@Ryan Marvin TulAmmo is the crapiest crap one can possibly find in the market. It is made in Russian Federation in Tula city and these particular have always been the worst ammo in the market. Avoid them at all cost. There is other Russian brand called "Monarch" and those are really awesome ones, those of high quality and can be highly recommended. But Tul ammo is cheap crap

Been thinking about picking up one of these. I carry a CZ 75 PCR and it's a phenomenal gun. I did a full polish job on the internals and installed the CGW pro package along with some CZ Custom aluminum grips and Heinie straight 8 sights. I couldn't be happier with it. I shoot better with my PCR than with any other gun I've ever handled and the overall quality of the parts and finish is just superb.

Beautiful gun and the build quality on them is always tier 1. As for mag capacity, well if 10 230 grain doesn't get it done you're doing it wrong son.
Thanks Eric. After holding one of these at a gun show it moved to the top of my must get list. I have big hands and it feels right at home. And you gotta love that big ole 45acp round.
The thin aluminium grips make a big difference. They offer better serrations and take off critical millimeters where it matters. They also come in different colours, mine are orange-red.

I would really love to see a video (or maybe even a video series) where Eric and Chad go out with a fixed budget to buy a specific gun, do any gunsmithing they want and buy any accessories and then each has to review the others. Then at the end ask one of your other team members (or maybe even another youtuber) gets to decide on a winner of the challenge. You could do themes (mall ninja or tacticool or classics etc.) and then sell the guns to raise money for a good charity. I'd watch that all day with you guys being the characters you are.
+Shenan Igans I second this. I would also propose a series or just a video to cover a topic such as setting up a *gun trust*; from those that have done it, to those that are planning on it and would appreciate the input from a knowledgeable source.

That's an oxymoron. Browning Hi-Power and CZ-75 are the best affordable steel frame semi autos made. Throw in a 59 Smith and Wesson series there as well.
I own a 97b paid around $700, my brother has a p220 sig and paid $1100. I don’t envy nothing to the p220 with my 97.
Ran mine thru Cajun Gun Works .. got a 2.5 lbs single action and 4.5 on double. 🤠

+Ryan Redmond But then again, it would suffer as a carry gun that way since the rail would get caught on things unless a light was mounted, which would in turn bulk up the gun.

I'm sure if you hear something in the middle of the night to find out it was nothing, just a person you know crapping their pants because your light was on your gun while you're shining it around... at them. Well, you don't put much into your reviews, not many targets because you can't shoot well in the first place so seeing something like this in your reply.... well, it's just expected now isn't it? Learn to shoot, then learn to post.

Mrgunsngear is merely "tacticool", he doesn't actually have any amount of relevant skill needed to truly review firearms beyond a simple unboxing. How's that for critical?
I have a CZ 2075 Rami 9mm. I bought it new, I've had it for about a year, and have several thousand rounds through it without a single failure. Anyone looking for a reliable pistol that shoots quite accurately ought to give CZ a look. Like you said, they're a little bit more money, but let's be honest; good guns are good investments.

Matt M I personally put CZ above all them. Not that those guns suck, CZ is just better in my opinion, plus they are less expensive in most cases. CZ is a smaller manufacturer so finding the one you want can be a struggle sometimes.
Finally a CZ video. I am still waiting for a review of the SP-01, or the P-01/P-07/P-09 on this channel. Excellent handguns and my first choices for a self-defense pistol.

Thanks for the review Eric. Another CZ fan here. love my CZ 97B. I have four of them in Glossy Blue. So yes they are produced sporadically in a beautiful glossy blue finish. My 75Bs are also Glossy Blue.
the CZ97 is a great gun. Mine is a 2013 model with Glossy blue finish, Aluminum grips and fiber optic front sight. Its definitely a keeper. Now, after seeing this video,I'm gonna have to take her out to the range.
I purchased one from the AZ custom shop and had a trigger job done and added the thin aluminum grips; it shoots better than I can as as well or better than a series 80 Gold Cup I've had for decades.
I certainly love mine!

While the CZ97 and the Tanfoglio Witness in .45 only have 10 round magazines, Sarsilmaz makes a similar design called the SAR K2 .45, and it carries 14 round magazines flush. I've held one and am astonished on how slim the grip feels with such a large magazine.
Have a 97B that was my 2nd CZ. Shoots like a dream. If you like 1911 style pistols, do yourself a favor and check out a 97B.
None better, solid accurate, excellent handling,10+1 and well ya, It's a CZ so......... Their 9s of course are also fantastic as are the 22 rifles.
Love my 97B... aka(Baby) I've her for 3yr, cut my teeth on the 1911, trained by the corps SW1 (SCWS)ret. It never leaves my side!!

One of these has been on my radar for a while. I have a CZ75B in 9mm and absolutely love it. It would probably be my carry gun if that were allowed here in Canada.
Always fun to watch! The take-down was super cool.
Being a footsure follower of the 9 mm cal as an adequate self-defense option, I used to come across figures showing that the amount of shot to death by 0.45 cal equals to those wounded by 9 mm cal. The inverse ration sort of.
I got a chance to look at one with wooden checkers and very slightly worn internals. It had clearly seen many range days, and yet with no bells or whistles, everything was perfect
The slide was easy to operate without feeling broken
The pressure well for the magazine worked with hardly any force, and magazines wouldn't just fall out
The sight system is PERFECT
Good mag size and even used magazines are rather reliable it seems
The safety only works when the gun is cocked
Double action and single action
Perfectly fits to even a large veteran's hands from what I've seen
Packs the .45 acp, and a fair mag size
The grip is easy to get a hold of, and the slide release is easy to use unlike certain commander models of a gun I know....
This gun is overall, in my personal opinion, awesome! I liked it and it handled like a dream in every way.
I've been wanting this gun in stainless for the longgggest damn time.
They've never made them stainless. Previous generation was blued, current is coated.

This needs to be offered with a .460 Rowland barrel. The extended dust cover looks like it would be great for a rail.

I have 2 CZs the 75 and the pocket sized 2075 9mm. I may just need to get this one as well. CZs make great firearms!
Time machine forward to April 2022. I'm loving my 2021 production 97B bought NIB on Gun Broker. Cleaned and lubricated before first shot, WOW‼️ Smooth, Accurate, soft recoil just like my new 2075 RAMI, and my 1984 75pre-B. The factory red fiber optic front sight is Lazer like at 45 feet. Love love love. The CZ 75 family of pistols is all one person needs. All models are quality, precision, accurate,, comfortable, beautiful to hold and look at. Even my vz52 7.62x25 has a CZ soul. Loser from age but it's power and ear shattering report are comforting. All 70 years of ultimate performance. This 97 B .45 ACP is the 4-Star General
of them all. Just like my name, the 97B is the Creighton Abrams tank of CZ pistols. I'm 70 years also, but won't be as strong as these fabulous metal pistols at 90. Now waiting for palm swell LOK grips to fine fit the General to my large size hands. Salute CZ

Nice video! I am a big CZ fan.Out here in Europe,imho one of the best deals you can get considering quality/philosophy of use/price . Considering those 3 rules you always seem to end up with CZ for some reason:-) I have a CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow,CZ 75 Tactical Sports with updrades, CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 ,CZ 858 tactical with FD furniture and a great little 100 metres plinker ,the CZ 455. Looking towards the Dan Wesson 1911 Silverback as well...I would buy more if my budget would allow it:-) Feel free to check the reviews one my channel. Thanks for sharing this video on the 97! I think CZ's biggest problem is that, being a smaller company, their consistency is a little hit or miss.
One might have a phenomenal double action that is smooth with no stacking, and another of the same exact model might feel like 12 pounds of grit that stacks more than a championship match of Jenga.
Other than that, they are outstanding firearms.

I've got an old 1982 CZ-75 Pre-B, and yeah, its double-action trigger is amazing. Puts the P38 and M1895 to shame. Even smoother than the Mk.VI Webley I think, which also has a pretty nice double action pull.

Looks like the rounds are black powder. It is the way they are smoking after they are shot.
I think a lot of it has to do with the sunlight and the contrast against the dark trees

I have the 2015 model with aluminum grips 97BD. Grips now keep it slimmer and more traction. Crazy accurate, great night sights on BD model. The 97 can easily run against the 1911 in accuracy. Tanfoglio is a good pistol as well. CZ will be more robust in steel all around. Now if they can make this into a 10mm, take my money now. Also magazines are changed up since 2013 which are Mec Gar latest. EAA .45 mags should work with the 97 and are less costly.

You are a pretty good shot. I own 7 CZ'S & my buddies say because I shoot CZ'S I cheat.
Not to disrespect all other handguns, but the CZ really is the best thing since sliced bread. Hope that clears up any confusion.

They should've never discontinued the 97, it's pretty hard to hard find a .45 pistol that aren't seas of 1911s in my country or Glock 21 just awkwardly sits there for those want something different in .45 ACP.
If CZ makes another pistol in .45 ACP I'm in.
The fit and finish of 97B is on another level compared to a plasticky comparatively toy-like feel of Glock.

I owned a CZ P-09 in .40 S&W and wasn't really a fan, so I got rid of it. I just wasn't able to get myself accurate with it. The DA trigger seemed rough, heavy, and too long. But after watching this, I now want one of these to try out.
I chose the Baby Eagle in .45, but don't shoot it much, because of the size and weight. I has become a safe queen and will come out if need be or a trade.
Funny when reading descriptions of guns and they say “accurate.” Both my CZ’s (75 & 97) are accurate. Love my CZ 97 purchased used ($500) years ago was the '98 model with the brown grips. Had fired several 45’s, all in the 1911 style, didn't care for grip safety and SA mode. I was disappointed that it had a plastic/rubber guide rod, so I called CZ and they sent out chrome one and a couple different springs. Advised to look for internal slide rails as it could handle the hottest rounds (reloads).
I've got its cousin the EAA Witness 45 but even so I really like it. Thank you for the video and keep them coming.

Man that looks like an awesome 45. I'm stuck right now trying to decide between the CZ-97 and the new Walther PPQ in 45. I love both platforms as I have 2 PPQs and 3 CZ's (in other calibers) but need to settle on one.
I would love to see a review on the Tanfoglio witness hunter elite 10mm. Much the same setup, but more target shooting oriented. Hope you will do one some day!:)
I'm very fond of my Witness .45 Match. Same gun, basically. Except I lost the DA. That's okay, beautiful SA and I believe in Condition 1.
