Just bought the Sand Scorcher. I'm 56. I had one when I was a kid and loved it. You don't stop having fun because you get old. You get old because you stop having fun.
Well said. At 49 I’m still having a blast. I Autocross a C5 Z06 and am obviously looking at this RC car video. Plenty of other hobbies keeping my mind and body as youthful as can be.
It was 1982. I was 9 years old and I had saved up enough money raking the neighbors' leaves and mowing their lawns to purchase the Tamiya Rough Rider. I spent at least a week building it and painting the body. Putting the decals and lights all in the right spots. I had never spent that much time on a body before as I was not really into model making, but I did love RC cars and I thought this thing would look so cool. -- It's all done and while I know it's for the dirt I just wanted to do a couple quick passes on my street before my dad came home to drive me somewhere I could really use it.-- I got a little too excited and gunned it on the last run. It rolled about 87,000 times ... or at least it seemed the way to my 9 year old brain. What were once perfectly aligned decals, smooth paint and beautifully mounted lights ... were all shaved off, broken or torn. I remember even one of the "driver roll bars" snapped. -- Boy did I learn a lesson that day. I've yet to ever invest more than minutes on painting a body since. -- Loved the video ... but it was also triggering. :)
You know, it might be old, but it`s a recipe that has worked for them since the 70`s and 80`s, an example is the Hornet, my first hobby grade RC car, it was a fun entry level RC 40 years ago, and it`s a fun entry level RC today, Tamiya has been a beloved brand in RC for a LONG time, and I suspect they will continue to be just that for a long time to come ;) I still have a list of at least 10 Tamiya cars I still want, not because they`re better than Arrma or any of the other extreme bashers, but because they`re quirky and fun. Also, no force on heaven or earth will ever make me buy "HPIjustbrokefornoreason and come with front axles too short and the spur gear held in place by soft plastic fastened by machine screws in soft plastic (moronic design) like the RS3 sport Flux that`s broken out of the box and literally cannot be fixed because the motor is stuck to the motor mount and the motor mount has pre-stripped hex screws that either just rotate or are completely stuck" Literal garbage. Or Trash`ass ever again, where you`re better off buying a chassis and ALL the rest as upgrade parts from other companies. Who sells a 3-400 dollar RC car with a powerful brushless motor and PLASTIC axles smh, JUST to sell new axles is why.. Tamiya might be oldfashioned, but it`s dependable and fun, and that`s better than extreme performance for 5 minutes in many people`s minds.
Great video. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. My first "real" RC car was a Tamiya Hornet that I saved up for when I was 14... almost 40 years ago! Awesome to see Tamiya still making quality kits that you need to assemble.
That driver is the same one I got with my 1983 Racing Buggy Sand Scorcher and it used hex drive fasteners, all aluminum suspension and oil-filled shocks as well. Its still running today. From what you say it would seem Tamiya are getting back to their roots. Best hobby I ever had.
@@mcdiskett2003nope all sand scorcher sand SRB chassis were metal .only plastic sort of bit was the chassis plates which was like pcb board and oil shocks .the clear electrics box and cage around the motor were plastic too .
Tip for doing the snap rings I've always used, I pull out a clear plastic bag that's large enough for the part, tool and my hands and do the assembly inside the bag. Then on the off chance it "pings" and shoots off it will almost definitely end up inside the bag instead of lost in the void. I do this for anything I'm building/assembling that is small and has a part under tension like a spring, snap ring, etc. Works a treat and has saved my butt many times for just the cost of a ziploc gallon freezer bag. This buggy reminds me of the Grasshopper I had when I was a kid nearly forty years ago, I might have to order one of these!
Really good to see a Tamiya kit that is up-to-date with Hex hardware, decent shocks and bearings! Makes them much better value for such small changes. Hopefully it's a sign of them waking up to the fact that relying on Nostalgia for sales isn't good long-term. Tamiya have felt like a sleeping giant for a very long time now, if they can produce more kits to this type of standard (and better) then they can easily lead the market for quality scale cars. Leave the big stuff to the others and focus on their core strengths. A decent carpet racer, crawler and Touring car chassis to this level would be mint.
Honestly i would be ok with minimal elecs too. But ya chassis and body would keep cost down to make it more noticable on the market. They make a type R for 150 that is pretty nice. But it doesnt have body or elecs and gears
I have several Tamiya models, they are the Tamiya Hornet, Tamiya Super Hornet, Tamiya Grasshopper, Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle. I replaced all of the nylon bearings with steel bearings, added RS-540 enginges to all of the above models and the speed, handling and overall smoothness of the ride is incredible. Next thing I want to do is swap most of the brushed RS-540 engines for either Traxxas 550 engines or brushless and the speed controllers, so I can run LiPo batteries.
@@keeganlong8073the TBLE speed controllers included in the new Tamiya kits I bought handles both brushed and brushless, as well as NiMH and Lipo. Lunchbox and Pajero for example. Ball bearings is a must, as you write. When I was a kid I made brass bearings in the lathe as I could not afford ball bearings. 😊
I've never owned a Tamiya (but always wanted one as a kid!) and I'd been looking at this for a while. Watching this video pushed me over the edge I've just bought one (on eBay from a German seller but looks legit). Can't wait to make some free time and build this kit!
So..today is my 40th birthday.. and 30 years later I still remember my cousins Tamiya RC that looked identical to this one in blue.!! That thing was so good and handled anything in front of it ..many good memories from then. I have yet to get a legitimate RC car..I'd love one of these for sure.!!
This video is the heart and soul of the hobby for people like me, who's first good RC was a Tamiya kit. It's not breaking speed records or flying to the moon (yet) but It's genuine fun to drive around.
Wish they still made the Rough Rider. My dad had that car when I was around 4 years old and I still remember the incredible excitement when he let me drive it. Years later he gave it to me when I was old enough (around 8) to not wreck it right away. I still remember that clear plastic body.
Great video. My first Tamiya kit was an XR311 from early 80's which was a 3 day build and used to break torsion bars for fun. Later had a Holiday Buggy, still in loft I think. Then got 8nto boats and amphibians. Watching this made me want to revisit my youth although always enjoyed the build and painting them as much as running it. 👍
I'm absolutely not a Tamiya fan, but this is the first time I've seen something by them I've really wanted. Absolutely think you chose the right green for it and rate the green roof!
I never really watch build montages on RUclips, they’re boring and I’ve just seen too many but I actually happily watched this one. I liked how you edited it
Thanks tomley I’ve built this with my 6yo he got it for his birthday and it took us 3 months to do together around my work and his school. Has lots of power and I crash it more than he does. He chose red and number 95 as a tribute to his favourite movie character! I wasn’t sure the colour combo would work with the decals but it looks great!
Great to see you building a Tamiya again, Phil! I could tell from your voice that you really, really like this one! Love the paint choice, I think you nailed it! So pleased you didn't crash it on the first run, it really is a beauty and too good to smash up. I think you might be right about it being the best in 40 years, although (apart from the looks) the TD4 is on the same level in terms of plastics, hardware and design. Love the way mine drives. Looking forward to see where you go with this one, mate. Enjoy! 😎😎👍👍
Cheers Mark. It was such a nice build… not to complicated, but complex enough to get some pleasure out of finishing it. Loved driving it… but the dear old British weather, and a trip away with family cut my driving time down. Looking forward to getting it out on the sand!
@@TomleyRC Sounds great, Phil, both the build and the drive. Hope to be able to get one when funds allow. I know what you mean about the weather, where did our summer go?!?!?! Hope you get chance to get it out again soon for at least 3 minutes (and so does your wife!!) 🤣🤣👍👍
I owned a Wild Willy, and my mate got a Hornet and a SuperChamp in the eighties.Glad to see Tamiya still releasing such nice models like this one in 2023 !
Took mine out for its' first run today too - like you I had also built the diff too loose and was losing power, so you're not alone! You also get a "proper" servo saver with this kit, usually Tamiya make you buy the part separately and give you some dodgy plastic setup from the 80s - not here. I thoroughly enjoyed building mine and I'm glad to see someone else who struggled cutting out that awkward bodyshell!
Tamiya has always been number 1 in my opinion.. the fun of painting the drivers, the hop ups available, the cars just have character that you don’t forget. I will always remember by Tamiya hornet, had a dozen cars from other manufacturers that are quicker in all respects but I can’t remember what they were…
My local shop has one of these in stock but I need to see your speed run videos before I pull the trigger. I know that each build is different depending on electronics but I happen to have that same exact setup that I took out of my trashed speed run car and was thinking of putting it in there. I just want to see how it preforms before I buy another esc motor combo. Or maybe I will get something different to put it in if the buggy doesn't preform well. I know it is an off road buggy but everyone likes a bit of speed now and then lol. Keep up the good work. I love you videos and you actually got me into RC! I am 40 so I have a bit of learning to do but your channel has helped out a lot. Cheers!
Thanks for showing. This car's a beauty. The proportions a great and it looks bigger than their other buggies. One tging I don't understand is the decision to the trailing arms at the rear suspension. Some short course trucks, have them too, I know. But this is a buggy and those arms were out even in the last 80s.
I remember buying a Tamiya Vanquish in November 1989 with my first months salary. Upgraded the bearings and a one up from stock motor and zoom round the empty carpark on a Sunday morning. Quick charging like crazy off the old Volvo 340 car battery. Great days!
@@polbecca Yes I added an electronic speed controller (one with reverse, yes I know heresy) but didn't get round to the carbon fibre chassis mod. That was a bit expensive.
@@jabezhane The carbon chassis parts were very expensive back then, so I copied the shape and made my own version out of fibreglass. I put the good aluminium shocks on it, and full bearings, and I think I had a mid-90s Tekin speed controller. I can't remember if I put a Kyosho or Trinity modified motor in it but it was a good bit quicker than stock! Suspension was better controlled but the travel was still rubbish though. 🙂
I think i've picked a very good time to begin getting into Tamiya kits. It all started with the announcement of their new MB-01 chassis and the Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR kit.
Great Build Phil, Looks the Biz & runs so well with that copperhead set up ! Very tempted, could see how happy you were throughout the whole build, says it all really mate & yes i agree, most certainly the best Tamiya kit for a very long time ! Keep up your great work mate, always look forward to your new release videos. stay safe my friend 🤜🏼🤛🏼
hey phil you should check out the tamiya xv01! its imo the best 1/10 on road chassis ever made. its an AWD, front motor, sealed belt driven rally car. theres no other chassis out there that handles quite like it. upgrade the front suspension blocks to aluminum and the chassis is pretty much bulletproof.
Absolutely wonderful. What better way to forget all your problems than just building a tamiya bbx? Sometimes, you just need to switch off. l am glad you have featured this one l have ordered one bro bbx 😊 ❤Thankyou.
im impressed that tamiya had hex hardware on a non-comp model, very surprising as normally theyre expensive featureless pisstakes unless youre trying to go for vintage nostalgia. great video!
Video editing has been massively improved with the insertion of the music!it should be the default!❤ (Buggy is nice but Kyosho scorpion is a better alternative) the color scheme is really snazzy in this Tamiya
Very nice build!! I built a Tamiya Racing Fighter, DT-03 chassis with oil shocks, bearings, brushless motor 3300kv, 19T pinion. Lots of fun, great handling buggy, I put on some all terrain wheels and tires on it. I like how smooth it drives 😍💪
I am not a hobbyist, but saw your thumbnail and watched the vid. You are really good at camera shots and editing! I watched the entire video and it makes me want to get an RC car, lol! Also, I put together a Tamiya "Grasshopper" back in 1986 when I graduated high school. I had a ton of fun with it. Upgraded motor, battery, gears, etc. Great starter RC back then. This one you just built is such a cool upgrade to the 80's version! Thanks for the great content!
Thanks David. I think this video is attracting a fair few people who used to have Tamiyas back in the 80's.... It shows that the guys at Tamiya did a good job of making this a modern buggy, but with that classic look we all remember :)
Wow! They finally make a retro-style RC kit with bearings, hex hardware and alloy oil shocks, capable of handling modern electronics (like their competition has been doing for years!)....Still don't want one. Sorry Tamiya fans, no second prize 😴 Great vid though Tomley, glad it put a smile on your face 👍
My first RC car was a Tamiya Grasshopper purchased way back in 1985.. At the time it was incredible and yet so very basic.. this looks like it would be a great way to get back into Tamiya...
I built an Associated RC10L in 1990. Had a hell of a time forcing one of the bolts through. When I'd finished, there was one little bag with a screw and a note saying: "Yeah, we cocked up instruction blah blah blah, use this bolt instead." Read through the instructions and get familiar with all the bits before you start.
Very nice Phil. A modern, non reproduction buggy from Tamiya? Makes me wonder if All the old engineers finally retired and now have new engineers born in the 90’s and y2k running the show now. Tamiya fans, put on your seatbelts, we are leaping 30+ into the future!🚀
Great review as always. loved what you did with it. It looks really balanced on all those little jumps. Really nimble and nice landings. This is the first time I've seen someone put a decent motor esc combo in it. Nice to see it work so smoothly. Very very good.
I can't wait to watch this video... but my BBX arrived last week and I want to build my own first! I think the most exciting thing for me (as an old fart) is that it's a new buggy, styled with all the heritage of the old tamiya buggies. For me it's like the spiritual successor to my old Rough Rider and Falcon, but not as crap to drive.
Love it Mr Tomley sir, very very nice. I am an old school Tamiya man and I love to see them on your channel. Also, nice to see we have another gentlemen that appreciates the finer points of new tires. Us tire sniffers must unite lol! Be mate, great vid. Thanks for it. Be well. BR

Oh man I only just today brought myself a Tamiya Fox and a Tamiya LUNCHBOX. Now I'm gonna have to buy myself a BBX 01 myself.👍 Looks awesome to Phil.👌💪
Looks good in the green, wish i had gone with my rothmans style now, but lost the love with all the delays. But have to agree, its the best tamiya have done in a while 👍
Amazing video, loved the building, music, slow motion shots. One of the best videos I've seen from you in awhile! 😎. The wife joke alone made me like the video 😂
My first Tammy was the the Super Champ. I built it and used to run it around my Uncle's pub back garden when I was visiting my Nan and Grandad. My cousin saw me driving it around and my Uncle bought a second hand Tammy and asked me to sort it out. I rebuilt the chassis and suspension and then bought a couple of poly body shells and painted one for mine and one for my cousin. My cousin managed to run his buggy into a wall and smashed it into pieces. A regular at my Uncle's pub worked for RIKO, the importer of all things Tammy in the UK. He got my cousin a HotShot and my Uncle asked me to build it for my cousin. He also introduced me to the gentleman who worked at RIKO. He gave me a load of swag for me building the car. I had a Tammy cap, loads of spares and best of all, the official Tammy car carrying bag. I was 19 then and my attentions turned to other thing like fast cars and pubs. I have no idea what happened to the HotShot but I sold my Super Champ to my mechanic. That car was ace in the snow. I put full size wheel and tyres on it and it was a drifter before I'd ever heard of drifting.
Bro just found your channel few weeks ago and you are spot on with 97% of what you say! Few things we disagree but we agree on far more! Great channel ,great content and you have a new subscriber!
Cheers dude, appreciate it. There's certainly some pretentious people out there... I'm just a normal guy enjoying the hobby, if someone doesn't agree with me then that's perfectly fine... although often people will shout that I'm wrong, but then never give any reasoning lol.
Great video! I've been anxiously awaiting mine for some time but I got an email yesterday saying it's on its way to me.😊 It seems better then I thought it would be.
Reminds me a lot of the Wild One. A buggy I got in 1985. I got a Frog for my 12th Birthday in 1984. Used to race them in the early '90s when they were both considered obsolete. Would still have that Wild One but I sold it because of complaining from my father. "Why do you need TWO radio controlled cars?" Said the man who owned two houses and a farm. - I now have another original Wild One that I bought off the Bay of e about 15 years ago.
Really fancy getting one of these. Looks a great build and a nice to drive buggy. The gearing is a surprise, I was expecting that to be ballistic with a 7700kV motor even on 2S, but it looks pretty much the same as my DT03 with a 4000kV Hobbywing setup!
There's something awesome about any Tamiya build, and that came out so nice (you've got me at it now!!). There's also something about 2wd Tamiya cars. Wicked. 😎👍🏻
Cool looking car and seems like it can perform too. Hopefully the aftermarket will give us some shiny aluminum parts! Definitely gonna pick this one up as my brushless Wild One breaks something every time I drive it. 👍

Cheers!
Wow this took me back to one that I made with my Dad about 40 years ago! Thanks for the nostalgia. Great video, that looks a great buggy.
Thanks for showing. This car's a beauty. The proportions a great and it looks bigger than their other buggies. One tging I don't understand is the decision to the trailing arms at the rear suspension. Some short course trucks, have them too, I know. But this is a buggy and those arms were out even in the last 80s.
Yes, it’s slightly longer than the SRBs by the looks of it
I remember buying a Tamiya Vanquish in November 1989 with my first months salary. Upgraded the bearings and a one up from stock motor and zoom round the empty carpark on a Sunday morning. Quick charging like crazy off the old Volvo 340 car battery. Great days!
The Vanquish was a good buggy. I upgraded mine a few times in the vein of the Egress and still have it in my attic.
I had several Tamiya buggies in the 80's.. great fun .. this looks really good too
I think i've picked a very good time to begin getting into Tamiya kits. It all started with the announcement of their new MB-01 chassis and the Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR kit.
I have wanted one of these since I saw it online. I’m a vintage Kyosho guy, but this will be my first Tamiya.
You said, what a great car Tamiya built, you built it brother Tamiya just designed it.
Beautiful!!!!!!!
Great Build Phil, Looks the Biz & runs so well with that copperhead set up !
Very tempted, could see how happy you were throughout the whole build, says it all really mate & yes i agree, most certainly the best Tamiya kit for a very long time !
Keep up your great work mate, always look forward to your new release videos.
stay safe my friend
🤜🏼🤛🏼
Thanks mate… appreciate it 🤘
hey phil you should check out the tamiya xv01! its imo the best 1/10 on road chassis ever made. its an AWD, front motor, sealed belt driven rally car. theres no other chassis out there that handles quite like it. upgrade the front suspension blocks to aluminum and the chassis is pretty much bulletproof.
Always loved the look of the old school buggies.
Me too
What a great buggy. Most videos don't make me want to go out and buy the product but this video for sure made me want one lol.
Very nice looking buggy, reminds me a lot of the old Rough Rider
Absolutely wonderful. What better way to forget all your problems than just building a tamiya bbx? Sometimes, you just need to switch off. l am glad you have featured this one l have ordered one bro bbx 😊 ❤Thankyou.
im impressed that tamiya had hex hardware on a non-comp model, very surprising as normally theyre expensive featureless pisstakes unless youre trying to go for vintage nostalgia. great video!
Video editing has been massively improved with the insertion of the music!it should be the default!❤
(Buggy is nice but Kyosho scorpion is a better alternative) the color scheme is really snazzy in this Tamiya
Thanks mate. I spent a little more time on this to make sure the video flowed well
I ordered myself one in late June was told end of July .. which it’s still not here but excited about it .. Thank you for the build and run
That was a rewarding build for you and for me to watch. Very relaxing video. Job well done. Cheers from Pittsburgh!
Thanks mate. Appreciate it
@@TomleyRC You're welcome
Beautiful buggy. Props to Tamiya!
That green. It is the pefect clour for this build 🤩
The DT-03 is really nice chassis. Simple... but works well
@@TomleyRC Agreed 💯👍thanks
You have reminded me why I fell out of love with RC cars & that is that they break every time you take them out! 💚🇬🇧🌱
My associated rig is the only thing I own that doesn’t do that
I am not a hobbyist, but saw your thumbnail and watched the vid.
I want one really badly, that thing looks so awesome.
Wow! They finally make a retro-style RC kit with bearings, hex hardware and alloy oil shocks, capable of handling modern electronics (like their competition has been doing for years!)....Still don't want one.
Sorry Tamiya fans, no second prize 😴
Great vid though Tomley, glad it put a smile on your face 👍
Yes… was a good fun build 👌
Love the chalk paint on the tires, looks incredible
I have the same esc installed in my Tamiya Super Avante. Tight fit as well.
Yeah, it's a little bigger than the average ESC
My first RC car was a Tamiya Grasshopper purchased way back in 1985.. At the time it was incredible and yet so very basic.. this looks like it would be a great way to get back into Tamiya...
I built an Associated RC10L in 1990. Had a hell of a time forcing one of the bolts through. When I'd finished, there was one little bag with a screw and a note saying: "Yeah, we cocked up instruction blah blah blah, use this bolt instead."
Read through the instructions and get familiar with all the bits before you start.
Yeah it looks like an old Tamiya but it's all new. Love it. You did a great job on that Phil 👍👍👍
Yes… bit like a Resto Mod
80s-90s Nostalgia at it's finest. Tamiya name brings back fond memories 6:38 .
Excellent job Phil love the colour choice mate! Tamiya hit the nail on the head with this release!
Thanks mate… and yeah, they did good
Very nice Phil. A modern, non reproduction buggy from Tamiya? Makes me wonder if All the old engineers finally retired and now have new engineers born in the 90’s and y2k running the show now. Tamiya fans, put on your seatbelts, we are leaping 30+ into the future!🚀
Yeah and those old engineers took all their philips screwdrivers back home 😊
Yes maybe haha… let’s see what the next year or 2 brings us!
@@TomleyRC sounds good😝👍🏻
Great review as always. loved what you did with it. It looks really balanced on all those little jumps. Really nimble and nice landings. This is the first time I've seen someone put a decent motor esc combo in it. Nice to see it work so smoothly. Very very good.
I just ordered one from Modelsport :D. Bit of a wait now but I don't mind. Something to look forward to :)
What a freaking beautiful buggy, Phil! Looks fantastic indeed! 😃
Great ride and review!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks mate. Really enjoyed the build
Wow, that is a really nice looking car. Enjoyed the build as well.
Cheers mate
Slow mo drop with plinky plonky music needs to be a regular trademark feature. Great vid.
That's a real RC Kicks quality build right there mate! Looks amazing!!!
Be well. BR
Cheers mate. Maybe we need a Tyre Sniffer Association or something 😅
@@TomleyRC If you form the TSA, Tire Sniffers Anonymous. I will be your first member. Of course we will need a gang sign so I think we should look to Monty Python's the Ministry of Silly Walks for inspiration.
Haha… maybe I should make a T-Shirt
Another good Build, and excellent editing Tom!!
Cheers dude
I'm going to the Tamiya factory for a tour next month... cannot WAIT lol. Great looking buggy, might have to grab one of those.
But have to agree, its the best tamiya have done in a while 👍
Yeah, I think maybe a slightly brighter Green would have been better. But either way looks good
@@TomleyRC ford mean green 👍 not sure what ps paint is the same 😎 that would look good
Still have fond memories of building my Tamiya Wild One back in the day, looks wise they are not too dissimilar.
I wish they would make all rc vehicle's in a kit like they use to. To me thats part of the fun of the hobby.
This just popped up on my feed. No idea why it did, but I loved it.
Man, I miss my Terra Scorcher
Awesome build. Love the colour choice. (Grasshopper Vibes)
Can't wait to see the speed runs !
Great.. a Tomley video before the race starts. Enjoy the race Phil, have a good one.
I’ll have to catch the highlights… I’m out with family today
Amazing video, loved the building, music, slow motion shots. One of the best videos I've seen from you in awhile! 😎. The wife joke alone made me like the video 😂
With a quickness 😂
Thanks dude… and yeah, had to add that in 😅
awesome build tom mate love a tamiya my step dad got me into tamiya back in the day
awesome rcs
love the build mate
Yeah, they are one of the companies a lot of people remember from back in the day
Massive scissors! They just caught my eye, great vid, I've been waiting to see how the BBX rolls out 👍
My first Tammy was the the Super Champ.
Love it. I remember building and painting my Tamiya Hornet in the 80's as a kid. Still in the loft somewhere!!!
Nice throwback from Tamiya too, with the same red-orange-yellow decal stripes that the Hornet had.
Dang, been looking for a Tamiya to build, looks like this will be it! Thanks for the review
It’s a good retro ‘modern’ RC Buggy
Definitely looks great and love the colour you painted it. Great video!
you drove that car like a pro, loved the long drift in the dirt. Nice!!!
I use to own a Tamiya Frog and Hornet. I enjoyed it back in my high school years.
Sweet build Phil! Very well done, the green really pops!
I've been anxiously awaiting mine for some time but I got an email yesterday saying it's on its way to me.😊
It seems better then I thought it would be.
Yes!... you'll enjoy the build I'm sure
That green theme is horn. I love it. Matches the motor.
Reminds me a lot of the Wild One. A buggy I got in 1985.
I got a Frog for my 12th Birthday in 1984.
Used to race them in the early '90s when they were both considered obsolete.
Would still have that Wild One but I sold it because of complaining from my father. "Why do you need TWO radio controlled cars?"
Said the man who owned two houses and a farm.
- I now have another original Wild One that I bought off the Bay of e about 15 years ago.
Haha love it. !!
I’d love a Wild One… never had one (yet)
Green painting is so great !
nicely built! and definitely the best 2WD Tamiya buggy for a long time.
That Green is Money with the motor and old school decals. Great build Phil.
Yeah, it worked well 👌
Really fancy getting one of these.
