Unfortunately they don’t do discount codes anymore but they do discounts for military and first responders. you would have to contact them directly for that.
They've got great products, and have the burnbox on my Challenger SRT8. If you like doing alotta burnouts, it's a must and is one of the greatest innovations made in a long time. They make it so that you don't have to tap into the hydraulics anymore, and save the brakes from burning up as well. So there's a lot of pluses about them, and should be on every modern muscle car
Buggy toy good for dead batteries and messed up EVIC. AWD features are messed up and cause codes. It leaves dash lights on at times. Support will block you if you ask for help to much as well. Bad company to deal with.
@@WorkPlayDrive Thanks, I was initially happy with their help as they replaced it saying it was defective diode in it, but the new one is just as bad. A few others had issues with the AWD functions (setting codes) in it and they deleted the posts for some reason, not to mention the other issues (car going into limp mode) I mentioned myself and others have had. Seems if they can't figure it out it's not an official issue and they delete it!
Thanks this vid gave me just enough info (pic of the plug to see the clip and which way it has to move) to determine how to removed the plugs at the STAR connector.
Great video. Very informative. Do the srt pages improve the driving experience? For example, more aggressive shifts? I don't care too much about light shows.

Work Play Drive 2018 Daytona Charger 392. It’s definitely hooked up because it shows the tazer firmware, I have the marry and un marry but it doesn’t have the performance with the question mark when I toggle through so what’s going on ?
This is the worst purchase Ive made for my 2018 RT challenger. Don’t buy it. It broke my uconnect vehicle finder. It broke my windows, they don’t slide up and down like they are supposed to. None of the performance pages work. I was told by zautomotive to cancel my uconnect service. What?

I have a question if anyone can help. I own a 2018 Dodge Durango r/t, the instructions on the site state to install the security bypass under the glove compartment /passenger side however every video I watch it gets installed in the trunk ? I asked Z-Automotive and they directed me to this video. Just want to make sure I am capable of installing it myself prior to purchasing. Thank you in advance.
I removed the double bypass from my Challenger because I need to take it to the dealer for servicing and I accidentally broke the white connector and it’s stuck in the bus. I tried to use a vice grip to pull it out and I messed it up pretty bad. How can I get the connector out without causing any damage to the bus?
I left it connected all the time. You have to marry it to use the settings change features. But if you want to use the live features you don’t need to marry.
@@WorkPlayDrive which are the live features? I’m most interested in track mode. Like I want faster and harder shifts and louder exhaust. There is some conflicting info out there weather or not it does all that or not. I drove a 2020 sp and it felt way different to my 18. I want that track mode lol

I know you can just “unmarry” up front but i would hate to have a voided warranty. Thanks and I would greatly appreciate your feedback
Depends on the dealership. If you don't feel comfortable you can un-marry before each visit removed any traces of the tazer being installed. Again for them to void your warranty on a specific area they would need to prove the TaZer was the cause of that specific item breaking. Look up the "Magnuson Moss Warranty act"
Have you had any issues with dead battery? I left Tazer mounted in the trunk and battery was dead after one day. I might move fuse to switchable fuse for charge port in console.
James Orr No I’ve left my car for a few weeks while I’m away tazer plugged in with no issues. Make sure you have the latest firmware installed. There was a bug in the original release that caused it to stay on.
Work Play Drive mine stayed plugged in all the time with original obd port. Battery dies after moving to trunk is weird. I'll recharge and see if I did something weird lol. I'm also Puss n Boost but from my phone it changes user name??
If we remove the tazer will all the settings go back to normal because if we keep it to the car every time someone said it can kill the battery of the car ?
The TaZer has 2 types of features, the first is where you marry it to the car and change some settings, these settings like SRT mode, Sport on start, performance pages, etc. will remain when you remove the TaZer. The others are called Live features like Line Lock, Light Show, navigation in motion, etc. and require the TaZer to be plugged in for them to work. I've never had an an issue, my TaZer is always plugged in even when I travel for 2 - 3 weeks a month for work and when I get home my car starts right up without issue. Just make sure you have the latest firmware and if you have a 2018 you follow the radio reset procedure and you can leave it plugged in and not worry.

Nope the TaZer marries to a vehicle. If you make the changes and sell it the next person needs to pay an additional $50 to unlock the TaZer that’s married to your car. If you unmarry before selling it returns your car to stock. If you buy used you need to make sure the TaZer is unmarried.
that's not cool :/ what about the wiring colors? Green and yellow on mine have the White connector and Blue and White had the green connector. I hope that can help ;)
They did great at Z. They got back to me and told me that the Black goes to the white side and I also had a blue connector that goes to green side. I’m all hooked up and running great. Love the set up and feel on the Daytona 392 with the SRT set up now. Having trouble on getting the light show the way I want , but I’m not to concerned with that. Will get it set as I go. Once again thanks for the video and information.
My OCD would have turned the negative connecter by the battery to face downward. Would you uninstall all of this if you had to take your car to the dealer for service or warranty work ?
I have T/A "392". I'm thinking of getting a Diablo with a i tuner and purchasing a Jay Greene with a Fastman TB. Would this enhance the Jay Greene or would add an extra un-needed factor?

Hi, I have the tazer on my 2015 Scat Pack Shaker and I love it, now I can ride with my yellow light and small fog light. I changed my scat pack for a 2019 scat pack widwbody and I do not see the use of tazer .... I do not show light and I'm no fog light ...

In the directions shipped with the Tazer "in red", he saids, "the add-a-circuit block from the Double Bypass needs to be unplugged then plugged back in so the radio can reboot". I don't quite get this, do you know what he is talking about here? This "possibly" needs to be done when you make changes, he said. Page 3, v2.4.3-030918
After you install the tazer with the double bypass, if you have trouble getting settings to stick, for example the SRT pages don't enable then you will need to unplug then plug back in the "add a circuit" the part I install at 7:11 to reset the radio.
Lucky me with my 2018 This doesn’t look hard a bit of a pita compared to the old way. Will this process need to be undone every time before dealer visits?
I would say the dealer won't notice the double bypass if you move it away from the battery. I would still unplug the TaZer and reset to stock before visiting the dealer.

Does anyone in the group used this with a 2012 charger or 300 srt8? I would like to purchase this but is it worth it for the above mentioned vehicle? All the videos i have seen are mainly for R/T

Enable by pressing unlock, unlock, lock, unlock Cycle through the light shows by pressing the unlock button Pressing lock will disable If you want to enable the light show with the key fob then lock your vehicle, you can use the door handle button to lock the car without disabling the light show.

Did this to my 18 charger few weeks ago. So what I am wondering is when Diablo sport comes out with the unlocked pcm and tuner for the 2018 models will I have to still use the trunk location or will the unlocked pcm give me access to the default OBD-ll port.

Oh you wont believe this!! I bought a Hellcat burnbox and it failed recently and I have been back and forth with Z Automotive support and when i told them that i didn't buy it from them but from another re-seller, they told me it was NOT under warranty and I need to to PAY $41.05 to get a return repair service! What kind of crappy company is this? I am ripping out this, the double bypass and steering wheel buttons. I would not recommend this product to your viewers knowing how they treat their customers!
I’ve contacted support at 10pm and gotten a walkthrough on how to fix issues as have many other people I talk to. If you did purchase from one of their approved resellers let me know I will contact the owner and get you assistance. Fully prepared to get flak for this question, but I want to make sure I get this right the first time without complications down the road... Easy enough question: Do I need to disconnect the battery before installation?
Gonna pull the trigger on the '20 Challenger sp wb... would this mod void any sort of warranty? Is it best to wait until such warranties expire before doing these sort of mods? Thank you, I never had issues, but I also never took the car to the dealer during the 4 years I owned it. I got lucky and had no major issues and the ones I did have I fixed my self for content. ;) If I did to avoid any individual dealership issues I would remove when getting the car serviced. Regarding the warranty here is info from their site. Q: Will this void my warranty? A: Per the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (1975), a manufacturer can only deny a warranty claim when an aftermarket component is used if they can prove that the component caused the failure. Simply write down the settings that you used the Tazer to change, and change them back to their original values before service - it’ll be as if it was never used. As for “live” features such as light shows, line lock, full ESP disable, nav in motion, force video - use of those features can’t be detected.

does double tapping the mute button do anything? Give support a call most of the time they can help you get it back to normal. another option is to un-marry the tazer, let it go through the reset process then pull the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes. note after a battery is disconnected it takes a few minutes for the uConnect to connect to satellite and have some of the services start working. (this is normal)
Finally purchased my double bypass, great video, very helpful. For some reason the discount code did not work. Tried emailing them, so far no response.
Just got a 2019 R/T (Challenger)… I was pretty confident that R/T come with performance pages and the ability to see fastest 1/4 mile along with highest top speed but all I can see in my instrument cluster is my fastest 0-60 time, and nothing at all on my touch screen. I've driven over 500 miles too... (initially thought I'd have to 'unlock' these features). Do I need the Tazer or was my car supposed to have all this?

That being said on Dodge's website if you go to build a 2019 RT before adding a single package it shows that it comes standard with the 'super track pack' when you click 'view summary'.... but I do not have a Super Track Pack button or menu on my uConnect so either their website is wrong or my car somehow is missing things it should have :( I'm guessing I'll now need to get a Tazer huh.
In my 2019 scatpack challenger can the taxer add navigation my car has everything else except the light show which is cool but I don’t need it currently uses nav through apple CarPlay an flashes to the radio
Man this has got to be one of the cleanest tutorials on this Tazer! I just brought a 2018 Charger V6 sxt plus & debating whether or not this is a good buy? I hear it adds the accessories I already have like (easy exit, paddle switches, driving mode). I'm looking to get more power than it currently has & I was told this or the pedal commander would be a good 1st start? In ur opinion which would u recommend?

It will power other OBD2 devices. It’s like a 2nd port without the need for a splitter.

Yes for the scat pack the SRT pages and track mode on the automatic make for more aggressive throttle and shifts

Hi, I have the tazer on my 2015 Scat Pack Shaker and I love it, now I can ride with my yellow light and small fog light. I changed my scat pack for a 2019 scat pack widwbody and I do not see the use of tazer .... I do not show light and I'm no fog light ...

In the directions shipped with the Tazer "in red", he saids, "the add-a-circuit block from the Double Bypass needs to be unplugged then plugged back in so the radio can reboot". I don't quite get this, do you know what he is talking about here? This "possibly" needs to be done when you make changes, he said. Page 3, v2.4.3-030918
After you install the tazer with the double bypass, if you have trouble getting settings to stick, for example the SRT pages don't enable then you will need to unplug then plug back in the "add a circuit" the part I install at 7:11 to reset the radio.

This doesn’t look hard a bit of a pita compared to the old way. Will this process need to be undone every time before dealer visits?
I would say the dealer won't notice the double bypass if you move it away from the battery. I would still unplug the TaZer and reset to stock before visiting the dealer.
I’ll probably just remove it all together before any serious visit. I doubt they’ll be messing with the battery area for an oil change visit.

How do you activate light show from key fob?
Enable by pressing unlock, unlock, lock, unlock
Cycle through the light shows by pressing the unlock button
Pressing lock will disable
If you want to enable the light show with the key fob then lock your vehicle, you can use the door handle button to lock the car without disabling the light show.
Did you have any issues installing this? Seems I need to do this to replace my PCM and get a tuner. I’m really worried about installing this. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure about the older models from what I know the TaZer only unlocks what is native in the car.
New sub here and new to the 2018 challenger. Quick question, with this bypass can I install a tune from Diablo without having to have the pcm unlocked?
Nope this only bypasses the lock FCA out on the front ODBII port. Sadly you still need to unlock the PCM to get a tune.

Did this to my 18 charger few weeks ago. So what I am wondering is when Diablo sport comes out with the unlocked pcm and tuner for the 2018 models will I have to still use the trunk location or will the unlocked pcm give me access to the default OBD-ll port.
Still haven't wrapped my head around the infotainment security, I guess you'll find out soon ;)

Oh you wont believe this!! I bought a Hellcat burnbox and it failed recently and I have been back and forth with Z Automotive support and when i told them that i didn't buy it from them but from another re-seller, they told me it was NOT under warranty and I need to to PAY $41.05 to get a return repair service! What kind of crappy company is this? I am ripping out this, the double bypass and steering wheel buttons. I would not recommend this product to your viewers knowing how they treat their customers!
I’ve contacted support at 10pm and gotten a walkthrough on how to fix issues as have many other people I talk to.

Absolutely in fact, a lot of people use the double bypass so they can hide the tazer from the dealership and also use a tuner at the same time.

For safety yes it only takes about 20 seconds to pull the negative battery terminal ;)

I have a '13 RT Challenger so don't have to do this but I am thinking about a newer one. Does this make it so you don't have to buy an unlocked pcm?
No the PCM is not touched, you would still need to have it unlocked for a tuner. For pre 2018 this is a great way to add a second OBDII port
Gonna pull the trigger on the '20 Challenger sp wb... would this mod void any sort of warranty? Is it best to wait until such warranties expire before doing these sort of mods? Thank you, I never had issues, but I also never took the car to the dealer during the 4 years I owned it. I got lucky and had no major issues and the ones I did have I fixed my self for content. ;) If I did to avoid any individual dealership issues I would remove when getting the car serviced. Regarding the warranty here is info from their site.

component is used if they can prove that the component caused the failure. Simply write down the settings that you
used the Tazer to change, and change them back to their original values before service - it’ll be as if it was never used.
As for “live” features such as light shows, line lock, full ESP disable, nav in motion, force video - use of those features
can’t be detected.

Make sure the hot side of the fuse tap is on the correct side, Ive seen vehicle fires happen using those incorrect

THe Scat Pack bee isn't available if you have SRT mode enabled. THe bee is not included in the SRT factory theme :(

I have a 2015 scat pack and can't get this to work. The burnbox works when in the obd2 port but not in the double bypass that i hooked up.
It's possible the power is not connected correctly? If not I would contact Support.

I installed it and my TaZer they whipped my head unit. It back to the Factory blue screen. 🤨
does double tapping the mute button do anything? Give support a call most of the time they can help you get it back to normal. another option is to un-marry the tazer, let it go through the reset process then pull the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes. note after a battery is disconnected it takes a few minutes for the uConnect to connect to satellite and have some of the services start working. (this is normal)

Just got a 2019 R/T (Challenger)… I was pretty confident that R/T come with performance pages and the ability to see fastest 1/4 mile along with highest top speed but all I can see in my instrument cluster is my fastest 0-60 time, and nothing at all on my touch screen. I've driven over 500 miles too... (initially thought I'd have to 'unlock' these features). Do I need the Tazer or was my car supposed to have all this?
If you have the 8.4 uConnect and super track pack you will have the performance pages. This was on 2015-2018 pretty sure 2019 as well.
@@WorkPlayDrive I just have the 7.0 uconnect. That being said on Dodge's website if you go to build a 2019 RT before adding a single package it shows that it comes standard with the 'super track pack' when you click 'view summary'.... but I do not have a Super Track Pack button or menu on my uConnect so either their website is wrong or my car somehow is missing things it should have :( I'm guessing I'll now need to get a Tazer huh.
Just check with the zAutomotive guys for the 2019 features. Not sure if they posted it yet.
In my 2019 scatpack challenger can the taxer add navigation my car has everything else except the light show which is cool but I don’t need it currently uses nav through apple CarPlay an flashes to the radio
Man this has got to be one of the cleanest tutorials on this Tazer! I just brought a 2018 Charger V6 sxt plus & debating whether or not this is a good buy? I hear it adds the accessories I already have like (easy exit, paddle switches, driving mode). I'm looking to get more power than it currently has & I was told this or the pedal commander would be a good 1st start? In ur opinion which would u recommend?
