Your excellent Veteran Patton reviews helped me to choose the Patton as my first EUC. 7 weeks later, and I now have over 2000 miles on the Patton, and I absolutely love it, and I love EUC riding. I want a secondary wheel because if my Patton broke down, I would become depressed. I am looking at the Immotion Adventure as my 2nd wheel, and I can't wait to see your review of that wheel.
honestly I think it would make more sense for you to look at an 18 inch wheel with larger battery packs like a Sherman S or an EX30, it'll give you more flexibility when it comes to range and the type of rides you can do.
I’m also looking at the Inmotion adventure. It’s just too good to pass up. I can’t wait. I’ve only been riding for a few weeks now. My first wheel is the KingSong 16X
Excellent video and, personally for me, a fair review. I still have and appreciate my old S18 but the S22 misses led me to the Sherman S which seems to be the current gold standard. I don’t see turning back unless Kingsong can pull off a flawless rollout at some point. This isn’t it. Finally, you are so spot on with the need to grow the community. I get so much positive feedback when I ride but that negative 1% can ruin it for all of us. Remember folks, we are the early adopters and, whether we like it or not, are ambassadors of our sport!
right on! just today an old Chinese man spend a good 10 minutes asking a whole lot of questions about my wheel at lunch, he must had been an electrical engineer since the first question he asked was what voltage the wheel was, and he was blown away when I told him 134v!
Great review. Its exactly what I thought the S19 would be the first time I saw it... The wheel made for people who like to stare at their EUC instead of ride it. I hated the S18 because the moronic built in pads... and this time they messed it up even worse.
Nice review! Dude i follow you since the beginning (Z10) but seeing you ride with that speed and gear makes my heart skip a beat because i love these vids and want to see them forever.
Thanks for the great review. Very informative. Thought this might be the upgrade for my Inmotion V11 but maybe I'll pick up an S22 or wait a while instead. I am definitely the target demo: a more casual, utility kind of rider. I use it mostly to replace car miles for food/grocery trips, which makes a good trolly handle design an essential feature. This clearly isn't it. Looks comfy, though.
I was just at Amped Electric Games. I got to try almost every recently released EUC as did my son who was racing and jumping on a borrowed T4. Out of every wheel we tried our favorite was the KS19. To me it was the most comfortable and smooth ride. Besides the Sherman S the suspension was better than everything else I tried too. Both of us thought we'd like the S22 but surprisingly didn't. It felt wide and uncomfortable. Out of all EUCs out now the KS19 is what I want the most and my son the Commander mini because of trails though he still like the KS 19 more. You should actually jump up on both and try them before you decide IMO. Riding one in real life is far different than watching youtube reviews. The handle on the one I rode was different than this one in the video too amd had a Seat attached included which was awesome.
Great review, thanks. I don't know why they just didn't use the screen from the V12, or similar; love that screen. I don't like the side design. I took Wrong Way's advice and moved the top part of my acceleration pads forward, and it changed the way I turn and ride. I can now keep my knee inside, which puts the correct pressure on the part of the foot for the turn. I can now tilt the wheel with my foot pressure, instead of relying solely on lean, and the knee doesn't have to take the pressure. Watch those guys who carve with their knees out; the wheel hardly ever leans. I advise everyone to try it for awhile. Now my acceleration is more balanced and you don't have to do that uncomfortable bent-knee lean-forward into the pads thing, that gets squirelly.
i feel like this wheel is perfect for someone who just wants everything out of the box and doesn’t care about performance that much. a few things are great, a few things suck and that would be fine if it was around 2300-2600usd but i feel 2900usd is too much for a wheel with this many design issues. if they make a good aftermarket trolley handle that doubles as a comfortable seat then i think that value would be a decent bit better
Just a warning to every EX30 user. Story about how my EX30 bricked. So. I heard there is a new official firmware for EX30, with 2 modes to have fun with. Racing and offroad. So i installed official app, then installed this new firmware on my EX30. Now i can jump between 2 modes with a press of a button in the app, great. So i tested it. It was fine. The next day i went to 20km trip with offroad mode. Then i decided to go back with racing mode, just to see the difference. Well i pushed killswitch button on my EX30, put it on a kickstand. Here goes the official begode app. I push the racing mode button...wheel died. I cant turn it on. Nothing works. I tried to remove the batteries, nothing. Replaced them back on...nothing. Wheel does not respond. Thanks, begode.
Love the review. It is from a performance point of view. I think hsiang asking if it’s the perfect commuter, is more to the point than if it is a premium starter. The s19 is too often equated as a beginner or starter wheel because of the 35mph limit, but if you consider it as a commuter than 35 is more than enough. The locked in pads are unknown to me, sure customization would be nice as all legs are different. But not being able to lean forward which is for speed is not the s19’s purpose, nor is the need for bent knees that is the learnt technique for non-suspension wheels. I would guess aftermarket pads will be available especially the one that would close the distance to your toes. The lights are an attractive feature for me, especially on cloudy days or nights. The loud music may be nice if the base really thumps, but i personally would keep it just loud enough for me to hear as i currently enjoy riding or driving with music. The footpads bumping the plastic is a little bit of a design miss i think. My only concern would be bringing 72lbs up two flights of stairs and if i need to bounce it one step at a time if the handle facilitates that. Secondly, if i’m transporting it in my car’s trunk will the s19 bounce around as i’m driving and destroy the plastic sides (maybe a diy stand for laying the s19 down is needed). Lastly, great helmet match to the s19.
Are you referring to the pre suspension generation of wheels? I mean there's nothing wrong with any of them and you can probably get a nice discount on older wheels!
I have the S18 and I love it (I have a 16X and a Begode Master as well). The S18 is my preferred off road wheel but in addition its a comfortable and agile ride on the road. As to the S19, the trolly handle, oh dear 😞 The S19 certainly looks the part and the suspension is still in the loop from what you have said, but that trolly handle is a deal breaker considering how this wheel will be used. Who would think a trolly handle is so important but it is (I have 3D printed substantial handles front and back on my Master).
The trolley handle makes a huge difference! anyone who actually live with an EUC know how annoying it is to have to push a wheel with a bad trolley handle
Nice review as always! Speaking of seated riding. I got the S18 and just bought the mod that uses the sherman seat on the S18. Some have said that seated riding could damage the control board on top of the EUC. Do you think I should be concerned? I weight 78kg.
So I got it as my first and I constantly feel like I’m going to launch off of it. Tried a friends VSherman s and got on and felt stable. Kinda wish I had gotten that instead of the s19
Why don't you people actually get on one and try and see for yourself rather than just going by a youtuber? Some of the issues he mentioned have been addressed already on the model I rode. A seat was attached to the handle and included. Seated riding was fine as was the handle.
Kingsong should’ve just upgraded the s18 instead of launching a new wheel. Of all the new EUCs, this is at the bottom of my list. I just say nope to 100v wheels now. Love ur reviews!
Hi guys, which wheel would you recommend for a daily commute? I’m looking for something not to heavy and not too bulky, something that I could drive daily to work, to meet with my friends, that would fit in gym locker. I live in Europe and most of the time I would be commuting on bicycle paths. Safety and comfort is very important to me. I could drive an EUC already, I have 3 weeks and around 500 kilometers experience . I’m thinking about Inmotion V11 or upcoming Kingsong S16. What do you think?
My friend ,that is just one awkward view from the rear lol. Have you reviewed the s22 updated version,or the updated Abrams on sale for 1800 ? still looking to make that first wheel purchase myself.
I don't find my Master to have shoddy build quality. It's been ridden hard and put away wet (actually, dusty, not wet) and hasn't given me a like of trouble. Sure, the suspension isn't exactly quiet and smooth, but it gets the job done and it can power through almost anything.
I wouldn't say Begode wheel are "shoddy" but poor QC I often mentioned are usually careless things like loose bolt or connection, nothing serious for someone whom check and maintain their own wheel.
Im a sucker for rgb lights. Just bought the s22 pro about a month ago and its got no colored lights. Will be adding some strips but its always better when its part of the model itself.
Serious question…do you trust the chin bar on that helmet to protect your face? I’ve been looking for something not as bulky as a real full face helmet.
This is a nice casual riding wheel for someone upgrading from a non-suspension wheel and doesn’t care about speed or customization but loves lights and sounds. A good noob suspension wheel IMHO. Hard core and experienced riders won’t buy this wheel.
The thing I honestly are curious about is how many EUC riders there are whom fit that description; I want to say that the majority seems to love speed and power, but that may be skewed since the casuals would probably never show up for group rides and so we'll never see them. I guess we'll know if King Song continues to make more wheels like the S19!
@OWGAC whenever I ride my Tesla v2 to the store I do enjoy the fact that it has a speaker. I can do away with the stupid lights but I kinda wished every euc came with speakers lol
@@OWGACI'm a casual rider. Can confirm: I haven't group rode in years. I use my main wheel (V11) almost every day for errands, though. I've been riding since 2018 so have tons of experience. Just prefer a more flickable wheel and have no desire to go much past 25mph.
I personally think the next s16 will have more success, because for near 3k$ there is way better options, or just buy the s22. Newcomers in the hobby will prefer a 2k$ , but quite capable 84v s16
@@OWGACEven most casual riders like me who rides a Master would rather buy a wheel with way more power and speed for the overhead and thus added safety given prices are comparable. This is more important to me than speakers and a light show.
I really find it weird to call all the new suspension wheels 16" wheels when they are 17" to 18" diameter. The Veteran Patton is 17.5" OD with the stock tire, the Extreme Bull Commander mini is 17.7" OD with its stock tire, etc. Is it because of the hub size? The S18 has a 20" OD tire on it so I assume the S19 is the same.
some magnet would have been nice, and some sort of lock when its in the up position, its all things KS had done in the past, not sure how they missed it here.
Sure but you're going to have to stop eventually. Having a wheel unexpectedly cut out on you, even if you're not moving, has the potential to cause injury. Not to mention how dangerous it could be to have it spin up unexpectedly while you're holding it.
This wheel is for an, intelligent, someone who, thru watching MANY videos, wants to buy their first wheel. It does hit premium points for people who have waited for YEARS to take the plunge into EUCs. Would you suggest that someone with $3000 spend their money on a Dualtron?😂
Whats the point KS, the pads are a real issue. That speaker test pretty bad. Poi t the wheel at the camera, that way the wall can't distort the music, choice of music/ noise naff too.
We know there's trouble in paradise when the headline reads incls 'Speaker' in there. Dont speak for anyone but I've always felt my s18 suspension was trash vs T4/ex34 I currently ride. Being a noob then, I didnt know better & accepted it as normal. Glad its improved in this iteration. The immovable stock pads is just beyond dumb. But ya, tis pretty with a light show & voila, it has the best rollin speaker. I'm in for 10...NOT. KS is so out of it. IMO ofcos
Other than the sliders I think it’s a cool casual wheel. Unfortunately, after 1,000 kilometers, my wheels are starting to wear out. No other vehicle uses roller sliders for a reason, lol. During the 2,500km I owned my S18, I never had an issue with the sliders.
Kingsong headquarters: We should design a new wheel, our s22 was a horrible accident and we are hemorrhaging money what do we do? New kingsong CEO: Lets take the worst parts of the s18 and combine them with the worst parts of the s22. We well mask how bad it is with speakers and lights, you know things riders dont care about and not important. Kingsong engineers: Hold my beer. Its a bud light.
I don't get all the hate towards it. It's just a wheel for parties and cafe meetups, for girls and girly-like men to causally chill ride on a straight legs while sipping soy lattes. Not everything has to be a contender to begode or whatever.
For some people Begode is out of the question. They don't even look at Begode when comparing wheels. Some will only consider Begode again if they make zero mistakes for 3 years.
Its hard to pick a new wheel now. Excessive top speed on roads or jumping and maybe a shit load of cutouts? Hmm hard choice. Nobody has yet got a smart bms that prevents the cutout.
Dude, I havent watched your videos for 2 years, now I see you riding with a t-shirt on the street. As someone who crashed with a motorcycle jacket on (after the kingsong euc turned off) and broke my arm, I say that's very idiotic

some magnet would have been nice, and some sort of lock when its in the up position, its all things KS had done in the past, not sure how they missed it here.
How are the AVAS sound effects on it? 🤣
I want one. Where can i buy from acme Anat is price?
Is it possible to keep a low profile on a euc
true but do you really need to look like a rolling rainbow? =)
That terrible trolly handle is a deal breaker for me.
It always surprise me how little thoughts companies put into the trolley handle.
Whats your wrist phone holder?
Throw a velcro on that trolly handle
for nearly $3k I would expect that King Song make it work out of the box!
I’m surprised it can do 35 at 50+ battery. Decent for a chill group ride and off roading. But that price though…😢
I mean the V11 unlcoked can also do 34, if the s19 was like $2300, I think it would made a lot more sense.
@OWGAC doing 34 on the v11 isn't necessarily safe though, there have been reports of cutouts if you go max speed/climb and hit a bump
Good video 👍
A wheel that only gives one stance option. 👎
Cheers
Well V14 is not much more expensive :)
the V14 is $500 more, plus I expect to see the S19 discounted soon so the difference is likely to get bigger still.
kingsong sounded like the top of jumper wheels, now its not at the top but I could be wrong.
the S19 suspension is excellent, better than most begode and almost as good as the suspension from the Sherman S.
S22 Is the jumper wheel, and will be for a while. Extreme could have taken that spot, but they messed up the geometry
Is the S19 better than the InMotion V12 HT?
hard to compare suspension vs no suspension and 16 vs 18 inch wheels
@@OWGAC c'mon maaan. I'm trying to decide on which one to buy. Which one do you prefer riding?
@@firmbodyval4536 Get suspension when you can. Unless you only ride on silk smooth roads. Then it doesn't matter.
Didn't you see in this video that the suspension saved Sean several times from wiping out?
Am I the only one who doesn't like the touch-activated kill switch? It just seems destined to malfunction, whether you're holding it or riding it.
It doesn’t activate while riding.
Sure but you're going to have to stop eventually. Having a wheel unexpectedly cut out on you, even if you're not moving, has the potential to cause injury.
Not to mention how dangerous it could be to have it spin up unexpectedly while you're holding it.
Man, its a wheel with drawer rollers again...and the up panel is a sink for water...
Getting any more v12 pedals in your shop?
Just restocked them today!
@@OWGAC Thanks, just bought a set.
yeah lol, I love speed, also really appreciate common sense get around!
This wheel is for an, intelligent, someone who, thru watching MANY videos, wants to buy their first wheel. It does hit premium points for people who have waited for YEARS to take the plunge into EUCs. Would you suggest that someone with $3000 spend their money on a Dualtron?😂
It is, but I wonder how large of a market that is..
I am so waiting for inmotion adventure!!
what do the speakers sound like
They sounded good actually, I ran a comparison against my cheapo (but good) storm box speaker.
IMO ofcos
If it wasn't for those awful wheel sliders, it could be a real contender.
after this many iteration I expect the slider to work fine with regular maintenance, for a casual rider who never see dirt, it'll probably be okay
Other than the sliders I think it’s a cool casual wheel. Unfortunately, after 1,000 kilometers, my wheels are starting to wear out. No other vehicle uses roller sliders for a reason, lol. During the 2,500km I owned my S18, I never had an issue with the sliders.
DingDong KingSong is so bad I give them away. Ugh…..😂
Kingsong headquarters:
We should design a new wheel, our s22 was a horrible accident and we are hemorrhaging money what do we do?
New kingsong CEO:
Lets take the worst parts of the s18 and combine them with the worst parts of the s22. We well mask how bad it is with speakers and lights, you know things riders dont care about and not important.
Kingsong engineers:
Hold my beer. Its a bud light.
I don't get all the hate towards it. It's just a wheel for parties and cafe meetups, for girls and girly-like men to causally chill ride on a straight legs while sipping soy lattes. Not everything has to be a contender to begode or whatever.
I think the main problem is the price, if it was like $2400 nobody would complain.
@@OWGAC True and true.
⚡🤙🏼👀🤙🏼⚡
another L from kingsong, great suspension but the form factor has no functionality. Would look really cool on a stand though!
There’s no way people will buy S19 over master
For some people Begode is out of the question. They don't even look at Begode when comparing wheels.
Some will only consider Begode again if they make zero mistakes for 3 years.
37+60 miles per hr
Its hard to pick a new wheel now. Excessive top speed on roads or jumping and maybe a shit load of cutouts? Hmm hard choice. Nobody has yet got a smart bms that prevents the cutout.
Smart BMS has nothing to do with overpowering an EUC, I.e., cutout.
unfortunately the basic mechanism behind self balancing means that it is impossible to make a wheel that can't cutout.
U got robbed the Tribit is not 100$
This would be fun at Burning Man (when it isn’t a muddy disaster)
Would not buy from euco.
DIE HARD lol...
Dude, I havent watched your videos for 2 years, now I see you riding with a t-shirt on the street. As someone who crashed with a motorcycle jacket on (after the kingsong euc turned off) and broke my arm, I say that's very idiotic
For 34kg.. Well.. 😐
This is overpriced
S19 is garbage wheel
Weld to together and put a seat in the middle witha handle bar.
