About shocks, since you mentioned you do not know much about it, here is a bit of my input: 1. find a shuck that can handle your weight. You are a fit person, so, most shucks can handle your weight. To keep in mind, all shuck manual list pressure setting s used on a MTB, not direct pressure like on a EUC. So, you need to adjust the pressure setting differently, use the manufacture guidance but twist a bit higher. 2. it is said by all MTB high level riders that coil shuck is way better (advanced level) over any fluid and air shucks. So, you can find coil shucks to replace the DNM one is you have some concerns to it. Just remember, there are things to know about when selecting a shuck (length) and a coil shuck (for what weight).
Thank you for the video, you open my eyes to not wanting to accelerate and deaccelerate quickly. I just made peace with running it smooth. I surely would have been headed for a cutout.
I imagine you have the "lift to stop running switch" disabled, because at 7:15 when the trolley handle of the S18 pops up after riding into a bump you can keep riding no problem. I wonder if the "lift to stop running" is not disabled and this happens, will the S18 just cut off power and let you fall? I can't particularly recommend testing this, but it might be worth including in the safety tips as I'm pretty sure it's not mentioned in the manual. Most people seem to just run S18 with "lift to stop running switch" disabled anyway so I haven't heard of this happening, but I have noticed how easy the trolley handle is to move from the bottom position to the carrying position and I would personally be very nervous riding S18 with the "lift to stop running switch" enabled. Also, by default the "lift to stop running switch" is enabled.
@@ZenLee No cancelled my order and ordered the Sherman. I do have the V11 and Msuper pro, MTEN3,Solowheel glide 3. I am very happy with these choices. A wheel for every occasion. Let's see when the Monster Pro hits the market. Inmotions next wheel.😁
Should be getting mine hopefully next week. Was tempted to switch to V11 but decided to stick with S18. I'm sure the V11 is a better overall wheel, but the S18 just seems more unique and exciting to me. Coming from a V10 (1800W 650Wh) it should be an improvement in both range and power. I do plan to keep it limited to 27 mph just to be safe though.
After today's ride I feel the S18 is better for my weight/style than the V11, posting footage soon, most fun I've had offroading. will be on my tik tok and ig first, then yt in few days.

@@enjoimangos that's great too hear, no problems with the stock pads? Did you add any pads to make it more comfortable? I record in 4k 60fps, 16:9 for YT, 9:16 for Tik Tok, 1:1 for IG/FB - not sure if that will solve your issue.
I didnt find the original upper pads to be very comfortable and replaced them with some neoprene foam. I'm currently working on 3d printing some TPU replacements for my usual stance. I do get a little bit of tire rubbing when turning hard right and I broke both clips that hold my pedals up. They sent me replacement pedals, but they gotta fix that stuff.
