      Doesn't this have a PPQ/VP9 style single action/fully precocked trigger? Glocks have a partially cocked trigger.

      Mackenzie Ross agreed,I like my Glock but it isn't the most comfortable pistol. It rubs my finger pretty bad under the trigger guard. That's really my only issue with my glock.

      Focusing on quality over quantity this year. Not to say our normal shot show videos aren't palletable, but I think a more hands on approach to new guns is more appreciated than a prepackaged glimpse that everybody is trying to do all at the same time. Of course, there were a ton of items I wasn't able to get in time for the show, but I'll have overnighted likely as soon as the show is over.

    I know I'm chiming in way later on this but better late than never right? My observations of this pistol are 1) it has an Apex worthy trigger right out the gate 2) the barrel may as well be a bull barrel for as overbuilt as it is, 3) watching the slow motion of Chad shooting it has a very positive and consistent ejection pattern. I have yet to shoot one myself none of my local ranges rent them and none of my local shops even have one in the display. Whether it is due to lack of popularity or interest or that they are that hot that they can't keep them in stock I'm uncertain. Either way it seems to be rather accurate and I wouldn't expect anything less from CZ, i have had a slew of CZ pistols in the past and one thing I can say is they are built to last and are dead balls accurate right out the box. Great review gentlemen thank you.

    Seems like the bigger a RUclips channel gets, the sadder blokes are that come on to share their lack of appreciation for anything at all. What a bunch of narcissists.
    I don't see what people are complaining about. We are lucky that we actually have so many options for pistols. Though many are similar, that range of variation means that just about anyone can find that perfect pistol. If they really want something they think is different then they can go make a pistol of their own. This is America, holmes; You're welcome.
    Anyways thank for the vid IV8888!

    Eric, I just wanted to add on to what you said about knowing if you have a loaded gun or not and the loaded chamber indicator. Another great feature about Glock pistols is that the trigger stays to the rear and won't reset forward unless the slide has been racked. Of course, if you carry as much as we do, you know if it's loaded or not.

I do prefer the same trigger pull. my point is, the problem I see glock having is companies are basically making the same gun, at lower cost. and that's probably the biggest complaint I hear from people in recent weeks.

I knew the 75's have a great reputation but was looking to get a glock 19 until I saw this. I know CZ's reputation, but I'm wary of brand new guns that haven't been tested by many users for many years. Are my fears unfounded or is it still too early to tell? Thank you!

As you put more rounds through it and the pistol loosens up, something tells me that gap is just going to get bigger.Hopefully, they will tighten up the fit in the final production model.It can be done without compromising function/reliability.

I ask because I have a ton of FM/IMT headstamp saved up but the little ledge inside the case has me curious about overall case volume so I haven't developed any loads using the FM cases. Emailing freedom was useless because all they said was "it's good brass" with no instruction or information whatsoever.

    CZ did a striker fired right. Finally there's a truly fully ambidextrous striker fired pistol. A righty can pick this up and use it just as easily as a lefty, no swapping everything or anything. The trigger is from what I've heard as good if not better than the Walther PPQ, which means it's one of the best striker triggers on the market. And to boot it's got fantastic CZ P07 ergonomics. It's not revolutionary, it's just very well executed.

But my question is, why aren't more gun manufacturer's making a .357Sig version of the same pistols? I love the .357 cartridge, our gun range does not allow rapid fire but for double taps ore controlled pairs at 21 feet or less, I feel it is managable as 9mm.

    Is that gap between the slide and the rail supposed to be there?

    • @berzerk890
      @berzerk890 7 лет назад +7

      Wyatt yes funny enough makes for greater reliability. looser fit allows junk to get into that rail but either fall out the opening, or never effect the rail itself. Have you seen MAC's pistol tests? some of the higher tolerance guns perform the worse. Glocks are loose that's why they are reliable.

    • @WyattUTFT
      @WyattUTFT 7 лет назад +2

      I knew glocks had it but I guess I didn't notice it on mac's vid on the p10c so i thought it might just be a defect

    • @ricks.1092
      @ricks.1092 7 лет назад +7

      MAC's channel isn't conducting a test. It's more entertainment. Of course some of you people will claim it's real world testing, etc. However, I challenge you to apply some critical thinking. And you'll discover that what MAC is doing is NOT a test. Here's a tip. When he does the gauntlet test. When do you expect to submerge your firearm in water, then have it dropped in sand, then dirt and finally mud. Then proceed to shoot the firearm? Also take into account that Tim presses the firearm into the element on both sides. His argument is what if you get into a fight your firearm is somehow dislodged from your hand. If you feel you're going to need your firearm and you allow a potential perpetrator to get that close to you. Perhaps, you should reconsider in carrying a firearm in the first place. Tim is one of those people who over thinks situations. Way over think it. Also, if a person doesn't get a particular firearm based on Tim's purported test. Well, then your ignorance will stop you from purchasing a potentially fine gun. Or you refuse to carry it, etc. Remember, he is only using a SAMPLE OF ONE. And yet the Sig P226 that failed MAC testing. Did great in the Military testing and used by the Navy special forces for years. Military testing takes roughly a year of testing. That should tell you something. Police departments conduct extensive testing too. Which the police depts., testing is more conducive to what a civilian ccw might incur while ccwing. Again, think these things out. You should never rely on a YY channel for recommendations per se. Conduct your own research. See the Late Boy Scout Channel. in which he reveals in a video, about the inside relationships these channels have with gun companies and dealers. Channels are known as "Influencers" for products...hence a Infomercial type of thing. As well as, the channels having a "Quid Pro Quo" relationship with YT gun channels. Therefore, it's in your best interest to conduct you own research and be thorough about it.

      Sometimes we are able to get a gun early by calling a company and asking nicely. Now whether they associate who we are with some perceived gain on their part, I can't help that. I'll be honest with all of you, I DO NOT care if you buy ANYTHING that I review on my channel. Not one bit. People seem to have this strange fantasy that we are celebrities and all this but it's something they are making up. I am a regular guy who likes to spread knowledge, show off cool stuff, and have fun with guns on RUclips. Now do I occasionally get a little help acquiring a rare or hard to get firearm? Especially a new one like this that's isn't avaialble yet? Of course, but I clearly mentioned in the video that it was a loaner. I would buy it but they won't let me. I buy most of what I review. A lot of people don't understand that stuff like the "Man Cans" I sell generally allow me to sort of March to the beat of my own drum. I give the people that subscribe to this channel exactly what they want. Don't know any other way to put it. I think it's a waste of time and resources to even worry yourself with it, because it's not like I have 1.3 million subscribers because they get nothing but bad advice...lol

    CZ P-38T
    Great video. 👍
    What I would like to see is a striker-fired CZ 380.
    Most of us carry smaller concealed pistols.
    Isn't anybody else thinking the same way as me?

    I really think it's great from what I've seen. I like the beefy parts like the barrel and ejector. Lots of little things that will make me buy this before I get the G19

      I have a few pistols. the walther ppq is far better than my glock 19. I have walther ppq 9m2(side mag release)-canick tp9sf-Glock 19-S&W shield 9/45-CZ 97BD. Had CZ p09, kinda regret getting rid of it, but not into hammer pistols anymore. keep my 97bd cuz its a big bad-ass all metal gun!... lol but knowing CZ's, am sure this P10c is notches above glock!

    Iraqveteran888 thanks for Vid. Been wondering about these new CZ's. Probably will be a while before we will be able to hold of them here in South Africa. Now I'm just waiting for CZ to produce a hammer fired pistol with the same take down.

    New gun gripe idea! What if you guys talk about state vs federal law, for example, here in Missouri the age for concealed carry is 19, however federal law stipulates 21 to buy a handgun.

    I kind of thought that too. Putting a Glock inside a CZ, I like Glocks too and find CZ's somewhat better. But the P10C put the two together.

    Thanks again Eric for informative vid's. Like you I like Glocks, but I like a lot of different manufactures. I even own a Rossi for EDC. I was reading in G&A about this and thought of this as an great addition to my CZ collection. CZ makes very good stuff and their CS is really helpful and professional. Nice company to deal with.

    This gun could be some real competition for the glock overhere in Europe. The glock costs about 600 euro overhere. A CZ P-07 is 450 euro. If they could launch it at around the same price as the P-07 it will get some serious sales numbers. I'm looking forward to this gun, it'll be a nice companion for my CZ 85 combat.

    • @Zatracenec
      @Zatracenec 7 лет назад

      I highly doubt, they will keep the pricing same for Europe. CZs like Compacts, P-01, P-07 etc...start on 650 Euro here in Czech Republic. It was the same with my P-01. US pricing is waaaaaay lower, than we have here. Maybe because it's much bigger guns market, I don't know. Damn it!

    • @w00dy-18
      @w00dy-18 7 лет назад

      You can get a P-07 for 450-460 euro's in Belgium. Unless the prices increased dramaticly the last few months, you guys are getting ripped off in the Czech republic!

      Pukkepop Tell me about it. :-) I dont know, why we are getting such bomb prices. Like WTF? We live in a country of origin of these pistols. :-D World is a strange place for sure. Its good You can get it in so great pricing.

    • @w00dy-18
      @w00dy-18 7 лет назад +3

      LOL In Belgium we can't even get FN products, eventhough they are made in our country. If you want FN, you have to buy imported FN USA products which are insanely expensive. We should be able to buy our SCAR's in our own country!

    but i am always down to shoot and check out a new side arm.
    i definitely want an M-9 /92fs just as a reminder of what i carried in the Marine Corps and besides the 92fs /M-9 is a great gun...
    but i will say this C.Z. is really nice looking
    im not a huge 9mm fan but i do like the C.Z.75, the 92fs and browning H.P. in 9mm. but this sucker here looks reallly decent...
