Well did you people really think that there existed a roller coaster where 1/3 of the track in a loop was not there? Were you expecting to see the coaster fly through mid-air while still conforming to the curve of the loop and then land perfectly back on the track!
This is probably the best GP video ive seen. All the selections are roller coasters and most of the rides mentioned where world class thrill rides. The same cannot be said for most others though.

I live in NJ and have been to Six Flags: Great Adventure, so I've seen most of these rides and trust me, all the rides look even bigger and more terrifying while your standing in the parking lot. I haven't been on any yet, me and my family have only gone to see the zoo area, but this coming summer we are gonna be riding rides.

Smiler was human error that caused the crash, the coaster actually stopped when it was supposed to do but engineering sent the train off without fully checking the system. Stealth has now has its speed increased to 80mph in 1.8 seconds to stop any rollbacks
X2!! Ha! I rode that crazy ride several years ago & said I'd never ride it again, & I havent!! It was WEIRD to go backwards, while looking up at the sky, & it happened to be raining... this was a fun video to watch!

Oh man, X2 is one of my favorite rides yet. I have fond memories of it, I rode it the day after it was debuted, and it was ridiculous! It smashed all my expectations, it was even better!
I LOVE the X2! Me and the kids go every year. It’s our favorite ride You even go backwards while flipping upside down! But don’t be fooled. 3 other rides at that park are equally exciting.

It was just this last summer that I had ridden my first rollercoaster and now I'm obsessed with them! I love them and I want to ride the scariest ones around the world to build up bravery and guts...unless it's the ones that go backwards...I can't stand those. they don't scare me at all, it's just they make me feel extremely sick and I don't like that.
that last one looks crazy fun. the inversions or whatever they are called, or conversions? just the way it's set up is genius. I especially liked that inversion(upside down but not exactly a loop) that shows first right after the shot of inside the tunnel. 9:42 whole thing looks like a LOT of fun.

Overall, I think this video is pretty good for a GP (which stands for General Public btw) talking about roller coasters. He acknowledges that they are perfectly safe, and even uses some correct roller coaster terminology, AND doesn’t constantly say “the (roller coasters’ name)”. As a roller coaster enthusiast, my standards for the general public are rather low, but this was quite good compared to some… other videos I’ve seen.

i not really a fan of roller coasters myself but seeing Thunder Dolphin in Tokyo Dome City i think was the most insane roller-coaster ever and i throught going through the tops of building was really insane as well.
Its location is a double edged sword. While it's awesome to have a ride like that in the middle of a major city, having part of the layout on the surrounding buildings substantially slows down parts of the ride.
What would have really made this video worth watching, was an actual video taken on the full ride, of each rollercoaster. With no talking. A brief, written explanation, before each video would give you the facts of the ride.
ive been on takabisha, and lemme just say, it was probably the best rollercoaster ive ever went on. its was so fun i wanted to go on it again, but the 4 main rollercoasters in fuji-q, you have to wait over 2 hours to get on it once which is sad
I've been on The Smiler! Last Saturday! The ride is psychological torture! I love the coaster but the queue does everything possible to make you uncomfortable. And with the additional knowledge of the 2015 incident, this ride can really screw with your brain before you've even got onto it! And once you're in, you'll face one corkscrew before even leaving the building to get to the chain lift! 14 inversions and a half-way point vertical chain lift will leave you smiling always!
