Matt Tharp here. Just wanted to say I’m proud of Gabe!! I remember the day the slammed body came about. Horseman’s ranch at a X4 event. Started with a Proline racing Toyota body. It was practice day before the X4 and the body was causing a high center of gravity the Hyrax’s were fairly new to competition at that time and I went home that night with the mindset that the body needed to be slammed to allow the SCX10ii kit to hug tight down low. The competition was strong with the lcg chassis then and Gabe was presenting his rails in pure badassery. I showed up comp day last to run 1.9 class and if you were watching Matthew Ottman’s live stream you know how well the slammed body worked. This was many years ago and still remember that day. Awesome to see how far the hobby has progressed with crawlers🤘🏼.
Grate job Gabe in your explanation of GSpeed products and the way you make your rigs so competitive in your quest for the top its so hard to talk i depth on the trail when we are out so this was great for me to get inside your head Peace bro 🙏
Only discovered G-speed today after someone else shared pics of their LCG chassis...(new to this side / this level of RC)....thanks for sorting this interview...not everyone has the head honcho not only show their stuff, but actually share their ideas, hints and tips....the one thing I found was re the steering angle....I’m sure some do this, but maybe some don’t....coming from a non-pro drift RC back ground, I know many in pro/competition Drift RC do a C-hub mod where (depending on the type of c hub) they cut a small chunk out to get a better steering angle.....made me think, a great way to over come an issue is sometimes to check out what other types genres are doing re customisations and mods and have a bit of a crossover. Top video and thanks so much to both for this very insightful interview.
Loving all the LCG content Francis. I've just got into "cheater rigs"... because of your channel and am loving it. I'm in then middle of building my first Gspeed rig and all of this info is fantastic. Really enjoying Gabe's products and the community generally... everyone is so helpful... shame I live in Australia as I have to buy everything from the US. Keep up the great work.
i love low-cg but portals make me sad. id like to see a servo rod to move the servo horn away from servo, that way i could run the servo in a different location. tend to run a 5000 mah battery and going for long trail runs and really seeing how far i can go on one battery. love a how to set up a backyard/ living room for crawling video. keep these videos coming.
@@themountain59 thanks, i already have a powerhd 25kg in my enduro build. Its not very old and already started to fail, getting weak and not wanting to turn.

@@GSPEEDCHASSIS hey thanks!! Those are my fav shocks as you can see in my videos, but thats not what your running. I see dual rate springs and after watching the whole video you said there ottsix. Can't wait to try them on my cheater, the drav shocks are the worst thing out imo I can't keep oil in them. Great video thanks for sharing!

Same here mate, Qld.. shipping in stuff not only takes time but you need to wait for a few things rather than the 1 part needed.
Cheers👍
Chile here... 6 weeks waiting 🤦🏽♂️
Congratulations Gabriel 🎊 🍾 I bought my first Gspeed about 6 months ago and now I have 5. Great 👍 products from a genuinely awesome 😎 guy!!!
Awesome! 😎💥💥💥🏁
Team G-Speed has outstanding shipping and customer service. Excellent interview. Thanks!
Gabe is one the best most passionate people in the hobby.. Thank You.For taking us all to the top GABE..
This is the crawler to end all crawlers. Total End Game product. I will own one some day.
I love my gspeed rig sooo much, it's an awesome system. When you got it tuned right and know how to use it, it's almost unstoppable.
😎👍
All good ideas with foams and rear shocks.
I need some 2 stage shocks so can have the some preload on front for climbing or side hilling
Good to see the designer of my Gspeed. Love mine. I have both the steel and graphite version
Thank you for the support!
Nice interview. I didn’t know that such small adjustments can have such a big effect.
Yes sir. More tuning info to come!
Love my Gspeed rig, the let down is the AR45s panhard mount. I suggest bowhouse for their reinforcement bracket.
GSPEED Chassis has a panhard support brace that may be on the market soon😎
@@GSPEEDCHASSIS NICE! The more the merrier! Axial really dropped the ball on that particular part of the axles.
Gabe is the man!!!👍 As well as you Francis!!!🤘👍👍👍👊

much love to the both of you from Santa Cruz
Can't wait going to do a trx4 axle based build.
i did the trx4 its a beast
Kudos Gabe to following your passion!!!
Thank you!

Awesome bro!
@@GSPEEDCHASSIS Quick question Gabe. Why do most pinch the chassis front and rear? 67mm
@@dragonflyjoyride This creates a more stiff and responsive chassis and also allows more room for your shocks when axles are fully articulated
@@GSPEEDCHASSIS thank you Gabe!
I love my gspeed v3 build. Just need to get a reefs 555 to finish

That ascent is nuts! Your next rig should be called Oreamnos
So cool. I will be getting in touch with him eventually!
Sounds good, thank you!
That is some sensitive information, very nice review! Thank you !
Awesome video! I think I'm gonna try that shock tuning tips myself! Any advice on link angle set up to adjust anti dive or anti squat?

Great Vid Gabe!!!

You're welcome!
Awesome video man! You got links on the foams he mentioned?
Best video yet
Thanks bro
Where can I find a complete set of AR45 portal axels?
What shocks were those?
Was any modifications needed to fit a Kratos in and What softer springs did you use for the front. Thanks!
I have two GSpeed frames. I have about six rock crawlers and pit one against the other on my back yard corse. Both GSpeed rigs dominate the others.
I was very surprised with those shocks. I’ve never seen anything like that.
Yes, definitely winners.
What $250 or below crawler would you recommend to a beginner getting into the rc crawler world?
How do you build Gspeed
Piece together what you want on the rails, find the group on Facebook for a lot of different ideas.

Lol team driver🥱🤫✌👊
What spur and pinion size do you run?
I'm building the same setup TY
what to do to get such an inversion? more, please
You planning on building something to further enhance trx4’s performance?
Haven't leaned in that direction due to all the current amazing GSPEED TGH-V3 Chassis rigs built with trx4 axles.
@@GSPEEDCHASSIS keep it up mate, you’re doing a great job

What servo horn is that? That chassis has the lay down servo mount?

Do these parts fit on a trx4 sport?
Not designed for the trx4, but many builders adapt the trx4 axles to the GSPEED TGH-V3 Chassis
the down voters only have CC01 :D
