Thank you for the fascinating information. I'm learning more to expand my knowledge of vintage fashion. Your jewelry is the perfect counterpoint to my vintage runway show on my page.
Great video. Well thought-out and presented. Extremely informative and the music was just the right volume so it did not distract from the narration. Thanks for this, I learned a lot and it has inspired me to learn more.
Thanks- i am an Australian jewllery designer and have some of the excess beads and findings from M.Haskell and i use them in my jewels now!!! really interesting- thanks x
Thank you for this most informative video. Ive been collection costume jewelry for over forty years, but Ive never really taken the time to find out about the designers of the jewelry. .
My best find was some years back; I picked up two brooches and a matching pair of earrings in sterling silver by George Jensen. I didnt know who he was at the time of the buy, but I knew the pieces were of good quality and I only paid $8.00 for all three pieces
I found a Vendome ring at an antique store for $5. I didn't know it was considered vintage til i looked up the brand, plus the guy at the store usually has very pricey prices for anything vintage, especially the jewelry.
I love ventage jewelry, and at the moment I'm taking all of the broken, found junk and not so great, but still pretty so they wont go to waste pieces and putting them together into a new funky collage style necklace or bracelet. I guess you could call them refurbished pieces.
I like even love all of them very very much - excellent, fabulous and not so expensive as real jewelry (Diamonds, Emeralds, etc) !!! *From America and Europe - Designer Costume Jewelry* I've opened a business line with exactly these jewelry items. 'Actresses 'Hollywood Jewelry' in films and private, models, women of presidents, business women and all other women and men wear them.
Glad after 15 years this video is here. Thank you.
Great video. No time wasting chit chat. Pure information. Thank you.
