    I made a second account and leave that one on my carrier so that he can buy the tritium and donate it, that way on my main account I don't have to jump back to my carrier every time it needs to be filled up. Also, more accounts means more tritium storage freed up on carrier, I'm at 4 accounts and rising. Lol

    Darn so refueling is basically selling to your carrier then huh? Was hoping there would be a separate system for this. Are you familiar with bulk trading using carriers? Would love a guide for that. 🙂

    • @ElderonAnalas
      @ElderonAnalas Год назад +1

      My understanding will be to go to a system you want to buy in with your ship docked, hope the planet with the station has a spot for you in orbit, and then manually ferry the good to your carrier, a few hundred at a time. Then jump to the sell system, and repeat the process in reverse.

    I have been away from the game for some years but I am thinking about coming back. Fleet carriers are new to me but I have a question: I have a fairly large fleet of vessels of my own that are specialized for different tasks (mining, combat, exploring, passengers, etc.). When I left there was talk of a means to transport all your ships to different bases without having to travel there yourself. Are the Fleet Carriers that means? I am not really ready to buy a fleet carrier but I have 7 ships I want to move a long way (Colonia) without having to actually fly there.

    •  3 месяца назад

      Yes, FC = Space for 40 ships + 200 moduls, FC = 500ly jumps

      There is the Raxaala exploration team, they had a few chatrooms over the years to discuss things but somewhere out there is a spreadsheet that people still actively work on. I haven't chipped in any, but they've surveyed tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of planets/systems. Still haven't found much, but 100's of theories of how to 'warp' to a secret system or COD difficulty easter egg type of stuff is on the table/lost in hundreds of pages of chatrooms.

      For explorers absolutely. Nothing worse than losing months of data because you crashed. With a. Fleet carrier you stay semi close and turn in data on a regular basis. I’m sure there are other benefits but that’s the one that made me get mine.

      @@thecursingexplorer138 What are you exploring though? Is there any point to leaving the bubble beyond money for scanning? Come to think of it.. are they ever going to DO anything with the other 99.8% of the planets/game? I mean, not that you would know, but it's kinda confusing. The game has been out for like 4/5 years now and zero DLCs or expansions.

They added some new skins and "lights" to one set of cosmetics. It makes me worry that the game is on life support at this point. No new ships, no real skins, no new interactions beyond thargoids being in systems. Unless I'm missing something.

    You don't seem to care about that 32+ mil/week upkeep. How are you comfortable with it? I mean, I'd love to have more services, but I don't have too much time to play, it feels like I'm playing just to maintaine the carrier; having to spend that much each week is a bit daunting.
