i dont got a gpeed but i go a trx4 low cg stock chassis and my buddy had a gspeed and we took them to rock city and both trucks where pulling extreme lines awsome rig man
I run a SCX10.2 chassis with AR44 straight axles with Rock Pirates RC shock mounts with 90mm Desert Lizard shocks in full droop. Transmission is a Axial 3 gear with Hobbywing Fusion 1200kv with 11 tooth pinion. I also use the 46 Power Wagon body.
Nothing says it better than your facial expressions in the shop with the rig in front of you 😂 you're the reason I bought the axe system hahaha. Great rig this thing is boss .
Learning lots from your video's. Got into rc cars at beginning of lock down with a group of freinds and started off with 1/10 bashers then tried 1/8 bashers and some of the boys tried the speed runners like infraction. Now we all converted over the crawlers and enjoying it way more. At the moment are group has 2 trx4 defenders a haboa DC1 and a Abisma khamba.
I wanted a g-speed build until people started calling them cheater rigs. Currently I have an element enduro running trx4 portals with the 1tenth servo on axle mount and shock keys front and rear. It's very low and follows 2 of my buddies g speed builds. Think I'm going to stick with this set up for fun
Very nice build! Currently running a scx10 ii base, carbon fiber replacement rails, capra axles, 90mm external reservoir shocks from xtra speed, 2.2 rover white dots, vanquish dig unit, dx3 radio trx sport body (cut and heavily bobbed) and a handful of custom built parts. I used brass tubing and sheets to make shock mounts and a front bumper, custom stainless links with a long wheelbase to match the axial gladiator wheelbase. So far I'm impressed as I've mainly been a comp guy. Big fan of the 2.2sportsman class. Carrying some of that knowledge and couple of "cheater" tricks over to this full frame chassis has made a heck of a machine that looks freakin rad too. Also in the process of rebuilding it with new axle housings and I'm currently switching my power system over to a hobbywing fusion. Mamba x with the slate 2850kv was great until trying to find a good forward spot to mount it. So we'll see how that goes. It's not quite a belly dragger due to the 2.2 tires and portal axles putting my ride up higher than I initially thought. However, compared to my other local guys that have tried 2.2's it's not even in the same ball park. My truck stomps most of the guys I run with, of course with a few exceptions. One of my best homies and his pops both keep up and make me look dumb occasionally haha! All in good fun though! Spurs the friendly competition on.
Great Rig Frances, looks awesome & performs even better!! , I have one almost identical to yours but with different axles & I have another GS- TGH V3 Chassis kit I'm fixing to start another build with...... . Love your Rig fantastic job & as always quality production from RC Review!!
Finally! Nice buddy hanging with the big boys!😂 I just finished my gspeed carbon v3 a week ago and it is Frickn Awesome! I won’t buy an rtr again. Great rig buddy!
just built my first cheater. and haven't ran it yet. but I think it's going to be amazing. running a sw4 with 2200kv revolver 500shv with a vp 3gear with hurtz dig.
Great video but I can’t let you do the hyrax like that those are some of the best tires you can buy if not the best They’re just not as scale as people like
You may find that when you’re under pressure and you have a lot of wheel speed like that it becomes more difficult to control. Just to try it out I suggest you limit your throttle for a couple of runs to half of what you have (forward). I’m running a 1800kv on 4s with a 9 tooth pinion and 56 tooth spur(32p). I never feel like I don’t have enough wheel speed and my reverse is is only around 60%. That said it’s only if you actually use your “comp rig” to “comp”😅
You should boatside it to get more clearance on the body. You should also put predators on the rear... all that money is not worth much if your not getting maximum grip from your tyres
Highly doubt it, it's custom category $$$, they couldn't justify the means vs the cost. that's why we build them custom ourselves .. if such a rig was made in RTR fashion you can expect to replace about everything on it, the cheapy electronics motors esc, servo's, shocks, transmission, tires etc so it wouldnt serve its purpose ya know, if they actually built a rig that somone might like it would run upwards & beyong a thousand dollars easily & they couldn't sell enough to make it worth there time. RTR vehicles definitely have there place tho & are very good to draw people into the world of RC 👍🏼💯
where'd you find the ar45p kit? You didn't list a source for the axles and I can't seem to find anything online apart from housings and conversion kits.
I'm working on a Redcatracing short course truck with a cordless drill transmission gear reduction that has selectable gear ratios. With 5inch tall monster truck type wheels and tires. I'm looking for a unique body to put on it. And get some other small ends figured out. I'm thinking of removing the springs altogether to get a low cg righ max suspension drop when going over certain objects.
I’m curious on the height of goal height from ground to the belly/skid u like to run. I’m run around 2.5inches but it seems others Iv seen n comp there setting around 2inches from ground to the belly/tranny brace
This is pretty awesome!! Any plans to review the new Enduro Sendero HD? I’m thinking that’s the rtr crawler for me, but hoping to get your opinion on it. Awesome content and reviews. Appreciate it.
Just got my gspeed pakage in the mail. Still waiting on parts but looking forwards to the build!! What can i say, your videos inspired me man! Is that a brushed motor? Also how many turns did you go for? Thanks!
No that's not Brushed,... You definitely want to go brushless if you can afford it. I have a few GS-TGH V3 LCG rigs & brushless is the way to go!! He's running a Holmes Hobbies 2200kv V2 Stubby w/ a Castle Mamba X or Mamba Micro esc 👍🏼💯😁
@@ConditionZero76 im running a 13t holmes hobbies brushed.. im liking it.. arnt the brushless motors really loud? Prob not the best for Sunday driving...
What transmission did you go with? I want to install a 2 speed in my GSpeed build. I was looking at the SSD RC 2 speed. I have a TRX-4 and love that 2 speed. And suggestions? Thanks!
Awesome build! For us noobs can you do a video on the shock setup and maybe include ever part needed down to the screws? I feel like a lot of puzzle pieces are still missing from the equation. Love the channel! Keep up the awesome work!
How can you talk up hyrax all year long. Then you pull your comp rig out. And now remember these are just some hyrax tires like there not the best tire that you keep on saying
Hey all so now 4 months latter is there anything you'd chance with any new update parts. I've got a capra and a sxc10.2 and I wanna build a G-speed lcg belly dragger. I'm in Australia and there not that common here yet but I wanna do it haha I've got a yellow jacket 1500 and a sw4 esc. So whats the go? Cheers Jay
I think this is the most enjoyable and beautiful video I’ve seen about crawlers.
I’m in love with your rig!

Great video.....best performance I've seen in your stuff!
You should do a review of the negative g Rc chassis. Very nice.
Try a rock pirates Rc interceptor, even better than g speed
Those look like Dravtech shocks... anyhoo, very nice build sir!
Nice build, I'm seriously considering building a lcg for myself... that's one lovely rig, great job... john

Sick build. Nice way to spend 1,400+ bucks.

Why bother to put a "super cool" swivel body mount on a lexan body and its so fragile that you can't even let it go?
What was total build cost??
