Individuals and families who are leaving homeless or abuse shelters for low-income housing for the poor are often walking into a new situation with almost no personal belongings.
This is where Detroit-based charity Humble Designs steps in to fully furnish and transform their house into something that feels like a home, removing as many obstacles as possible to ensure these families can focus on rebuilding their future.

This is really beautiful! Do they also have a program that helps the mom pay for the new house - or is it already paid off? Does the mom have to have a job or a certain income to qualify for this or is there additional help? Congratulations on doing such great work!
Please tell me how/when this will be available in my area.
