Your patience is paying off in a big way! It looks fantastic!
Thank you sir!
how did you comment 4 days ago. Or is this a glitch on my end?
@@fastasaflash1929 I would guess patreon supporter as they get earlier access?
It looks good but why do the floor before you paint?
Not only does the shop look fantastic, I bet the landlord is excited too 🤣 this is going to look incredible by the time you're done
Thank you! I'm super excited to get all moved in and setup!
@@_Gingium_ you should ask the landlord over when its done and maybe ask for a free month of rent?
@@matsnijhuis3311 yh fr i think he should get somthn for free
lmaoo was thinking the same thing
Some landlords will discount improvements to property, within reason. This obviously adds value so why wouldn’t they
This is what separates Gingium from other RUclipsrs. Instead of just paying someone to do it he does everything himself👌🏻🔥
Agreed. I’ve seen 3 or 4 garage “builds” this year and no one did it on their own. Mad respect for this.
Taylor ray is legit building a whole ass new garage
@@kylebaker652 Taylor ray is another one who does his own shit. And Jimmy Oakes
@@kylebaker652 Jimmy Oakes is the goat. Underrated. Don’t really watch Taylor Ray
@@tylajonsie Jimmy’s the man, he built that dope loft
When Gingium pulled up the tape at the garage entrance I was like, "hell yeah." The floor is awesome, you did great work. Can't wait to see it it full of cars and equipment
Please stop spamming.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so entertained by literally watching paint dry!!
Have you looked into having the landlord split the cost of all the renovations with you. I mean you are improving his property drastically. This might be a stretch but worth a shot imo.
Wouldn't be unheard of to reach a deal, even if it's just something like skipping a month of rent to move in as a favour for doing the work. Depends on your landlord and the general situation there of course.
Would definitely go for this. Both parties come out happy!
If you watch the previous video someone made this comment and he responded.
Yeah, at least like a month free rent or something…
It won't look new when the lease is up. The landlord won't benefit from this at all in the future.
Your lady is the serious VIP of this operation. Good to find one that supports fully your vision. Hats off to you two. Beautiful job
Lady? I thought it was his sister. They look related.
I love how Audrey helps and isn't completely useless or in competent. I love having a girl around vibing and doing what im doing. Around here though girls just wanna sit on there phone or go inside. Love the duo you guys make
It's really satisfying watching something old and used being transformed into something beautiful and useful. Great work Ging!
Yep especially since most places like this are just being sold of, being destroyed and having appartments built on it or something.
@@alexc6025 Sadly the truth.
HECK YES 1k patrons. FREAKING AWESOME. Cannot wait to see the shop and the lights. Great stuff brother keep getting after it
Heck yeah man!
Caleb’s cinematic shots are unmatched, they are always top notch. Proper good camera skills
Gingium's gotta be the best person to rent stuff out to. Straight up increasing this shop's value
Brrooooo it looks so good!! Great to see you and Audrey working together on this project. I'm sure she helps a lot BTS too in other videos. Btw how are your neighbors? Are they chill?
Thank you! Yes the neighbors are awesome!

@@_Gingium_ Your partner doesn't get enough recognition. I hope your bond only gets stronger with time, like wine.
I love my wife, but I know for a fact she wouldn't go through something like this with me. I do know though that she would make sure I have an amazing meal and bakery waiting for me after a hard day of work though. While she's not much of a garage buddy, she definitely would make any professional chef lick his fingers and ask for seconds. I guess that makes up for it. Anyways. You're blessed to have a partner that you have and she's put enough elbow grease in this project to be recognized for it. Keep the bond tight forever!
Dude that looks Great! Awesome job my only recommendation is to put a sealer on it so it holds up when you roll that pallet jack over the floor with the tire machine. I can’t wait to see what color you go with for those rust red beams. Lighting will be awesome after paint it will almost look like a studio.
Yea definitely seal those beautiful floors
Thats what the top coat is for
I remember watching this Channel years ago, with the drift truck and miata. Thanks for your patience and perseverance all this time. The dream is coming true 🤘
please paint the walls medium grey or even darker. it will look much better with good lightning than a white wall. more friendly and warm and will also blend objects better to the background.
Great work! Looks amazing! One tip tho is to work top down ceiling then walls then floors, so you don't have to worry as much about drips or scratching the fresh floor. Also may want to consider doing grey paint on the bottom 4 feet, to keep grease stains less noticeable. Gonna be great either way!
I knew redoing the epoxy would look good, but I really didn’t expect this much improvement! Looks like a brand new place. I’m real excited for the content you make in this shop, garagium is gonna be sick!
looking great, just a suggestion, maybe do a dark color 3-4 ft on the wall to hide dirt a little more. good luck.
Geez your landlord has got to be happy with this upgrade. Looks amazing.
LOL the way you matched the music to the shoe squeaks. Looks really awesome and I think you did the proper work to make sure it lasts! I need to do this to my garage eventually, so cool to see you go through the steps.
Eyyy. I follow you on tiktok haha.
@@cyrywise9932 Much appreciated! Big update soon. 😁
@@802Garage looking forward to it!
epoxy floor + clean paint + good led lighting this is gonna be sick
Even without the lights it looks amazing. Can't wait to see it with the lights!
Man I hope this video blows up! Your attention to detail and video quality is top notch
man once those walls and beams get painted this place is going to look so legit
This really felt like an old school gingium video - I can’t wait to see how this garage turns out
It's Midnight, I'm sitting on the bus going home from quite stressful day at work, now it's time go relax and Caleb has just the toolset
How many of y’all been here since the Molly build? Gingium has come so so so far
Looking more and more like a professional shop my guy. Congrats
That's the goal!
Wooo! 😁😁
Fun to see it coming together! Christmas present for yourself 👌
Haha exactly. I don't want to take time off for the holidays to see my fam, I just wanna work on my shop more lol.
This is what I like about you, you do it right, no matter how hard
Ive been watching gingium for years and i hope he gets the recognition he deserves. He's hardworking and deserves everything! I hope you get all you dream for gingium! I'll be here watching your vids til the day u stop
I've always wondered how the flakes get in as a child ! Nice work
Dude! This is so exciting to see you get a place. Keep the transformation video's comming.
I think painting those brick stairs a satin black would look awesome. Also, if it's in the budget, gray outlets and switched would look so much better than the old dirty tan ones
Damn, looks great! Did my tiny 1 car garage (more like 1/2 car lol) and one mistake I did is to roll it on, should have poured it on the floor like you did, you got a much thicker application that way.
Yep! It's a pretty thick finish
Love it, makes me want to do this to my shop. I added led lights in it. World of difference. Can’t wait to see your shop come together
Drinking my morning coffee at work….. not working and watching this! It’s a goooood Monday
You can clearly tell Gingium's motivation is back and it's so awesome to see
It really looks insane! Lets get on to the next part🙌🙌
Thank you!
Hey, Gingium. Regarding lighting, I've heard that pro shops install lighting at waist level(or atleast lower on the wall). This helps to light up the whole body so it's easier to work on the car, and would probably be great for video quality too!
Something to look into.
Good thing about doing it yourself is that you can taylor it to how you want it. Also you’ve decided to take the hard route and so much experience has been learnt
Shops lookin 1000% better already, can’t wait to see more !
I love seeing the progression of the shop. It has been a minute since i've keyed into the chanel. But now you're on repeat in my search bar to see if you've uploaded any updates on the shop. Love to see it, i'd rep a gingium sticker on my toolbox btw!
This looks so cool, can't wait to see it with the walls painted and the led lights. Keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻
Title was 100% right. This was EXTREMELY satisfying!
Am i the only one who thinks that gingum should get an artist to paint a mural on a wall.
I'm so happy to see you making this huge leap man!! You're a true inspiration to a lot of us aspiring mechanics and fabricators, let alone the video production!!
Your work ethic is insane, and will bring you right up to the top! cant wait to see you in direct competition with the supercar community, seeing as your builds are much more interesting. You inspired me to do a delica party wagon build
I used the stuff for my 3-car garage at home. it's been about 11 years and has held up great with a few exceptions. 1. the area near my garage doors that see a lot of sun during the day has faded to a light shade of grey. 2. Brake fluid is murder on the floor. if brake fluid sits on the floor for more than 15 minutes it will discolor the floor to a lighter shade of gray. 3. even with the flakes it is very slick when it gets wet or oily, so a cleanup and mop after a project is a must. 4. after reading all the direction it said to let the epoxy harder for several day before you could drive on it, so i was not expecting that and had to make other arrangements to park my classic cars some place safe. - on a side note, when i first did my garage, they only offered this kit in grey and light tan. now they have a lot of cool colors and some with metallic swirls in it. and like you i also noticed that after I did the floor, how much worse the walls looked and had to paint as well. I have been looking to add LED lighting to my garage as well. it's going to be cool to see what your setup is like.
my back hurts just from watching. But I really admire the dedication, patience and overall content. Really inspires!
looks aweseom! id reccomend doing a clear layer over top for added protection
Looking amazing, wall paint and lighting is really going to pay off in the future.
Can’t wait until the shop is running and you make crazy builds again!!!
damn, last video was extremely satisfying and now we have ultra satisfying - this video is gonna bop
Floor looks amazing. But I don’t understand why you wouldn’t paint the walls first? Now you have to protect the floor from getting paint on it..
He will probably put a ton of cardboard down.
@@fredmortensen5107 I would hope so after all that hard work. But it could’ve been avoided if he just painted the walls first. The floor should’ve been the absolute last thing to be painted.
EPOXIUM in the GARAGIUM!
$3.17!! Omg that's bad... it's only $2.55 in Arkansas where I live. Love the shop update and I'm jealous af which so happy to see it. I still remember the hot gluing wires and gaming days. Garagium is a awesome name too!!! 🥰🥰
pro tip, in any renovation you do the ceiling, then the walls, then the floor last, because of drips
I am getting so hyped for this new shop! Can’t wait to see where you go on your builds with this space!
I think it would also look pretty cool to paint those brick steps in there over with the epoxy. My buddy had his garage done and they did his wood step into his house and it’s held up.
I never watched so much shop cleaning in my life😂😂 Keep it up!👍
This boy ain’t scared of hard work 💪
You did an awesome job!!! I am so glad you didn’t cheap out and paint over the old crap. Grinding away all the old epoxy was a great choice! You two did a really good job applying the epoxy on the floor too! Great work!
Wow! the difference is incredible. Took a while, but you and Audrey took the time to do it right. Well done!
Honestly with the floor done. The lighting looks good especially when the walls are done. But can’t wait to see it with the walls floor and lighting done!!!
Gingium's Garage. It's simple but classy, and it just works.
Holy crap it looks better, Im glad I can now say: NICE SHOP :D
What a fantastic transformation! You deserve to be VERY pleased with yourselves. Can't wait to see you working in the new Gingium Garagium, it's gonna be Epic!
Keep up the great work!
I feel that struggle. Started at a home garage, outgrew and eventually have a 5k sqft shop. Mechanic shop for 30 years and was told I would have to grind 1/2 into the concrete and topcoat before epoxy. I didn’t have the money so hand scrubbed it with purple degreaser 6 times and pressured washed it 10 times, I painted it. Good for you for doing a RUclips and sponsees etc. I did it all out of pocket and by myself.
Would be great if the landlord would chip in to the workshop resto, maybe a rent relief for a month
Such a huge improvement in visuals. some paint on the walls and lights it'll be so great.
Good work Celeb.
Floor lookin A1, doing all the work the landlord has wanted in the last two decades in two months lmao. excited to see where its gonna go those flakes add so much to just blank epoxy. Keep up the good work man this is awesome to see coming from the old forza 5 days. real progress type shit, inspiring
I’m happy for you, Caleb. The place is coming together nicely. I’ve enjoyed your videos so much over the years. Fun times.
You'll get to the big times man.
I've seen this time and time again.
Congrats.
Floors look amazing!! You should consider doing a 2 tone wall. From the floor to 8ft should be a darker color, and then white from 8ft to the ceiling with a fully white ceiling. It would look super clean, and hide some of inevitable dirt in the future.
Maybe a buffing and some kind of clear coat and that floor is forever! Nice work, can’t wait for the next one!
pro tip. paint your walls grey 4' up. put yourself a colored stripe, then white the rest of the way up. keeps the shop looking clean and well lit for years to come. the colored stripe should be the main color used in your advertising.
This place is starting to look great. Very satisfying transformation so far
Night and day difference. Can't wait to see it after paint and lighting. Making me wanna spruce up my shop!
That's not a bad price for the floor. With the amount of time with the grinding and the other equipment I was expecting more. Looking forward to hearing tyre squeeks on it... Nicely done too, got the mrs doing a fine job, loving the hat.
I'm sure that will be looking fantastic for years to come! I believe Robbie Ferreira did the exact same epoxy and his is still looking great
The potential is unreal. So hype for the next level of gingium
This channel is about to EXPLODE! 1M? 👀
Looks great. Would have done ceiling, installed lighting, then walls, then floor.
My dad and i used this epoxy in our home garage. We installed it about 12 years ago and its still holding together well. It is very durable and only chips when you drop something heavy and metal.
Whenever gingium works on the drift truck and spills oil and coolant all over this floor exactly 4 months from now, I'm gonna be thinking about this exact video.
COME ONNNN GINGIUM THIS VIDEO IS ALREADY AT THE SAME AMOUNT OF VIEW AS MOST OF YOUR OTHER VIDEOS AND ITS ONLY BEEN 8 HOURS!! So happy to see your hard work has been paying off :)
Your patience for waiting is on a whole other level. I'm happy you got a shop. #letsgetgingto600k
You paid almost a quarter of what you would have paid. You did a great job. The only difference is the concrete would have been repaired completely. Prep is the most important thing and you went hard. Great job.
Wow, Gingium just WOW. This is the type of things that differentiate you from other tubers. You keep learning and making awesome things. Very exited on how this will look when finished!
8:15 the 1st line of the instructions should say "paint the walls before you epoxy the floor"🤣
I can feel the happiness and satisfaction come through my Tv, amazing work to both of you and whom ever helped!!!!!
I spent a week on my houses 2 car garage floor when I first moved in. Rented a concrete grinder. Swept, blew out, washed, and dried multiple times prior to laying down “Roll on Rock” 2 part epoxy with polyeuria topcoat. Fumes were pretty strong for like a week. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. 5 years later I have no chips, bubbles, peeling discoloration. I account that to all the prep work and quality product. The best time to do it is before you’ve moved.
The clock starts ticking as soon as you mix part A and B. Definitely want 2 people minimum to help edge, spread, and flake. Multiple days of prep work for a smooth and quick application. Your floor looks nice. I spent about $1000 doing my floor myself.
i could tell this was an absolute NIGHTMARE to do. big props to sticking it out. lol
So glad you finally got a shop! Been watching your videos since before molly and I've always liked your content! Keep it up you got it bro! From New Brunswick Canada! ✌
You should build a small room, or a couple small rooms, one for grinding/cutting(cuts down on dust) and one for building engines(a "clean" room) assuming you have the space.
watching your diys whilst wrenching on my project car just makes me much more motivated and relaxed while even doing the most challenging tasks as i also try to do as much on my own as i can. Can't wait to see the end result of this restoration.
He deserves so many more subscribers. Top quality content, videowork, music, commentary, jokes, builds, and detail to how and what he does. That vibe has always been like this from the beginning and it just keeps getting better :)
Never thought a floor could look so good... Great work!
What a nice job G. Really shaping up! Thumbs up 👍🏽 to Audrey for all of her hard work as well.
