    We have some apartments with vents that run through the slab, and here lately...they have been filling with water. And mud... it's so fun. 😐

      Wow that's terrible! Sounds like a bad design for the dryer vents to go through the slab. I've never seen a place that had the vents going through a slab. I've seen the refrigerant lines going under a slab but never a dryer vent. Hope you get it straightened out. Thanks for watching NaruSanavai & subscribe to the channel if you're not already 🛠️👍

    Do you change the vent when this happens?

    • @ApartmentMaintenance
      @ApartmentMaintenance  Год назад +2

      You don't have to. Just make sure you get the water out & seal up the area where the water is getting in on the outside. Thanks for watching Hidden Treasures Ent 👍

    Do you know What if there is nothing in the hose, there hasn’t been rain for a long time and is only leaking when we try to dry things,

    • @ApartmentMaintenance
      @ApartmentMaintenance  6 месяцев назад

      Sounds like the dryer vent line is clogged & possibly inside the dryer itself. The water that is leaking under the dryer when it's in use is from the moisture the heat creates & can't escape out the vent line due to it being clogged with lint. @@scorpioroyalty6942 Yep! Rain water leaking into the dryer vent duct since the dryer vent hood wasn't caulked properly on the outside of the house. Thanks for watching & help support the channel by subscribing 🛠️👍

    Check the vent outside for what? I checked, there was some wet lint that way too but nothing else much and this water is much dirtier. I'm guessing I need a plumber and am looking for hope before I crawl underneath to look at pipe itself...

    • @ApartmentMaintenance
      @ApartmentMaintenance  Год назад +1

      Check outside where the dryer vent exits the home to see if the caulking needs redone. That's what the issue was with mine. The rain water was getting in the dryer vent. If that's not your issue then you could just have a clogged dryer vent line that needs cleaned out. Thanks for watching SOS_Ali & Subscribe to the channel 👍

    Never thought this would be possible …

    • @ApartmentMaintenance
      @ApartmentMaintenance  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yep it sure can. Either rain water leaking into the dryer duct or you can have a clogged dryer vent line which will create a lot of moisture & start to condensate in the vent hose. I've had a few dryers that actually leaked water underneath them from the vent being so clogged the moisture just dripped out of the duct. Hey, I just cleaned out our dryer exhaust vent, no lint in there. But now I am having some water accumulating towards the backside of the dryer on the bottom. Any ideas? Thanks@@ApartmentMaintenance

    • @ApartmentMaintenance
      @ApartmentMaintenance  5 месяцев назад

      @@Mikeh118 Sounds like the clog is in the dryer itself. You will have to take it apart & clean it out. You can try pulling off the hose & sticking a vacuum hose as far in as possible & a vacuum wand down inside where the lint screen goes. Hope that helps.
