Snagging in AK is freezer fishing, not sport fishing. It probably sounds strange, but the point isn't to use skill to trick the fish into biting, it's to get food as quickly and as efficiently as possible, like spear fishing or dipnetting. Most of us up here also find snagging in any other situation taboo. I'm not trying to sway your opinion, just giving mine as someone who grew up here, and maybe to run a little defense for Mav experiencing other types of legal fishing.

Hearing the manual 7.3 idle really brought back some nice memories of driving around in the old truck with my lady. I really wish I could go back and buy it, or just another 7.3 in general. I really miss that old truck.

I’m late on this. But I hope that you can see this. You can snag salmon at Port Hope (halfway in between Ottawa and Toronto) during the fall. I have picture proof of my catches. They’re huge and the experience is something else with the hundred or so peeps on the canal. Right next to a nuclear waste plant and you see trains all night long. It’s effing amazing.

What a beautiful place to go fishing, you are so nice giving those rods away that would've made their day! I'm with you on the cruises, you get to see so much more when you're driving and I go on camping holidays to escape the crowds.

My older Ford the first gear was like a granny gear for climbing steep inclines. The normal driving I always started in 2nd gear.

That salmon bowl looked delicious. I eat smoked salmon with cream cheese, capers, red onion and sriracha sauce on bagels or rice cakes almost every day. Wish I could get salmon like that. The color is amazing. I love that pizza dough. Use it all the time. Hard to find in supermarkets so I buy it on Amazon. Comes in 6pack Did I mention that I love your videos. Murray too. He’s a hoot.

Yeah, you’re probably right about cruises. I’ve been on a couple only because it was a massive heavy metal festival. So based on that I say if it’s a theme cruise for something you’re passionate about then you might enjoy it. Also, I did a trip last year without my van and I was absolutely miserable. I’m doing it again next month but with better planning and not going anywhere I haven’t been before. Hopefully I’ll survive 3 days without my van.
