That aside, how many times have you enjoyed a game that you initially thought you wouldn't enjoy? Personally... I think I'll check the game out. The boss fights look interesting - and the game has many. (I also have 1000 hours in Monster Hunter World). But I've also heard that the game has little to offer other than solid combat (no blocking or parrying either) and good boss fights. So I'm pretty sure I won't like it as much as I love Stellar Blade (my Goty) or Nioh 2 or Monster Hunter World. (And they all run very well too.) The user score for Wukong on Metacritic is also lower in comparison. But aside from the new Zelda game... there's also not much else on my radar that I would "need" this year.

So DreamcastGuy is wrong?? Because I don't want just bosses. I just finished Sekiro after having it for five years, and although not really open world, I loved being able to farm for skill points in between bosses and stuff. Same goes for any other game I play with a lot of bosses.

There is no excuse not to have a perry mechanic in the game, this type of gameplay style is ment to have that pretty mechanic but for some odd reason they didn't want to add it, but this is jus my personal preference. Ever since I played sekiro & gain the experience of its combat mechanics, the souls games should learned from that or done something that can top that. I heard that it will have four or five different endings, and the final boss fight will be determined based on the number of achievements each person completes (Completing all the achievements of 81 hardships may lead to the best battle). At the same time, different endings will also be triggered, and there will be a lot of new content in the second round of this game, which is worth playing multiple times. As well as understanding different souls equal different power output against different bosses. Certain cells when enhance your strength, better against certain bosses.If you know how to use them in a lot of times it does have to do with element base. They don't enhance their gourd, which has slots to enhance as well. Eventually, when they learn how to do all these factors, they realize you can regain mana and continue your spell strike. Often they won't find the extra souls and bosses that give you different items, including curios and some curios, are hidden within the world, and several coffers were on low ring mobs. Do not neglect the 1N PC that's before the village that leads to the tiger temple. This is the enemy has to fight there and get the item gift to him, so he moves to the cellar and then under the turtle side when you get to that point facing the turtle and the water to the right. But for the shack, you gotta fight him. Return to the tiger seller to get an item from the other guy, then return back to the little dragon in order to complete to get the map to the Painted realm. The Smith inside the painted Rome is very important. Not only because it unlocks certain armor that's only accessible. There orl's turn seeds for additional mega power ups or making potions of higher level. When you fight him in the freedom, you unlock an additional curious lot, and you can do another place as well. You also get his soul and his soul is very important. When it is fully specked up when you transform into him, he does good damage, if you do the combo, right, he can actually do a mass damage against a boss. In addition, loud the transformation to run out shift back just before it does and you get all your mana back Repeating this allows you to do base damage combinations, use spells shift, use them shift back, get more mana, and continue spells allow you to pummel through bosses. Tree skills are important. You wanna add crets and you wanna add? Defense and certain abilities include rising up on your staff and getting that full, because that does a mass mouth damage, you can literally just one shot all the right mobs, and you can do at least between 25 to 30% damage on bosses. With each strike, maintain your manner.That way, it also stem stuns them and allows you to pumble them.
Maybe it's a strong boss rush game, but not having strong level design is a pretty huge negative for this kind of game IMO. Rebirth on hard mode seems way better tbh. You get a whole entire adventure and the brutal and strategic fights.

I started playing 10pm last night till 8am. I'm super impressed! It's so fun, addictive, rewarding and very challenging. It's just so fun, I love the combat , I wish there was a parry / block with his staff.
I don’t think a Pro will hit the same heights based on rumored specs, but the PC version with RT on is transformative. Not sure it would need a Pro patch, it would probably just run more solidly, especially in Balanced Mode which dips hard in fps, but this is def a game that will age well. UE5 in general really seems to be a next gen kind of engine, so we probably won’t see the full feature set taken advantage of on console, and PC, until the PS6 era.
I've heard that chapter 3 has more performance issues on PS5. Have you had a chance to play through later chapters on PS5. Would greatly appreciate your feedback.

The story follows the journey of the monk 玄奘法师 (Master Xuanzang) (aka. 唐三藏 Tang Sanzang) from the Tang Dynasty who is tasked with traveling to India to retrieve sacred Buddhist scriptures.
It was said that Master Xuanzang’s team had to go through 81 challenges during their journey before they could successfully reach the Buddha.
These tribulations are tests of their resolve, faith, and character, designed to purify them and help them achieve spiritual enlightenment.
Also, can we call out any reviewer that call this game a boss rush? From the secrets areas, to the npc sidequests, and side paths you can explore, this game is not a boss rush in the slightest. There just more elite enemies in place of the usual trash mobs, and I am here for it.
Some of the areas are huge also. And stunning with secrets galore.
So DreamcastGuy is wrong?? Because I don't want just bosses. I just finished Sekiro after having it for five years, and although not really open world, I loved being able to farm for skill points in between bosses and stuff. Same goes for any other game I play with a lot of bosses.

This game has five different endings, only one is the true ending. if you learn more about the story, you will feel like you playing a diffrent game, more better.

There is no excuse not to have a perry mechanic in the game, this type of gameplay style is ment to have that pretty mechanic but for some odd reason they didn't want to add it, but this is jus my personal preference. Ever since I played sekiro & gain the experience of its combat mechanics, the souls games should learned from that or done something that can top that. So I'll pass on this & wait for the next improve sekiro

Some of us cant make purchases on a whim when we dont know how the game will turn out from a studio that we know very little of and we have to rely on initial footage/clips and reviews to decide wheter to make a purchase,in hindsight,what you are saying is true but generally its difficult for some of us to just purchase willy nilly,for game reviews I agree,they must play the game for themselves before writing up their reviews.

Perormance mode is the way to play with blur on low , balanced mode is more or less the experience we get in Dragons dogma 2, not good.

On PlayStation it runs good enough. Som fps drop here and there. But not to bad. I have more issues with The camera during some fights. The kamera crashes with The walls.

I tested both p c n p.S five prior to release in the p s five version is just stripped down in many visual factors.Compared to the pc version. The complete playthrough I did on p. C. A lot of people are struggling with the not realizing how to upgrade many aspects of their character, not just armor but they neglect the souls, they get as well, not enhancing them. As well as understanding different souls equal different power output against different bosses. Certain cells when enhance your strength, better against certain bosses.If you know how to use them in a lot of times it does have to do with element base. They don't enhance their gourd, which has slots to enhance as well. Eventually, when they learn how to do all these factors, they realize you can regain mana and continue your spell strike. Often they won't find the extra souls and bosses that give you different items, including curios and some curios, are hidden within the world, and several coffers were on low ring mobs. Do not neglect the 1N PC that's before the village that leads to the tiger temple. This is the enemy has to fight there and get the item gift to him, so he moves to the cellar and then under the turtle side when you get to that point facing the turtle and the water to the right. But for the shack, you gotta fight him. Return to the tiger seller to get an item from the other guy, then return back to the little dragon in order to complete to get the map to the Painted realm. The Smith inside the painted Rome is very important. Not only because it unlocks certain armor that's only accessible. There orl's turn seeds for additional mega power ups or making potions of higher level. When you fight him in the freedom, you unlock an additional curious lot, and you can do another place as well. You also get his soul and his soul is very important. When it is fully specked up when you transform into him, he does good damage, if you do the combo, right, he can actually do a mass damage against a boss. In addition, loud the transformation to run out shift back just before it does and you get all your mana back Repeating this allows you to do base damage combinations, use spells shift, use them shift back, get more mana, and continue spells allow you to pummel through bosses. Tree skills are important. You wanna add crets and you wanna add? Defense and certain abilities include rising up on your staff and getting that full, because that does a mass mouth damage, you can literally just one shot all the right mobs, and you can do at least between 25 to 30% damage on bosses. With each strike, maintain your manner.That way, it also stem stuns them and allows you to pumble them.
Maybe it's a strong boss rush game, but not having strong level design is a pretty huge negative for this kind of game IMO. Rebirth on hard mode seems way better tbh. You get a whole entire adventure and the brutal and strategic fights.

I don’t think a Pro will hit the same heights based on rumored specs, but the PC version with RT on is transformative. Not sure it would need a Pro patch, it would probably just run more solidly, especially in Balanced Mode which dips hard in fps, but this is def a game that will age well. UE5 in general really seems to be a next gen kind of engine, so we probably won’t see the full feature set taken advantage of on console, and PC, until the PS6 era.
I've heard that chapter 3 has more performance issues on PS5. Have you had a chance to play through later chapters on PS5. Would greatly appreciate your feedback.
