@@Laurentschoice it's certainly not a review, you just presented a product. I didn't learn anything that I couldn't just read (and I already read) on the specs page. You don't even point out that the DIMM.2 slot shares lanes with the gpu slot. You didn't run any performance test, thermals test (chunky heatsinks without fins are good to absorb a heat spike, but once they reach a stable temperature they do very little to cool, so it would be interesting to see if there's any performance drop on the chipset and or/SSDs after prolonged usage). Also the audio DAC is included to increase the perceived value, because even if they sell it for hundreds of dollars it probably cost them less than 5$ to make.
Hmmmm... I guess you missed the thermal testings. In the video and on camera I test the VRM, it's heatsinks, the chipset heatsink, the m.2 SSD heatsinks with thermal gun and share the thermal images. of course no answser, after a year. the lack of that inormation makes this whole video almost pointless and irrelevant. considering that aspect would be a make or break for absolutely everyone and i own the board, was waiting weeks to figure out an aswer on this matter. and now ive 3 m.2s in there with all of them disables except my m_1....and i still dont know. straight BS. dont do a review on a motherboard if you dont know how it works. ive never heard of this problem on other boards so it completel bullshit to spend $800 on it and then only become aware of it after the fact. also my board was refurbished and ended up coming without all the accessories including the dimm.2, so its not like i can just ignore that potential problem and put 2 of my ssds in that because I DONT HAVE IT! this is question is an extremely important one to me.

This is an amazing motherboard. To find a proper case had been a biggest problem for me due E- atx and side power connectors. Cooler master h500m is the one. Temps are outstanding.
it seems the nvme part is not correct. those 2 dimm.2 goes to chipset; the other 3 m.2 on board goes to the cpu. m.2_1 takes 4 lanes from cpu, if m.2_2 and m.2_3 were to be used, the x16 pcie for graphic will be splite into x8 + x4 + x4. refer to the manual and bios.
"2 ssds on the dimm.2 without loss cpu lanes" seems logical. however between cpu and chipset is x4 lanes i believe, this might be the limit for the dimm.2? I'm running raid0 from 2 ssd on dimm.2, see no speed advantages.@@kitewinds663

@@OGHawkeye You need to set it up in the BIOS. Not getting the dimm.2 is a real issue, because it uses different PCIe lanes than the PCIe slots. Basically you can have 1 NVMe in the m_1 (under the screen), and you can have 1 NVMe in the DIMM.2 for "free", but if you put 2 in the DIMM.2 or you put 1 in the m_2 or m_3 and the first PCIe goes down to 8x and the second PCIe to 4x or 0x if you install in the m_2 AND m_3.
