- When you’ve ran over 100 Gallons of Fuel through your 1800hp setup in one weekend, you know you’ve testing the limits! Nth Moto is well known for absolute attention to detail and for making some pretty INSANE Twin Turbo Dodge Viper setups and this ACR is an excellent display of this. Two things about this Viper truly stand out, the fact that it’s a FULL Aero 6-Speed STREET CAR, and the fact that it’s pushing 200MPH with plain old pump E-85 fuel. You could see this car pull up next to you at a gas station, fill up, and drive away and never know that its low key pumping out 3x’s the factory power levels (or more!). The crew over at Nth Moto have time and time again made some impressive setups and we were super excited to run into them again at this WannaGoFast 1/2 Mile Shootout in Dallas, TX. Racing down the historic Hensley Airfield, this viper (and many others) turned an airstrip into a personal Autobahn!

Needs stiffer rear springs and/or more downforce in the front. Thing looked like it was going to take off like a plane.
It does that on purpose. It drags the diffuser on the ground to minimize drag.
its helping plant the rears maximizing the hp being thrown at it to the ground. The aborted runs looked like tire spin so it makes sense but that bitch is PLANTED to the ground.
@@unlisted9494at that front angle, the splitters might be contributing more on lift instead of downforce, might contribute to instability at those speeds.
It's got plenty of down force front and rear, it's just it's got 1k lbs or more of downforxe in the rear, and probably only 400 or less in the front

If they put more aggressive canards on the front itd keep the front wheels from lifting and probably reduce drag a lot. It looks like it wants to lift off and its just picking up a lot of drag that way
It's not just downforce. It's also the torque pushing the rear down. Floor it from a stop in almost any car and the car will squat down in the back..

Now the viper is pretty cool but we all know the V at 4:35 is the coolest, I may be partial though.
Oh boy.. I use to get this car on rfactor and tune-up a little, changing the specs on code etc, and he became a beast but continue easy to drive a play on track ... Now I'm seeing that in real life it's not so different haha the guys who code the physics of the viper to rfactor made a great job.. 🤔

2fastHarley you would be wrong. The standard viper topspeed is 30mph faster. All that aero is great for a race track. Bad for top speed runs
Doing this to an ACR is kind of dumb saying all the Aero slowing it down. A GTS would be loads better for this type of racing

More front downforce, control is super important at those speeds. I guess drag doesn’t hurt as much in the end when you are making more power than most of the competition
Why anyone would want a Corvette over those Gen5 Vipers is beyond me
Well price is mainly why and the Viper gets virtually NO publicity. If Dodge had advertised this thing properly and came out with the ACR/GTS series sooner, they might have sold more. I think Chevy sold more vettes last year than Dodge has sold Vipers since conception :/ sad to think about considering how over rated vettes are, unless you spend Viper money and get a ZR1 or something snazzy like that. Still rather have the Viper
T U because until you get to spending another 80 grand on building this motor to take 1800 horsepower the corvette is much faster and much easier to make power with. And then if you’re dropping 80 grand on a car that’s already 130+ at that point it won’t matter because you could build the corvette motor to that point too.
@ no the one reason more corvettes where sold over vipers was because you can buy a automatic corvette, you cant buy a automatic viper. There all manuals! There built for real drivers!
