I'm currently working on building a better PC editor for the Voodu valve. Also making it easy to share presets. Been busy deciding the midi sysex it uses to dump and load presets. Hoping to get it going in the next few weeks.
Wow, thats great! How do you do this? Which language do you use for the editor? Java?
@@DanielKraemerMusic with lots of patience and a HEX editor. At the moment I have done python classes that can do most of it. The challenging part is making the midi CC controller part work because there are so many parameters in there. Then I need to work out what I want next. I think it would be to have all of the preset on a single screen to make changes easier. Then possibly the ability to copy parts of a preset between presets. Then also something to make balancing volume levels easier.
Also thinking to make it API and then the VV could have mobile phone apps for it. I wrote to GHS about the idea and they didn't respond. So it is kind of dead to them.
I have a Voodu Valve with newer tube sent by Rocktron. You really know how to squeeze the power outta that puppy! I was gonna sell it but not now! Thanks for sharing!😎🤘

Danke das du den Preamp meinst...😅Ja, die Teile sind richtig gut.vor allem sehr flexibel durch den preEQ und PostEQ.Und die speaker emulation haben die echt gut gemacht.
Im looking for a preamp that wont break the bank for a simple rack setup. CAE Soldano etc are way out of my bracket. If i could get one i would get a Kasha... do you think this is a decent preamp ? Someone suggested a Tech 21 psa 1.1 but that sounds really transistory to me. I want buce cleans and decent lead for 80s session tone like Huff.
If you're looking for a great sounding tube preamp, I'd recommend the ENGL 530 or he old 520. Another great yet difficult to handle is the Peavey rockmaster, if you like the 5150 sound. The Rocktrons are also great, but you have to know about the PEQs. they're the key to a good result with these units. I can recommend the VooduValve, Chameleon or Prophesy. the Piranha also, but it doesnt have the effects section. But compared to the pure analog tube preamps, they don't sound that direct, if you compare them side by side. Hope that helps 😉

Of the analog preamps it's easily the Triaxis/2:90 combination. Second would probably be the ENGL 520/ENGL920 combination...
