So if I'm correct,these are 1 channel pres w/the ability to use a footswitch to kick in a high gain "stage" if you will? I LOVE my Prophesy 2 soooo much,I was hoping for a new take on that great sound that it has. As long as I can use this plexi model for my core clean/dirty tones and add fx to it...all is well! Almost two years later- still only the widowmaker has been released T.T I just want more rack preamp options.
They announced the first VALVESONIC last summer at NAMM. It never was put into production. Now 4 more announced , (sound killer BTW) ! I hope to god these will be available soon and reasonably priced;)

Nope, I kept asking when they kept posting other products. They blocked me , guess they don't want to admit what's really going on, too bad too. I would buy one!

Jabbour Berdkan Well I hope they get with it! I like Rocktron products. But they shouldn't be advertising until they are sure of having them on the market. I think these tube preamps would be a big hit once they are out.

HomeTracks Yar, so you do not need to push in the input button on the back of the Mainline power amp, just plug in yer 11R and go. You can use the balanced stereo outputs (with an adapter) or the Amp Out on the 11R, in mono.
From the 11R Manual: "The Main outputs are line-level, rather than mic-level outputs. When connecting to a mixer or other device with microphone pre-amps, it is best to use the device’s line-level inputs, if provided. If only inputs with pre-amps are available, adjust the preamp gain on each channel to avoid clipping."
I love the blackface but man would be awesome to have two channels that are foot switch selectable. Just me..

Sorry for the delay; there have been a ton of issues. The Plexi will be ready for shipping by end of January.

What is so tough about a small tube amp with a few features. A single space randall rt amp or the like. "Tube like"? Why. You made tube pres so go the extra and pair a proper amp with it.

These products look and sound like the real deal, but my guess is: they are getting held up by [A] patent litigation, [B] the primary R&D team got fired or the project leader quit, and/or [C] Rocktron is having a hard time sourcing components and factory for mass production. All of those scenarios can easily stall a product launch for years. Such a pity though. One would suspect if you demo a product at NAMM, it will be available soon... but such is the industry I guess.
Gordon Tubbs so true I used to work for seeetwater sound. And there would be times where we would see product demos and then the product wouldn't come out or it would be years before it did. I liked rocktron products when I was a teen and haven't payed much attention to them in recent years, this line of pres would be really fun.
Actually, the major issues were production (quality control things) as well as getting the preamp safety approvals situated. However, the Plexi will be here - in our warehouse, ready for shipping - by the end of the month.
Where are these being made? At $799, I hope these are US built. Way too much money if these are built overseas in China.

I’m sorry but that was a horrible demonstration and if you already have a preamp like if you got a JC 8 hundred it’s got a marvelous preamp why would you want to buy one of those preamps
