He's playing it as such an interesting nuanced character it's great, he's simultaneously obnoxious but very encouraging to everyone, looking for friends in an intentionally awkward way, and a mix of arrogant and delusional but then insisting other people can do it too.
I think thats just a matter of him actually being a nice guy lol, I don't think he could act like an asshole if he tried

i agree with this, there were definitely parts where its like "ooo cringe, no magnus no" then you see him be super kind and encouraging. im curious if magnus found this character tough to portray because it felt like he was trying to be the opposite of how he is
If that teacher was "acting" hes the real hero of this. He played the concerned teacher freaking perfectly, the squirming concern he had was so authentic.

i respect that coach a ton. even though he knew it was a prank he still always kept his focus on whoever was climbing at the time. making sure they were doing ok and giving pointers and reassurance. even when magnus was explaining the parkour the coach told the girl on the wall "keep going , we're with you" letting her know she wasnt up there alone. Thats a fantastic coach.
The coach was awesome. He made me crack up. “That was outrageous. You’re a bit of a loose cannon” 🤣

We are at the point where even in my small gym, I have to do a quick double take on any new people just to be sure they aren’t Magnus in disguise.

The year is 2025. Magnus in disguise videos have taken over RUclips. I visit my gym to go climbing with my brother. He has tried a handful of times and I finally convinced him to join me. As we sign in at the front desk, I notice a new staff member. A small man with glasses and bleach blonde hair. My Magnus senses are tingling... his accent sounds Scandinavian but does not match his tanned skin. "Magnus?!" I shouted. They all looked at me with confusion. It wasn't even him. The paranoia is getting to me.
"Nevermind.." I say to my brother as we put on our shoes and begin to climb. During the warmup he wears gloves and mixes liquid chalk with powder. Once we get climbing, he improves at a superhuman rate. 'It cannot be' I thought. Then he flashes 8C. It wasn't my brother, it was Magnus.
Distraught, I called our mother. "Mum, did you know about this? I was expecting my brother and instead I'm with Magnus Midtbo." The gym was loud, I found it difficult to hear her on the phone. Through the noise I detect an unmistakable accent. "Of course I knew son.... it's me." My fears were turning to reality. Magnus had replaced my Mother. Nobody was safe.

I dunno, this one is VERY over the top, but very funny! When he was showing the others how to overuse figure 4, the coach was looking around like "I don't know if I can let him get away with that!"
So incredible obnoxious, it was so perfect because there is no way anyone could have seen through the vale of a shitty beginner.

The biggest surprise here is that a Magnus is an amazingly believable actor, with very subtle comedic instinct.
I do not follow climbing, however I do know Adam Ondra, because I am also from Czechia, and it really warmed my heart when you mentioned him at 6:49 :)

This is my first time seeing a real pro climber and Magnus and I gotta say, he really pulled a great acting and now I'm used to and preffered seeing this Magnus than the actual Magnus compared with the other videos.

I really liked that there were interactions with other beginners in this video, felt much more in depth than previous once. The character was really hilarious, interesting and extravagant, and in some bizzare way - more realistic than previous times, as you claimed to have at least some training. Also, the excitement of the people at the last climb was so amazing (favourite part of the video)!
