There aren't many choices for DA/SA hammer fired metal framed pistols these days. Props to Tanfoglio for producing something like this for those of us that hate plastic framed striker fired guns.
I have a 9mm “witness pro” a strange and one off production run from tanfoglio. It comes equipped with a bull barrel. Bought it for less than $600. What a value!
I have the defiant limited master, 10mm, one of my favorite shooters. It's been ultra reliabel after the first couple of hundred or so rounds. It really tames the 10 down for fast shooting.
What?! Sacrilege! I love my 97B but I did do the Cajun works modification for the barrel and trigger. It's amazing what a difference it made. I have several 10's but .45 just shoot better imo. I would love to have.a Tanfoglio 10mm though...
Sir your work is just stellar with the mighty 10mm and 45 acp. I just wish you will show a 45 Supers abilities , it would show the greatness of the overlooked 45 acp cartridge. Great work Sir and greetings from India. God Bless Your Freedom in America.
I have one with the wonderfulness on it and it's a wonder the Finish was ever going to stay on it. Within about 6 months it hadn't blooming rust spots on it and it is well maintained and taken care of. I had it refinished in cerakote and never had an issue with it they need to figure out their Metal Finishing processes and paint prepping.
That hard chrome looks really nice. Look into a SpringCo guide rod if you dont go with the Henning conical. It really brings that recoil down even more so.
Honestly if a 10mm/.38 super Jericho 941 doesn’t come into production in the next 10 years I’ll probably get a Tangfoglio and put a Star of David on it 😂
One caveat: the low-bore-axis, slide-in-frame design does make it a bit more difficult to go over the top and rack the slide than most other guns. There isn't much slide real estate to grab a hold of. And if you've got big hands, that makes it even trickier. Bump up the recoil spring strength, and it magnifies further. But at least we have the upgraded slab sides on the slides. I don't even want to try to imagine how people did it before, with the round top uppers!

I got the M&P 2.0 10mm on july 1st. Love everything about it so far, except for the complete lack of magazines for sale.
That seems to be the way it goes when you want them - when you no longer want them, the market will be flooded with them. Go figure!

It would only work with the 10mm slide. The guide rod arrangement on the compensated 45 slide is quite different.

10 mm is stupid expensive. Used to pay .18 rd. Lucky to find it less than a buck now. But still keep nice supply on hand.
I roll my own. Helps keep cost down a little.

Personally, I've haven't found this to be an issue.
Mec Gar is the only mags I use in my 226 Italian made stamp.Maybe the make mags for that , I know they do for witness.
Mec Gar mags for large frame Witness pistols also fit this one.
