I'd like to see a follow up vid pushing some of the practical things that most of us would do with this board, like populating all five m.2 drive ports, and seeing how the board handled the pcie lanes. Would any of those m.2 drives be dropped down to 3.0 speeds, or will they all be able to run at 4.0 speeds? Will the first pcie slot with the gpu drop to 8x, or will it be able to stay at 16x with the second one disabled??? I've heard that if you use all five m.2 ports (Dimm.2 included) that you lose two sata ports. Is that the case or not??? Answering questions like these in a follow up vid would be a very practical thing to do, because it's clear that X570 is NOT going anywhere any time soon. There will be more to come for this platform.
theres a video with an old guy saying that your GPU power lanes will be reduced to 8x and not 16x if you use any of the m.2 ssd slots. i just want my stuff to run correctly. am i safe to use all 3 of my m.2 ssd's without using the DIMM.2 slot on the top? or can i only use one of them. i just want my gpu to get and use the power it was meant to and utilize its 16 power lanes! plz help!
Can I plug my USB cables to USB 3.2 gen 1 that are on the sides, instead of plugging it to usb 2.0 on the bottom? (USB cables that comes from Corsair fan rgb hub) The reason I can’t have the USB cables on the bottom of the mobo is cause it’s blocking my 2nd 3090 from going into the mobo.
I know it's been a year and you're probably never going to see this but I just wanted to know is it possible to use all five m.2 slots and run it all but one through the chipset even if I have to lose SATA connectors because I don't want to lose GPU express lanes?

Hi, there was any benefits to populate all the m2 ssd slots including the DIM.2? Also can you tell if we can create a Raid with all the 5 ssd? Thanks in advance
The most SSDs you want to run at once is three. One in Slot 1 under the CPU and the other two in the DIMM.2. If you populate M.2 Slot 2/3, it kicks PCI-E down to x8 and the 2nd PCI E 16x slot is disabled due to shared bandwidth. However, to answer your question, yes you can create a RAID.
