    Your aggressive skating would improve insanely if you started working on your basics first. Ride around, curve, fakie, jump, just get comfortable going fast and making sharp turns ect on your Aggresive skates. Start enjoying riding on them.*
    *Not saying you haven't improved, just a tip to get you to a next level faster ;)

    You should practice doing some laps on a tennis court or parking lot in your agg skates (not wizards), just get comfortable going faster and carving and skating fakie, try hopping into some 180s. I notice your body is very stiff when you land fakie and your feet are very wide apart. It’s much safer to land with your skates staggered front to back, and stay loose.

      100%
      Take your time mate. Switches are fun, but focus on the fundamentals, the basics, being comfortable on your skates, and finding consistency.
      Switches will come in time.

      You're right I need to do that, I tell myself to do that when I get to the park but once I start grinding my brain shuts off lol
      there's one park near me that actually has almost no obstacles that I'm comfortable grinding and just a ton of transition and smooth ground so I'm thinking of going there to force myself to just flow around the park and learn how to pump and ride fakie better

    I'm not good at switch up grinds either, but try Soul to Backside. That was my first switch up on the prail. Keep at it!

    • @inlineonline

      maybe I'll give that one a try, I actually havent done a single backside grind yet, I should probably get on that one too lol

      For that particular switch up, I think one the grinds (the soul or the backside) would need to be unnatural for him.

    Imo your grinds look better on the box. Your knees are bent but the frame of your body is more balanced looking and not leaning over like on prail. For me skating things lower is harder and i have a tendency to miss and crash harder

    • @inlineonline
      @inlineonline  3 месяца назад

      you're 100% right, its easier for me to learn new tricks on the prail but once I take it to the coping box I start to really get it, I think I might try to build a taller P rail, like 12 inches

    When your injured, just do regular skating without tricks. Aggressive skating would not help IF you fall again.

    Don't you think the easiest switch-up ever is mizou to soul? That counts as switch-up, right? Sometimes I need to remember inliners (probably the same with skate, bmx, etc) have such different predispositions and talents. I'm returning at 34 now (did like 4 years of it in my teens) and while the switch-up you were trying is super easy for me, those unity terrify me.

    • @inlineonline
      @inlineonline  3 месяца назад

    @12:10 don't put that shit on us man! LOL. Also, I really (and I'm being serious and speak for all of us I'm sure) You really need to take 2 - 3 weeks off from grinds. Maybe just work on regular skills... skating around etc (post THOSE vids!) But you need to heal mate!

    • @inlineonline
      @inlineonline  3 месяца назад +1

      haha there is NO WAY I can take that much time off but Ive been taking a day here and there off lately, its healing up! it no longer hurts reallllly bad when I slam. I actually took like 3-4 days off after that last park video I released before I filmed this session. I think as long as I keep it compressed with some sports tape and an elbow wrap I should be good (hopefully) remember its elbow bursitis which is painful and takes along time to fully heal but ultimately its not the worse injury in the world and I'll be back to 100% as soon as it heals
      Although I definitely agree with you, I just know how hard it is for me take any time off unless its raining so I'm just being realistic, I could sit here and tell you I'm going to take 2 weeks off but I would be lying haha I think you'll be happy to see that I havent fell super hard in the next few videos! The youtube is a few days behind because I only release mon-friday so if you wanna see the absolute most update to progress I also post short reels on my instagram! I just taught my buddy to do his first soul grind and he filmed some clips for me!

    I have been watching your videos for a while man and I have noticed you change your liners/insoles a lot and still have foot/toe pain. I think it may be time to look into some different skates rather constantly changing the liners, and footbeds and such. One thing a guy in crew said to me that stuck is "if you have to make so many changes out the box, it's most likely not the skate for you."
    Just something to think about. with amount of money you dropped on liners, the skates themselves...you could've bought a better skate that fits you well. Not trying to be a downer, but something to think about.

    • @inlineonline
      @inlineonline  3 месяца назад

      @@royalewithcheeze813 yeah I should have honestly just stuck with the stock liners from beginning, they are finally broken in and I just got home from a 45 minute session with zero foot pain!!! Not sure how much longer I could have gone without pain but it's a start. I have a super high volume foot, while being 120mm wide lol there's not much besides the factions that would fit me, even the super wide razor SLs have their width listed and it's more narrow than my foot. I think it's more of a me problem, decades of hurting my feet playing basketball is catching up to me lol
      Right now I THINK I have the perfect setup, but at the same time I'm not sure it will last 😂 the second skin liners in my factions also felt incredible until the tongue started calling. So I know it's possible to be pain free, I just have a bad habit of always trying something new and not letting anything break in
