  • @Chrisnuzzo76

    My gunsmith said the single action trigger pull is about 3.5 to 4 lbs.
    I've got the full size version of the 10mm. It's a gorgeous gun, and very well constructed. It's a supposed CZ 75 clone, but actually the safety operation is totally different (I have a CZ 75 Carry), the hammer is also much easier to pull back than the CZ, the slide release pin is also much easier to push out by hand. On my CZ 75 I have to push the pin with the magazine or on a wooden surface. Also, the full size ships with 1 14+1 magazine, although if you jam in a 14th round the magazine expands and doesn't as easily fit into the handle, so I recommend using 13+1 to prevent a feed malfunction. Overall, I am very pleased with this firearm. I chose it over the Glock 20 because of the full steel frame, and overall feel of more quality in the tolerances in manufacturing of it. An important question to many is weight. Well, it weighs about 8 oz's more than a G20.

    Great video! Thanks for sharing. I was looking into buying a 10mm and I had my eye on this compact tanfoglio for a while. Almost bought it but I found a good deal on a S&W 1006 that I couldn't turn down. They seem like really cool guns though. Maybe someday I'll buy one!

    Great video DM. One correction starting with the 10mm or 45acp you can go anything smaller in caliber but with a 9mm can't be upgraded to 45acp or 10mm. How does it shoot?

    • @DMFaas
      @DMFaas  3 года назад +1

      I thought it shot well until the recoil spring broke. The recoil springs aren't heavy enough but going to a heavier spring makes it harder to rack with the slide being set into the frame. There is less to grab. It's been sitting in my safe waiting for EAA to send me a replacement spring. I've been loving on my G20 in the meanwhile.

    • @earlycuyler2295
      @earlycuyler2295 4 года назад +3

      @Tripleblade 82 so my that logic why. Are 357 magnums a thing?( im not even goingbto dignify your " you cant find 10mm right now" argument. You cant find 9mm right now either.or 40.. Move on.
      Sadly your proposed tgeory that 10mms only " justification" for existance is bear protection falls apart under the slightest scruitiny. Yes 10mm has found popularity as bear defense, but that was NEVER what it was intended for.
      People also need to stop acting like 10mm is a punishing round to shoot based on their limmited experience with firearms that cannot handle the round. Yeah 10mm in a small polymer pistol is AWFUL. But in reality so is 40 s&w. Put a 10mm in a steel framed full size handgun and then judge its preformance vs precieved recoil. Yeah glocks are great, but let them be great at what they can handle, and leave the heavy lifting to. The proper platforms.
      The fact is that if not for the fbi and their poor training practices no body would have EVER bothered... And i used to be a 40 guy... Until i shot a ten. It has ALL THE DRAWBACKS that come with 1cm pistols. Heavy bullet, high preasure round, that only really preforms well in a full-size steel or aluminum pistol, with limited firearms designed to shoot the round in qustion and not just what amounts to an aftermarket conversion done in the factory by swapping a barrel and a heavier recoil spring. I mean its the same as 9mm vs 380... Except 380 you get a few " benifits" along with very little " given up" with modern offerings. ex. It becomes so low presure you can make guns much simpler and smaller, all most all chamberings are inherently subsonic and supress VERY well. It can use super light projectiles AND powder loads making it good for people that are recoil sensitive and what do you give up? Marginal penetration in sterile test scenarios? What is a 3/4" in gelitan? Dont get me wrong 9mm is by no means a bad choice either... But at least you can give a reason to justify 380. 40 is just stupid. 10mm can fill any role a .40 can and THEN ALSO, everything 10mm is known for.
      Saying that no one " needs" a 10mm because they are " to powerful" is the most pathetic thing ive ever heard... Not to mention completly incorrect.
      NO pistol round is a good option. They at absolute best a " fair comprimise". Even hot 10mm is not considered a gauranteed 1 shot stop. And it shouldn't be. And it compares favorably to .357 magnum. Which is one of the few handgun chamberings with a common loading that IS considered safe to asume will be . if youve cucked yourself into believing you are better of with a quantifiably inferior chamering, think 10mms has no purpose outside of " bear attacks" or that using something instead of 10mm is some kind of " statement of intent" on your part i advise you to stop carrying your firearm and go take a few classes as to the civilian use of deadly force in self defence classes.

    • @earlycuyler2295
      @earlycuyler2295 4 года назад +1

      @Tripleblade 82 over penetration is vastly over emphasized, never has caliber been used as some determining factor in a self defense case( and the one your about to cite, in AZ was promptly overturned. try again.). You are still under this delusion that 10mm is some kind of nuclear load. Sure its on the powerful side but again you are overestimating what is. You complet lack of experience comes blaring through with every ingnorant word you use to try to justify what is an awful comprimisese with ZERO benifits to the end user. Its ok to admit that we were all wrong about 40. And id much rather have a few great options in 10 than a billion bad ones in 40.
      40 cal is just a terrible option that was well marketed. And we all fell for it. We all bought into " the cops use it" mentallity. But it is just stupid to use it when you can get something way better.

    • @earlycuyler2295
      @earlycuyler2295 4 года назад +3

      @Tripleblade 82 my issue is not with any "offence" taken or whatever. Merely that 40 s&w is a pointless round at this point. Anything it can do 10mm does better. We all really wanted to belive tge hype but the round failed to delivered what it promised, and essentially became a lower capacy, harder to shoot, 9mm.
      while he may be " popular" you need to inderstand that hickock45 is not only a paid spokesperson and entertainer, but also meters his praises to align with his audiences pre conceptions.and has been called out numerous times for his misleading information... Especially when it comes to " Self defense" .
