I feel if rock pirates would put out a builders kit where you only have to get wheels , electronics, and body man that would be a hot seller. I want to get into one these but don't feel like starting from frame.
I’m running a brazin hilow chassis on Capra axles, using the Capra cage for body, it’s all chopped up, HH 1800kv stubby motor, HH crawlmaster mini v2 esc, dlux portal trans, nsdrc 700 direct power servo, on 4s battery. Such a fun capable truck!
Great video as always! I currently have a full Rock Pirates RC Interceptor PowerWagon with Capra Axles. All the RPRC goodies powered by a HH snub revolver 2500kv and V2 esc. It is a BEAST! Climbs up everything!
My scx10 iii frame support is stopping my from going lower on my "Belly Dragger" Still has not seen dirt, only office carpet,so shiny in purple and chrome... Snow,mud....got a $800 tag on it at my local hobby shop,SO SHINEY!! I just CANT get it dirty, ill build another....
My Capra Dig Dug is a fatty coming in at 7.2lbs 4WS with an Axe FOC R1, it's got some nice Grunt and that FOC'n modulation. It also has an LSX model engine where the fuel cell usually is so it's not really tuned for comp. You can find me on Instagram with same handle ✌
I'm doing a "hybrid" with my rbr/c tube chassis with wpl parts. Fronts gonna have less flex then the rear. All metal parts and brass in the front and all plastic parts and no brass in the rear
Building my 1st LCG with GroundFox aluminum Rail with a VS4-10 builders bundle, VFD twin and for now a Copperhead 10 and Castle slate 1406. I am thinking of getting the Furitek ESC and Motor to test before I decide what I am using. I even have a HW option with an AXE FOC, but I was thinking of a trying to stay with a lighter build, but a lot will depend on testing. This will be my class 3 for Rocky Mountain Regional. Still need to decide what I am going to run for axles want to setup 4WS, I have a Capra I could borrow from, or run a VS4-10 front axle ? Not even sure if you can run a Pan hard in the rear and still have a good crawler. I have a lot of learning to do by June. thanks for all the videos !
Hey Francis, Knights Ferry guy here. Great video, as always. Still waiting to see you up there. How much overdrive does that rig have?? I finished mine in Sept, and just put 33% overdrive in the front capra portal…not sure that I like that, gonna tuned that back a bit. I have 25% and just ordered 12.5%. Stock capra universals are cogging when turned at extreme angles though. Seems like front wheels start cogging at about 35-40% steering angle. Gonna try incision VDI universals next. Have you experienced this on stock front Capra axles??
It's sad that the big companies want to out do the small man yet they do a chassis that is expensive and expect everyone to buy it , especially when the small man does his product better,I would rather support the small man than a greedy company any time,I have 4 lcg crawlers my gatekeeper which I have turned into an lcg just from it's kit with upgrades which works really well 3 geisha racing chassis 2 geisha chassis and one psycho cage, they all work really well and as I continue to tune the they only just get better each run
Any lcg built up from the smaller companies will end up being twice as much as the new scx10 pro skid. And the scx10 pro has been secretly winning sorrca comps for the last year.
Thanks for the excellent video. Would you mind explaining what is going on with your front shock mounts, please? It looks like you have additional parts and I'm wondering what they are. Best wishes.

I'm running a brazin ATL pro V2 rtr at 4.5lbs with lexan cab and styrene bed. Imo I believe 4.5-6lb is an optimal weight range to shoot for.
Can't wait till I can afford a high end 1/10 crawler but I'm happy with 1/18 as I'm just getting into the hobby
Respect
I got the pro my local hobby shop received 1and I was 1st on the list....im so so happy 😊
My enduro ecto is my favorite.. like it more than my trx4
Good choice!
@@RCReviewChannel thank you sir
Thanks to your video, my injora lcg uses the furitek lizard ten, what a great esc.

Back then we used to think heavy rigs were the way to go but nowadays its more light weight more capable.
Yes, and I really think it's regional and dependent where folks crawl.
Light weight is way more capable but much much harder to tune
Frances. That no coil spring on the rear shocks looks pretty interesting. Will try that on one of my GSpeed rigs. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, It's definitely working. Sometimes, the tires don't reach down and grab a rock for traction so that's one downside.
I want to buy and assemble this prokit. LCG is released as a kit!!! It's amazing.👍👍👍
Looks promising for sure.
Great to see you out with the lcg rig! Way too fun.
My first attempt at crawling was the Axial SCX24. My rig is a belly dragger, and goes places the 1/10 guys can't believe.
Now I want a 1/10 rig
I love my Capra G-Shot. Just about 4.5 pounds.

Like I just commented on another channel...I'm more of a basher...but I can appreciate anything that is controlled by remote.... ✌🏼🤠
I always felt the same.
Until I bought a crawler. It’s actually a ton of fun, and I don’t break anything before the battery dies!

Looks like just the forward motor mount in between the shock mounts.
@@jasonbecker4997 ok cool, thanks mate
What and amazing build👍
Informative! Good work!
Glad it was helpful!
Brazin Scale 😏
My SCX10 Pro will be here tomorrow. When will you be building yours?
Oh man, my Amain estimated delivery date currently says April 20. Geez.
@@RCReviewChannel 4/20 gonna be a good day
Which Hitec servo did you use?
It’s sad when a global corporation is out manufactured by a small time consumer operation. Do these corporations not like money?
Sad?
I think it's awesome.
Any time a corporation gets kicked in the nuts is a day to celebrate.
All about profit margins , the products they discontinued still sell as much as smaller companies.. pro crawling very niche hobby .
Small operation everyday! :)
Global corporations already have the monopoly on so many things.
Are you using a bec on this? I'm at a crossroad on if I want direct power or bec.
What wight shock oil are you using
Direct power is much easier imo.
I don't think it's easier at all with extra wiring. But... it's definitely more power.
Agreed. I use xt30s Worth it to me saves 50 for a bec
