Frank LaMarr is a brilliant inventor designer with a history of inovation with Guytron and Egnater amps plus many personal inventions like "wireless midi path control" I am happy to see him with Rocktron products now and am enthusiastic for the new products he will inspire... RocktronUSA I am a big fan of Rock tron I have used many Rocktron products throughout the years.. I presently use a patch 8 and midi raider in my stage setup and am excited about the new generation velocity power amps to keep my touring rigs weight as low as possible... My suggestion to you would be to make the new tube preamps "midi controllable with preset memories" and a parallel FX loop whose mix level was also memory controlled... so you would have a great classic preamp with modern midi control and that is something that is missing from the industry for years now since Marshall stopped making the JMP1.... the old used JMP1 preamps are selling for 800 bucks on ebay and for good reason. Rocktron could take that to the next level and have a smash hit on their hands.... Good luck in whatever you .. warmest regards Awesome John
Impressive concept and demo! It's a shame these didn't take off more, but there are not that many of us rack guys left out here. Is this tube preamp he demo'd here the same thing as the "Black plate +" version? All the front controls look the same, but he only refers to it as the "valvesonic".

I like how he's actually willing to admit where the designs come from.
Most of us guitarists won't accept new technologies or new ways to do things. That's why we go to the oldies and copy that and mix 'em up.
