Another sweet build! Just a tad too light for me. They don't move the same when they are that light and I like to see at least a little bit of tire deformation.
Im assemblying a set of the SSD Diamods with metal tubes f&r, alum Chubs and SSD brass knuckles for a LCG Belly dragger. Lots like the Gspeed. there are a few decent options, but may seem to be based around capra portals. Not sure I want to do the SSD Protals, not that I'v adverse to it. but it would be 250 out the door for the portal kit and metal tubes for the portal (unless the stock metal tubes work which they might then its only the kit at 190.). thinking of using the SSD Scale tranny and new od transfer case to add 20% to the front. have the OD gears in the diffs, (both) and can drop the stock gears in the rear and go up to about 32% OD up front. Or put the stock gears up front and drop to about 12% OD up front. OR get the VP underdrive and go to a 5% up front od, or a 43% if put in the rear axle. Loots of good options but its all gear based." Portal gears can be swapped for od or ud as well. Which is good thinking on SSDs part. Rig looks like it does really well.
Why? Why not add more dense weight around axke or st hubs(,center of wheel and somewhere low and centered in a sphere on the chassis? And i m3anndense as in tungsten. Not brass. Less rotational inertia to deal with and better more practice location of COM..

It was a waterfall feature gone awry. Shortly after they built it ( about 200 yards long) they realized how much water it consumed. And that we live in the California desert. So they shut off the water. Probably decades ago.
Squeezing the chassis rails in, to meet the narrow spacers creates a more rigid frame. Also the narrower spacers creates more room outside of the rails for the shocks.
How can the sidewinder possibly be smoother than the micro x? The esc only controls the voltage and the motor pulls current based off the demands at given voltage levels. This is why your servo test the current rating went up with the voltage used. The sidewinder would have to have higher throttle resolution in order to possibly be smoother. On my mamba monster x the esc resolution allows me to give increments of 0.016v using a single throttle curve point at 50% throttle = 20% power. My puller pro standard 2700kv needs to hit 0.066v to even rotate... which unloaded would equate to 178rpm. With load it will have an even lower rpm. This is called confirmation bias. Someone hears a rumor, that rumor creates bias, and when the individual sees any difference between the two observed samples they attribute that difference to the rumor. Strait from castle, the esc cannot control the amount of current drawn by the motor, which is why you need really good batteries for high power motors because motors like my puller pro r 4100kv, which draws 160amps in my trx6, will suck the life out of lower quality batteries. And when that happens it puts a lot of stress on the esc and can fry it...
I have run both the Sidewinder Micro 2 and the Mamba Micro X and have replaced all of my Sidewinders with Micro Xs. The Micro X is a much smoother ESC than the Micro 2. I've used both on brushed and brushless motors and the Micro X has much better throttle resolution.

That is false information! When the first GSPEED Chassis was designed and I was accused of copying BPC, both BPC chassis and the V1 GSPEED, on Facebook to the public, both were placed on a Hobbico cutting mat showing measurements, proving that the rails were different. It's very unfortunate that false rumors like this are carried on by hearsay.
GSPEED Chassis well I got a v3 on the way so no matter. Between Francis and Bill Deras recommendations for your chassis, that was enough for me. Just need to figure out what transmission I need.🤔

Do you have one for the Vanquish Currie Rock Jocks for the scx10ii?

Nice rig but sometimes I think lighter is not always better. Low cg is great, don't get me wrong. I would but on some heavier wheels.

This mountain bike has an assist motor and a trailer. I literally can get to a crawling spot 10 miles away and 3000 feet high. And enjoy the journey.

Can u do one with the negative g chassis
With that trans set up can he run a dig unit ?? My wroncho with AR 60's and a servo winch is about 6 lbs.
I do not think so. Links to this transmission is in the description now. There's a version with overdrive and one without.
Did he change bullet plugs on sidewinder?
These trucks are incredible but they aren't very scale. How can they be Cat 1?
What carbon fiber wheels are those?
Awesome builds! But the motor sounds is driving me nuts! 🙄

Can you please tell me what size of OTTSIX drive shafts were used on the build? I’m currently converting a Axial 10.2 to G SPEED chassis.
What kind of foams are they
What kind of E-Bike is that? How much and where can I buy one? Thanks!
It's a Fezzari and it's a ful-on big mountain ebike. Available here for $3600 www.fezzari.com/wirepeak
What body style is it, look like Powerwagon?
I have almost the same rig but I have the micro x
Please tell me you using ESC&motor
Sorry I'm Japanese.so my English is not better.
Hi.I would really like to build a lcg chassis kit. but i am a noob. don't know what is going where
How wide are the frame spacers and is there much flex in the frame?
Recommended frame spacer length is 67mm or 70mm.
@@GSPEEDCHASSIS
Why do they go for a that wide chassis?
Is there any remarkable performance difference to narrower chassis?
Squeezing the chassis rails in, to meet the narrow spacers creates a more rigid frame. Also the narrower spacers creates more room outside of the rails for the shocks.

What pinion goes well with the yellowjacket motor? I have the 1500kv and the pinion noise is louder than the motor itself.
Not sure. We did check the pinion mesh and it is dialed. The motor is only loud during startup.
