Well it's strange, because my friend's daughter told me the other day she's 3 and a half, and we all laughed at how cute it is. And of course, when you have only been alive for 3 years, a half a year is a very long time, and quite a big deal. But it was refreshing to hear a man 99 years older still using the half 🙂

I really felt this. I'm 17 now, making plans for my life, wanting to chase money and success, being great and change the world, becoming important in a wider meaning. But when I see such things, when people who have already lived tell me what living really is like, I think I'm completely missing the point: I just want to be happy, and live a happy and fulfilling life. And when I'll be old I think it won't matter if I had been rich or if my life plans had gone right, I will only care about how I really lived my life. Thank you for sharing your stories, teaching us these life lessons. Should definitely talk more with my grandparents...

Brother, In this world everything needs money, money can save half of your problems...money can bring you happiness.....People with lot of money used to say this dialogues like 'Money is not everything' Ask to poor , they will tell you the things than money can do.
Er, the whole time I was watching it, it struck me that they all look quite well off, live in nice homes, in nice locations......so I think you should chase money and success in your younger years, or you won't be living like that once you're retired (unless you are coming into an inheritance at some point). I talked with my neighbor who was 97 years old. He was becoming incredibly frail and I would see him sit outside with his walker. I would join him whenever I saw him outside, and he would talk about his experiences in Poland and being a child prisoner, and his experience in the RAF as a radar operator during WW2, also how he came to the USA and started a family. That man really lived a life that I will never come close to experiencing. He passed away about this time last year and I was really glad that I sat and talked with him. We both share the same first name and heritage, I only knew him for about a year and I miss him.
You're very lucky to talk such a person who is 97years old !! If I would get a chance to talk to an old man I talk about ww2 and the war1 and life at that time !! Some people like Solomon Perel share a precious information about how life was a long back ago !!!
I agree! That was the best line and the complete truth. Why do we always feel like such failures when things don’t go exactly as planned. Everything happens for a reason. We may not know why at the time but if we don’t lose hope we can figure out why.

I'm 22 years old, and I know it's still early and young, but I've gotten advice from a ton of people that I have either grown up with or people I've met while working or just out and about. The biggest piece of advice I can give, is this: "As long as you give your heart to someone that needs it, you are doing good in the world. It may be small, but it makes a huge impact."
I'm 51 and use a cane occasionally because my leg gives out. Recently bought an electric scooter so that I may enjoy life. I'm not embarrassed by it anymore than one that uses a wheelchair for mobility. In my opinion you can complain about your physical disabilities or you can find a way to cope and enjoy life. Last I knew complaining about an issue solved nothing but actions do.
Arguably the biggest and most valuable lesson out of this video. I am 28 and the current generation is completely out of depth when it comes to problems in life. I hope I have the strength to follow his advice when bigger problems eventually come my way.
Hang in there bud. Everybody learns at a different pace. Don't focus on others and everyday just try to be better than you were yesterday, and as the old man suggested 'don't give up easily'. Good Luck!!!
I think it's not a matter of "too easily". We don't think about "too easily". It's tough for us too. But we just give up. If it doesn't work, we give up. Life is different now, different culture. Too many choices. Doesn't work? Try another thing.
Benevolent I am stubborn as they say. I don't really give up, and never feel like I should. But society has twisted the minds of a lot of women. Have fun, always have options, then if you persist there's a chance you'll look unattractive. Unfortunately I still don't give up. And am too forgiving. Society looks at me with pity but I refuse to change for this world. I'm happy this way, and playing games like that has never been me. I know I'll be good enough for somebody someday. do you believe in the resurrection of the dead and the kindom of heaven jesus christ promised us?
Well it's strange, because my friend's daughter told me the other day she's 3 and a half, and we all laughed at how cute it is. And of course, when you have only been alive for 3 years, a half a year is a very long time, and quite a big deal.
But it was refreshing to hear a man 99 years older still using the half 🙂
John was my Great Grandfather & he always loved introducing himself with "Hi, I'm John & I'm 104 years old" he really was a special man. I hope to live up to his life one day. We miss him greatly & seeing these comments warms my heart even after so many years. Thank you everyone ❤

Yeah, that's not patronizing and demeaning at all.
It's called adapting to the times and making the best of everything you can. People that don't adapt die younger. I wish my father and grandfather who were both tech junkies had lived to see the Internet.
That has a big USB port. So it's probably not an iPad. Though it is a tablet.

Nice. I’m 15, and I hope that, at the point of death (if I know I’m about to die, technically. Can’t say I won’t die without knowing I’m about to die, though) I want to have no regrets about my life.
Brother, In this world everything needs money, money can save half of your problems...money can bring you happiness.....People with lot of money used to say this dialogues like 'Money is not everything'
Ask to poor , they will tell you the things than money can do.
Er, the whole time I was watching it, it struck me that they all look quite well off, live in nice homes, in nice locations......so I think you should chase money and success in your younger years, or you won't be living like that once you're retired (unless you are coming into an inheritance at some point). And that is the reality.

The man with the iPad is so precious with his big smile “this is my internet” 😭❤️
He's laughter is infectious!! "Dear old me"
yes, grandpa is flexing his tech skills..:)
He has this mischievous look about ordering the pie. I died hahah so precious!!
The common factor they all have is the positive state of mind.
It doesn’t look forced, they seem genuinely happy
Fr bro. I guess it comes with the age.
@@RubenDelRosal For some yes, our bodies were made to be happy/positive. Negativity gives it a breeding ground for disease, which is why they lived so long.
I'd have a positive state of mind too if I got over 100 years of life! 😉
They are all grateful for the simple things of life. The thought of Shepherds pie made his face light up!!!
At 4:00 I loved the little "I was born at an early age." It slips right by you, but it really shows you that good cheer is what's necessary for a long life.

No parent wants to outlive their children. This mother who lost both her twins showed us grace and the wonderful enduring side of the human spirit. Bless her.
Clay Tall Stories The laugh though
Clay Tall Stories it was very painful to watch
My parents outlived my brother, that's just life
Leecicle ur 100% right
Clay Tall Stories hearing her share how she still responds openly to her memories and feelings toward her children is so touching.
He doesn’t even look like he’s 101. He must’ve been a healthy person and active back in the day .
Yeah,they still look young
90% of it is genes.
Most people who live long are always like that to be honest. Take Queen Elizabeth II for example. She's not a centenarian but she is 94 years old which is old for someone born at her time, but even so, she looks like in her early 70s or so thanks to her healthy lifestyle.
And he thinks and talks very clearly, amazing
He really looks only 60 years old
I always come back to watch this when I’m demotivated. Hearing all 3 off them speak just warms my heart. God bless everyone!
thanks! so happy to read your comment

"We did have problems but we got through them and I think nowadays people give up too easily "
That's because there was opportunity back then. Actual opportunity. Now, there are so many government regulations, and lies through media (COVID, lockdowns, etc.) that the whole world has gone nutty. People are absolute phonies nowadays, as well. No one wants to get out of their car. I wanted to set up a food truck on the busiest part of the road in the city; not one car stops to pass. I see others trying all of the time - but no one gets out of their car because they're scared that a "virus" is going to get them; meanwhile, they can't name one person who has died from this thing... It is either 5G, or IN the vaccine. THEN, we will possibly see numbers truly go up. Plus, who would even want to participate in a system that is so corrupt, right down to the bone... It is a sickening world, and the coward Luciferians are in control of every aspect of our lives right now.
@@StaalRulz2010 my father died because of the virus. There are millions more. Why do you keep your eyes closed?
Margaret Kaufman Even Alex Jones makes more sense than you. You’re just bitter that people care about their safety instead of stopping by your food truck. Just cause you don’t know a person that has died from the virus doesn’t mean that the people that have lost loved ones are bluffing. Do you truly believe that everyone is “blinded by the truth” and you’re the only enlightened one to see that it is truly the Luciferians that are mind controlling us? Stop relying on info wars and other similar sites for your information.
@@blacklungsanji3 I don't rely on that, brother. I pray that we are all protected from this evil. I do know the tests are very flawed & hospitals need money to stay afloat - so, what to do?
That's the whole point about marriage, it's just a reason to keep trying, to not give up so easily.
7:12 "I think nowadays people give up too easily". Never heard anything more true
Gabriella - let's give it a try lol
Ugh... 😔
Maybe true or maybe people put up with a lot mores shit and we are more confident not to settle nowadays
Very true

Man, those people are looking so good for their age. Seeing their smile in these times is also quite heartwarming.

I love how even though her husband has been dead for so long, she’s still wearing a ring ✨
Good spot.
thats love I guess, still exists
Or she’s married to a rich, gorgeous, sexy 25-year old stud...
@@SrJumbo LOL
Aaron Nguyen It would likely be the other way around if she has a sizable inheritance to leave behind. I don't see why a young, attractive, and wealthy person would marry a poor frail 103 year old. Sure, there are people with a granny fetish, but 103? She would need hip replacement surgery and months to recover if she had sex with someone that young...and probably a whole bottle of Vaseline. If she was rich, however, you could marry her for the inheritance and not even have to wait that long. Maybe a couple years tops. Also, she has no family to deal with in court over the will.
Damn it...why can't I be dishonest and immoral enough to be a gold digger? It would make life so much easier, but I don't have it in me. I guess I'll just have to stick with the 9-5 and hope I hit the lottery.

If you are constantly stressed and feeling down, that PHYSICALLY affects your health. Proven by science/doctors.
It's really crazy to think that our own thoughts can affect our body's overall health, but it really is true.
If you're happy, you're going to have both a happier life, and a physically healthier one (obviously within reason, you can't just eat junk food your whole life lol).
My grandfather is 93. I'm going to call him right now just to say hi.

Best video ever!!
this is beautiful.
"I wanted to marry a handsome man. a man with good manners. and I got both". 😭😭😭😭
There's a lot of handsome well mannered guys around. The problem is that females now a days are attracted to asshole guys that treat females like shit - sadly
C.J Power yea I know that :) I was just quoting that lovely lady. I just admired her words.
lola lovesyou I married a not so beautiful overweight woman with a hot temper and stubborn as hell. I sometimes regret my life. I think it is going to cut my life short. But I would never split up my family.
trkoby people like you are admired. Think about the positive in your life. It'll be better!
trkoby I could be wrong and don't mean to speak out of turn, but maybe some of her temperment & stubbornness stems from the fact that her husband sees her as a "not so beautiful overweight woman" as opposed to his lovely bride.
The comment section is so lovely for a change !!!
Giulia Marta Corti haha I was thinking the same thing :)
