I grew up on the big lake near us, every year April to Oct we were on the lake. It is still hands down my favorite memories. We had a big camper next to the lake with so many people around us, like a camper community, fishing, swimming, tubing, running with other kids. There would be like 10 boats tied up together in the middle of the lake, us running back and forth to other boats. Riding our bikes down the boat ramp, straight into the water. Disneyland could NEVER.
I love water sports and am glad you guys are enjoying the hot summer days with family and friends. I think it's very risky to surf with the baby though. So many things could go wrong, it's not worth the risks. Wait until she's older for the surfing.
Story is such an independent baby, she has no problem sleeping on her own, and that's just great.
Because her parents don't sleep with her. Babies aren't 'independent" they are taught. If you take them into your bed and years later want to change it they will freak. Story has healthy parents.
I am still shocked by the way Story behaves . It is in her genes. She is never grumpy or crying it is unbelievably amazing. You both parents are so blessed with Story.

Ive never been surfing or paddleboarding, but every summer we spend our time on the lake intertubing. Its a freaking blast yall! And my twins went for the first time at 18 months. They LOVED it. I was called every name in the book except a child of god for it too. But we kept going, having so much fun and making precious memories. If anybody knows anything about me its that id NEVER put my kids in danger knowingly. If i didnt feel 100% sure that i took every safety precaution then i wouldnt have put tgem in the tube. My dad, who would give his life for his omo omo, was druving the boat. So i KNEW hed never go at a dangerous pace. The point is this, as a momma who CLEARLY adores her miracle child that was literally prayed for and has been showered with love from the moment she was placed in her arms, im pretty sure Bella did the same thing i did when we took our first water adventures together. Shes giving her daughter a life that many dream of giving their children. Be happy for them, be thankful for a baby who was given the gift of a wonderful life. I, for one, am so thrilled to see people who live life to the fullest, enjoying their blessings. Dont bash them because you don't agree with things they do. Its not necessary and it is making the assumption that bella is a bad momma. Momma shaming is wrong esp when you can see the happiness in the babys personality.

Oh, I love this video. Thank you for taking us along. I saw a video on RUclips several years ago (Whitney Bjerken) where she dropped her iPhone in the lake and she ended up hiring a diver (I think it was winter) to retrieve it. She got her phone back, put it in rice and after it dried completely, it still worked. Just a thought, hiring a diver, to try to find your camera. ❤😊Story Belle is the cutest, happiest baby. You two are great parents. Everything happens for a reason, all the ups and downs you went through before Story, but you ended up adopting the best baby and the baby that was truly meant for you.❤
