They are a great gun, bought my EAA Witness Elite Match in .40 S&W a little over five years ago and still treat it like my new baby. It's my only gun I keep in it's case.
Beautiful sidearm also a beautiful case too boot. I know how you feel I slept in a Holiday Inn in Steubenville - that's what started my drinking problem.
Do the 45 or the 10mm exhibit frame deformations from the guide rod at higher round counts? My 40 Match did until I got a Hennings guide rod. Good videos on the cz pattern guns sir!
I have a 45 ACP Tanfoglio Witness and it came with the 22lr combo klt, i got it at a gunshow in Roanoke, Virginia. The guy that was selling it said he shoot a lot of 22lr through it and used the heck out of the 22lr convertion kit. But he said the 45 slide has only a 100 rounds through it and hardly been used that much. He wanted 450 dollars for it, so I bought the gun and I have had no problems with the 45 slide, but i only had one problem with the 22lr convertion kit. The 22lr slide doesn't have enough power to eject the rounds, I contacted EAA and they said what ammo are you using. I said the cheap Winchesters, EAA said it should be shoot with match 22lr ammo only. Like 40 grains or more, it gives the round more energy to eject better. Well I tried that and everything is working just fine now, but I have to buy the expensive 22lr ammo now. Great gun for the money and awesome clone to the CZ-75 version. I have had this gun for 8 years now and I still love it. Keep up the great reviews icarryone .
I had one many years ago. Regret selling it but the sights were horrible with no option to replace. Now I see there is a fiber optic. I may have to get another one.
Most of the guys I know who run 45 Super in their Glocks run a 20 to 22 pound recoil spring. A 24 pound spring might be causing it to short cycle - characteristically causing occasional misfeeds and stovepipes - that sound about right?
@@Icarryone When I served I met a few guys that had been shot with 9mm and still fit to serve. Guys shot with .45 however, well you visited them at their headstone. .45 in the hood, 10mm for the woods, 9mm for the range and .44 magnum for the strange.
Well if it isn't the fly that could here again this I think is the second time a fly "stole the spot light" anyway another great looking gun to bad about the grips they are much more bland then what you usually get still nice wood compared to simple plastic.
The CZ 97 and the Tanfoglio Elite Match are both very well made and equally durable - but the Elite Match does come with a few refinements the CZ lacks. Those refinements include a tuned action, match grade "single action" trigger system and match grade barrel - not to mention, fully adjustable sights. If your interest leans more toward home and personal defense, instead of competitive target shooting, the CZ 97B might actually be the better choice due to having a "double action" firing system. Otherwise, it just comes down to personal preference.
Another great review my friend. Most Americans should get up in the morning look outside and thank god they were born in the USA with all the freedoms that comes with that and stop whining. Stay safe sir 👍
@@Icarryone ....so it's just a matter of recoil spring ???....no other things involved ?....like barrel or chamber........thickness etc.......thx......
Great review. It looks beautiful the way you have it set up with fiber optic front sight and walnut grips. Thanks for sharing your pistol with us.
My pleasure Robert.
Great review these are fantastic pistols good shooting my friend
Thank you Scotsman.
Good morning, pistol fantastic, amazing . Thanks for video👍👍👍
My pleasure Roberto.
Superb pistol, very accurate and a great SA trigger!
Agreed. 👍
Nice to see you expanding your Tanfoglio collection. I'm working on my 3rd one right now.
I currently have four Tanfoglio's in my collection
The force is strong with you

Yes, the Elite Match certainly comes with a nice case.
Great vid as usual IC1. You gave me some insight as to why there are so many arrogant Tangfolio fans in some of my 10mm forums.
Some of those guys on the forums really make me nervous.
I own two of them. Both accurate and a pleasure to shoot.
👍🤠
She’s a beauty!
Yesssssss!
Cz copies are
Very nice pistol. I shoot a TS .40, and this does seem simalar. Great job on the review.
There are a lot of similarities - the biggest exception is the price.
Nice review, next on my to get list. Thanks
It's definitely one worth having.
I own and love this amazingly accurate handgun. Shooting world's best kept secret. Like the walnut grips.
The walnut grips feel really good in the hand.
Another great video. Best copy of the CZ 97
You just can't go wrong if it's based on a CZ.
Icarryone agreed.. Great Guns
Beautiful sidearm also a beautiful case too boot. I know how you feel I slept in a Holiday Inn in Steubenville - that's what started my drinking problem.
I suppose I'm blessed . . . never had a single problem drinking. Cheers!
Beautiful hand gun
I think so too.
It's awesome looking
Beauty indeed.
Thank you John.
You know, I have a Jericho in .45, I really hope that Tanfoglio is not as heavy, LOL. What a beautiful pistol.
The Elite Match is no lightweight.
Love that gun, one day I'm going to get me one! :)
Do what I did, get two.
Do the 45 or the 10mm exhibit frame deformations from the guide rod at higher round counts? My 40 Match did until I got a Hennings guide rod.
Good videos on the cz pattern guns sir!
Both of my Elite Match pistols have a pretty high round count. So far, no issues with either of them whatsoever.

Sounds like you got a great deal on that Tanfoglio, Jerry.
Thanks Icarryone, and I enjoy your channel a lot.
I added this to my 'want' list a couple years ago. Some day...some day...
It's certainly one worthy of a "want" list - I assure you.
That's a beauty
One heck of a good shooter too.
Great review! Do you have or use the EAA conversion kits?
Yes, I have a couple of conversion slides. A .45 conversion for my polymer framed 10mm and another for one of my steel framed Tanfoglio's.
When do we get an episode of the new 10mms from Tanfoglio such a the P Match and Stock I?
My top 10mm picks for 2018 will be coming up in a few weeks.
Very nice I seen those.
oh yeah FIRST!!!
You're even faster than a jackrabbit on a first date.
BATJAC J.W
First means you also buy the first round for the house
Yeah, what he just said!
Enjoyed hearing about the handgun. Sounds like a lot of gun for the money! But then, most of the guns you review tend to fall into that category!
I do like a good deal. Especially when I get my money's worth.
What would you recommend the 45 ACP or the 10mm you know on second thought you're a big 10 millimeter fan silly question
I couldn't make up my mind, so I bought both.
Icarryone LOL
10mm woods gun, 45 range home defense
Perfect!

Tanfoglio has made a number of improvements to their product line in recent years.
Shoot that damn fly. Jethro and Uncle Jed could. Lol. Nice shooter.
He landed on my head - now what?
Icarryone
Aim VERY carefully
Fully Supported, that means with a heavier recoil spring i can run .45 super
Just order a 20lb. recoil spring and give it a go.
Icarryone you think my 24lb spring in my g21 it's too heavy... I have some hiccups now and again... ? Check out my playlist on that one

Icarryone sounds about right but I'm running some pushing it hot handloads...
Just for giggles, try the lighter recoil springs and see if that improves things.
If 11 shots of .45 doesn't get it done, well, ya dun goofed son.
That's a fact.

The walnut grips are actually pretty nice - but you're right, the selection is a bit limited.
I love VidMe ..... wait.
Nice pistol!
VidMe? Never heard of it.
Hold me!
Let's not make this weird . . . . again.
Sorry .... I will be right up...
I'll put on some mood music.
Cz 97 b or match tanfoglio ? Which is the better? Quality and durability

I , for one, appreciate my freedoms - and I am trying my best to keep them.
Icarryone good,as charton Heston once said OUT OF MY COLD DEAD HAND.👍
anybody knows if it can accept 45 super ?...........thx.............
Yes, as long as you upgrade the recoil spring to either 20 or 22 lb. - whichever runs best.

That's pretty much it.
I need this Pistol in my life
Of course you do!
If only you could get a barrel in 9x25 Dillon or 40 Super it would make a great hunter. No offence to the 10mm but the 40 Super kicks its cabbage.
Lots of excellent calibers out there - but I think I'll stick with the 10mm.
