Great video👍👍 I've been collecting lots of vintage costume jewelry lately💎💎💎 From Estate sales and Flea Markets. Was worried about how to clean them. Glad I found you😉
Fine dental picks, the ones with the fine bristles are perfect for getting to all the tiny places - only about £1 for 7
Drooling over that garnet set!!
We haven't put it up for sale yet. Are you interested in it?
VERY possibly! Let's talk.
Thanks for the tutorial - I learned a lot and appreciate your time. I believe that a lot of the ickiness on vintage clip-ons is from hairspray. A Lady did not go anywhere without a spritz of spray. Subscribed too - thanks again!
This is great !! I always thought water soaks could damage rhinestone and stone backings and overall quality ??
It could only if the backings or foil is already chipped.
beautiful!
THANK YOU!!!
Thanks for the tips! :)
Thanks for this - I just inherited a giant box of costume jewelry - every last piece needs to be cleaned :(
I have read in many places to not submerge foil closed back stones as it can damage them...including the ultrasonic method. Is this still your preferred method of cleaning for them? Thanks!
I've never had issues with foil back stones, unless the foil is practically coming apart already.
that red stones set is beautiful 😱
Great Video :)
OMG those pair of earrings and ring... so gorgeous! How much did you get those for?
Also, shared to all of my social media sites!
Wow! Thank you very much!

What can you not put in a sonic cleaner
Can’t submerge when there’s fill back or glued stones, right?
Cost of cleaner system
If you dip the Q-Tip in the liquid, wouldn't the verdigris and crud come off easier? Also, wouldn't it be a good idea to rinse off the pieces in fresh water?
It would take much longer to use it that way, and verdigris would still be present. Better to use Q tip after treatment as all the crud has been loosened.
Bergen Pickers Ah, got it, thanks for the reply. Did you ever sell the garnet set?
@@veecee3669 Yes, it was sold quite some time ago.
Bergen Pickers Yes, I figured it was long gone. Thanks for getting back to me. Happy holidays!
@@veecee3669 Hope you enjoy your holidays as well!
The machine did something because the water is dirty.
Yeah, it cleaned the items in it via micro vibrations. Pretty neat.
A motto i adopted when learning to pick clothes for resale..."Im looking for profits, not projects."
Now a super high ticket item, sure, but average everday items, no time to waste cleaning and prepping that stuff, move on to a better item.
