when I was seven I went to the stratosphere with my family. Only rode one ride at the top and it was the X-scream. I rode it the first time with my dad in the farthest seat. I really enjoyed the ride so I rode it two more times by myself. I remember I did go in the front seat one of those times. I would still do it again if I had the chance 😂
i got an ad for the giant canyon swing while you were talking about it
I did number 4 and number 1, definitely had a moment of thinking the end was at hand. X-scream is nuts, no matter what you know in your mind, when you’re sitting on it you absolutely believe it’s going to slide right off the end.
I don't get scared by roller coasters anymore. Just recently, drop towers stopped giving me butterflies. But those Star Flyers with chains still freak me out. By far, the scariest one I've done is the one at Galveston Pleasure Pier, because of the location at the end of the pier. I had a death grip, and I barely kept myself from freaking out.
I'm suprised the Galvestion Pleasure pier is the 1st star flyer chain ride I've been on and I thought there was worse
How did u get them not to scare you?
@@imjuswatching3983 I've ridden so many roller coasters at this point, that the fear slowly but surely subsides. You get used to it after awhile, but I do wish I could still get scared by them.
I don’t think I’ll ever be comfortable with the idea of riding a star flyer. I just started to appreciate drop towers!
This has not aged well in only 2 days
It did not age horribly only one of the rides did age horribly
I had goosebumps just watching some of these. I was going to jump off the strat but I couldn't step off. Hopefully next summer I will finally be brave enough to do it
The Mine Drop in Glenwood Springs is another I would add. I don’t get spooked easy and this one had my heart racing. Also 3 months after I went on the ride I learned someone (tragic story) died on that ride.
Well..this video came out at a bad time
The scariest ride that I've been on was The Joker at Six Flags Great Adventure. It's a one-and-done for me since I don't ride rides to get scared but to have fun. Most roller coasters don't scare me, but S&S Free Spins do. I just don't enjoy feeling out of control.
I closed my eyes for the entire ride at that one. Even then, the sensation at Joker is very freaky. Before I hopped on, I saw somebody’s phone fall out of their pocket and hit the ground!
Bro it giving chills watching this video even tho I’m not on the rides
The Glenwood Canyon Swing is pretty awesome. I think the view where you are looking down is the scarier of the two.
I have been on insanity, two times in a row. I don’t know if I’m just numb to heights, but for some reason I just wasn’t scared. It was honestly slightly enjoyable. The lap bar felt secure enough. It was a very fun ride.
The worst part is when you’re slowly being rotated out from the building.
But x-scream, that just scares the crap out of me. I couldn’t go on that for a thousand dollars.
6:19 that was a seemless transition
I’ve been to the Glenwood caverns, and the canyon swing was so scary, I didn’t even try it. I did go on the other swing that goes around and around though, and that was my favorite, right next to the alpine coasters.
I just got back from darien lake and i went on the redhawk it was insane such an edrenaline rush but so worth it so much fun

Yeaaah, this did not age well
The scariest ride I've done was a janky mountain coaster in Austria. The thing was going so fast in such shaky rails, I was sure I would fly out every turns

I remember living in Orlando and seeing the Ferris wheel at ICON park even though it was like 15-20 minutes away. I miss Orlando sometimes. But i still go to Orlando every Sunday because of my church
I’ve done all the rides in the strat but have you been to Alton Towers in the UK? I noticed your Wicker Man Tee so I guess you have but the Nemesis roller coaster is amazing! I kept feeling like my legs were going to get chopped off! High recommended if you’re ever in England…..
I went to Glenwood Caverns last year and rode the Giant Canyon Swing (#3) several times because there was no line. (Sometimes the employees wouldn't even make me get off to ride again.) It was so fun! And he's right in the video: I thought sitting on the side that looks straight down the canyon would be scarier, but it was exponentially scarier to be on the side where you see the edge of the cliff coming and then suddenly the ground is gone! It was terrifying, but I would do it again. 😁
And I have been to the top of the Stratosphere in Vegas for the rides. The Big Shot (#7) was so fun! I did it repeatedly until they closed for the night. I wanted to ride Insanity (#4), but it was closed that day. 😟 And I waited in line for the X-Scream (#1), but after watching it for a while, I decided it was too scary for me and left the line. That is the only time in my 38 years that I have chickened out of a ride.
I have been on all of the ones at the Strat, and the Giant Canyon Swing. I think the Haunted Mine Drop at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is freaky because it drops you underground into total darkness. Sadly it had an incident too at the end of last summer and it still sits closed for the investigation. I wonder what’s with so many thrill rides having incidents lately? I wonder if they’re not idiot proofing them enough?
In 2012 We were on the X Scream - your number 1 (the ride which hangs over the Strat in Las Vegas) when there was a power cut! Everyone had to vacate the area - but we were left to wait it out hanging off the building in the car! Eventually the power came back on and we were ‘saved’ 😮
Rode my first coaster ever this week at Epcot, Guardians of the Galaxy. More fun than I ever imagined it would be. With that said I'm not ready for any of these. I'd surely have a cardiac event 😀
Can confirm that Royal Rush is just as good, if not better than Kissimmee Sky Coaster. That view going over the gorge is not only spectacular, but is the closest I've ever felt to flying.
it's definitely on my bucket list!
The view of the gorge in my opinion makes the whole ride worth it, no matter how tall it is or the length of the drop. It takes your breath away if it’s still there.
RIP Tyre Simpson that fell from the Orlando free fall
