The Empowerment Plan makes coats that double as sleeping bags for the homeless, but they didn't stop there. They also provide people who have struggled with homelessness with jobs they need to get back on their feet again.
After coming up with the idea for these coats and creating the operations for manufacturing them, Veronika Scott refused to stop there and took her efforts to fighting homelessness to another level - by employing the people she was aiming to help.

Yeah, this is a solution for homelessness - give the homeless something to allow them to remain homeless but, with style.

Approximately 70% of homeless people are men. What about them? Why are they excluded from these jobs and this shelter just because of their gender?

Feel free to start your own not-for-profit organization and employ homeless men from whatever shelter you want.
