I really enjoyed this one. A regular series with guest builders, and a breakdown of their set up would be an awesome idea. This thing was extreme, and far beyond any level I'll reach, but I still found it very entertaining, and informative. Great episode. Keep it up.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was something different and a little beyond our wheelhouse or comfort zone since we are not experts. But even I like watching it as it shows our learning and enthusiasm. Didn't even have to edit it. Our errors and laughs are all in there and it adds to the flavor.
I'm planning to build a custom Truggy using that Salinas transmission, NWSD chassis rails, and VP rockjock axles, this video was really useful, it goes directly to my favorites, thanks for sharing. You should show more custom projects like this
Thank you guys! Makes sense in this case just to direct power the servo, since it already has a regulator circuit built into it.......course the stand-alone bec market may take a small hit😎. Less failure points and weight too.
Cheater chassis are everyday questions on forums. This was a great forum and I was introduced to company's that I have not heard of before. I hope you are able to do more of these Nice job Francis and Vu

Thank you soo friggin much for making this video. It's hard to find a video on this type of build with running video AND a detailed commentary. This is why I subscribed to this/your channel almost a year ago!
Digging that bike influence on the wheel speed along with the flipped shocks. Details on details. Thank you guys on the non ferrous metals tip too. And thanks for sharing the rig guts. Lots of care went into this build. Dope.

@@rcvurooom8837 hey Vu, how and where did you get the post that mounts to the flatbed for rear cab of powerwagon body? Kinda stuck, any help would be appreciated.
Man that was awesome! I can relate to a few of these mods that paid off big on my wraith. Now I have a few more ideas 👌✌️ I really dig those little brushless motors.
Just came across the idea a couple days ago and tried it today. Why not Buy teflon spray from dupont and coat(or dip) the brass(or anything else) in teflon. Its easy to reapply and teflon has a lower coefficient of friction than any rc part materials.
Very nice video! Fresh, new and i learned something. I have posted negative reactions about your video's in the past because sometimes it is more of the same but this is a very good one! Love it.

There are a bunch of great LCG chassis out there, but few come with the chassis designed for cantilever rear suspension like ClassiCutCustoms. Just one more improvement for cg that is built right into their chassis ; )
@@tiny_the_200 oh yeah i had a cantilever setup in my first trx4 sport and i hated it a pain to tune i went back to stock setup and performs better but now i have a different trx4 lcg setup

Hi Guys. this is Josh from Tech Factory Racing. Thanks for Plugging my wheels. You said you have a online store or physical shop? Contact me if you would like to add some of my products to your store. I have wholesale pricing available for retailers
@RC Review There are a few chassis specifically designed around the TRX4 Portal axles. Brazin Scale ATL (All Time Low), North West Scale Designs (NWSD) Scattergun (however, they just released a newer one today that looks very well thought out!), TGH Sherpa, (edit: add the GMRC 2Timer to the list). What’s the wheelbase on this rig? 12.3”? 12.5”? Also, with the heavy emphasis of weight down low and forward, why not do a servo on axle compared to CMS where the servo sits higher mounted on the chassis. Great video and awesome build. Please post more build videos like these in the future. 👍
Really love this video and keep going back to it. Very informative and as somebody new to crawling, I learned a lot. Maybe you would consider doing a build series, where we can actually see how a custom rig is built from scratch? Thanks for your great work on these videos!
Hoping you can help, i am trying to follow this build exactly. I purchased the Salinas Design ODT V1, it's skid plate/motor mount is 84mm wide. The Team Garage Hack dual servo mount is only 67mm wide. I contacted GSpeed and they said "You can use those parts together but will need to use spacers so the difference in the spacers and skid plate is not more than 11mm" I have a 17mm difference. In the video i see he is running 70mm chassis brace, so he must have a much narrower skid plate than i received from salinas design. Any advice you can give on where i have gone wrong would be greatly appreciated.

All these TVP chassis style rigs are throw backs to the OG comp crawler rigs from the past they kinda sit between the past and the current C channel chassis scale rigs. It’s awesome but not my cup of tea I still prefer to keep the looks of realistic class 1 & 2 i.e. scale looking overall vs all out performance (I know that’s subjective considering what some 1:1 rigs look like) I’ve done the whole comp rig thing before and Scale is just where I’m at now.

You want it to be slick buy some skateboard wax. They used to use it for rail slides. It’s not wax but some compound.
Any soft metal can be clear coated will slide better
Great rig Sir, question about your front shocks, since they're leaning backwards I'm guessing you have positive caster ?? Thank you !!
The hex is not rotational? The hex is attached to the axle and sit inside the rim and turns or is there a different hex you’re speaking of?
How do you meet the C2 bed requirements with that rig? Or does your group not worry about them?
Almost impossible to find a set of klrs in any compound 😔

what about the rear body mount 4 the dodge?
Does he have something inside the shock likens spring it doesn't extend much
Coat the brass and surfaces with graphite if you wanted them slick.
Am I the only one still running 2 cells still?... Like the added power is nice, but I don’t find a need for it much on the trails....
