Worked like a champ. After installing a Magnaflow competition exhaust system and k&n intake, my 2016 ran like shit! I changed out the spark plugs and high priced fuel system cleaner and it didn’t change the performance...but this 31 fuse pulled has my RT screaming. Thanks Bro!

Tried it about 5mths back and didnt notice any change... Tried it again last month while installing My New K&N C.A.I and left the Fuse Out for about 20mins this time, Popped it back in and MANnnnnnnnn What A BIG Difference! Definitely a Improvement in Performance this time around..!!! Thanks for the Info "HEMIFAM"
Pull both 29 and 31. Ones for the adaptives for the trans, and one is for the ECU fuel trims. The engine one can be done after major climate changes to let the car adjust for the best A/F for the current temps. The trans one will make the car feel better.
Step one, pull the fuse out while car is off. Step two, wait at least ten minutes. Step three, reinsert fuse. Step four, start car up and drive to see if performance gotten better. Are these instructions right.

Thanks brother!! I tried it and I think it helped out somewhat for my Challenger SP Shaker 6 Speed?? I've been stuck for months driving like MISS DAISY in the city, so the car started to really feel tired and it was pissing me off. I found this video by accident, so I tried it out on the weekend. Pulled the fuse, waited 30 mins, put the fuse back in and waited 30 mins and then went down the highway for a nice hour long drive, running the car at 160kph for 5 mins intervals 6-7 times and cruised it at 140kph for the rest of the time and she's awake now!!! But even before I hit the highway, it was definitely more responsive right out of the driveway, so it certainly did something to the car. My thought is that pulling the fuse does "wipe the slate" clean as far as your driving habits, for sure, so with that and rocketing down the highway for the better part of an hour, certainly taught the car some *new* driving habits, plus cleaned out some carbon. The car is definitely more happy now compared to being MISS DAISY from being stuck in the city for several weeks. Thanks Brother!!! Stay Safe!!
Oh my gosh I have a 2019 charger GT and I noticed the throttle response over time getting slower and slower I just did this right now and took it for a spin to McDonald's and it literally felt like a brand new car off the lot !it was insane I put it in sport mode and boi she takes off ! extremely helpful thanks HemiFam. Now how often will I have to do this and is there a way to keep it like fresh like this?
Subbed after the F&F reference. Going to try this on my 18 RT now that I've used all the crappy 87 octane the dealer put in and filled it with better gas. We'll see what happens!
did you experience engine light or anything negative?
It resets the adaptive driving setting. I've done it, I didn't notice a big difference. I did notice a difference with tuning though.

Should be able to reset all adaptive with a good scanner. Just in case anyone is concerned about pulling a fuse and breaking a nail 😄

Nope I only use the Tazer for light shows and line lock. :)

Nice will do. I pulled it out and car wouldnt start. Got that anti theft code. Then i put the fuse back in and now i got a CEL. Going to try out again tomorrow with more time. Thanks brother
JORGE JaP sounds like you tried to start the vehicle with the fuse out. Fuse should be removed and re installed with vehicle off. Your CEL will clear itself after a few on/off cycles though.

What is the fuse responsible for exactly. I find it hard to believe that Dodge was like "oh that fuse right there increases HP when removed".
It resets the components that adapt to your driving styles and accommodate them to get better fuel economy ect... pulling this fuse resets those computers giving your car an off the lot feel to it.
@Hemifam do you pull the fuse wait 10 minutes and put it back in or do you just remove the fuse totally?
@@Hemifam that computer knows how to tune that car way better that anyone. Resetting doesn't do anything but start the tuning process over and nothing else.

I forget the name of what the fuse powers but is is basically restarting your cars computer which adapts to your driving style to accommodate for better fuel milage ect.

I have a 13 challenger RT/plus and I dont have a fuse 31?
I'm at 25k miles and my trans feels sluggish as hell moving into gears, revs high in unnecessary conditions, seems to jump too.
I might try this, otherwise its going to the dealership.

Hemifam what up man. For some reason it didn't work with my car. I pulled the fuse. And a screen on the Uconnect popped up saying input anti-theft pin. The car wouldn't even start till I put the fuse back in. ??? I'm sure it was the right fuse.
FLA HEMI Oh man that sounds wild! The fuse pull should be done with he vehicle in the off position. Once 10 minutes is up replace fuse and you should be golden!

Car did feel a tiny bit different. Just went to the corner store real quik. Didn't really get on it or tried and test. Ill go for another spin and see what's up. 👍

Mine did that too once when I tried to start car with fuse out lol. Replace fuse and vehicle will start fine and CEL will go off after a few engine cycles. 🙂
Hemifam you think I can just clear the CEL with the Tazer? Bc I pulled it out & put it back in but the car wouldn’t start, I then realized I placed it in the wrong slot & now it’s in the correct place but CEL is on. :(

Ok so I just did the fuse pull on my ‘14 charger R/T awd an omg it made a world of difference!!! I took it out for about 20mins before putting it back in and taking it for a test run. The throttle response is a day and night difference, I recorded a 0-60 time of 4.9 after three runs and that’s a stock car running 88 in it and STP OCTANE BOOSTER. It was like waking a sleeping giant. Thanks for the video man!!!

I'm guessing this erases the learn and sets trims back to a default state. I'm also going to guess after 30-100 miles the effect will be gone as the car will have relearned how you drive and set the trims accordingly. Just a guess. I have a friend that has to do this on his highly modded srt caliber.

This particular caliber holds the title for fastest 1/4 mile trap speed in the us. I want to say the car is right around the 650hp range at the tires. It's a crazy car.

You MUST return the fuse or your car will not start or function. So after the 10 minutes is up just return the fuse and you're good to go. 💪🏼

Yes it will be the same fuse on your model just make sure the vehicle is off when you pull the fuse and remains off until the fuse has been replaced, you can then start the vehicle and will be good to go. 🙂
Your 6.4 feels sluggish? Mine scares the fuck out of me once in a while, had the radio up loud and couldn't hear what the engine and wheels were doing while merging onto the highway, the rear end broke free at about 70mph shifting from 3rd to 4th, didn't notice at first, till my nose was aiming at mid section of tractor trailer- let off the gas and the rear end settled down. Scared me (and every one around me im sure). My new rule is no loud music till 5th or 6th gear. What is this fuse for?

The car will actively learn and adapt from daily driving so the car will return to normal after a few engine cycles.

If you place the # 31 fuse in cavity # 32 it will activate the 2 spare cylinders to give you V8 power

Nope no check engine light you’re golden my man! The only time you will get a CEL is if you try and start the car with he fuse pulled but will eventually turn off after a few engine cycles.
