I don’t know how far back you’ve been watching, but if you remember when the reds didn’t match, THAT garage was something else 😂 great memories between Robbie and Emerson in that garage
Yo Robbie I really hope you read this 😂. But I wanted to say thanks because of you I decided to start my own RUclips channel and was able to make a decent amount of money from it to put towards my G35 savings account. If i had never watched your channel I might not even have a channel in the first place. I have watched you since I started 6th grade and now I am in High-school,I knew I was not an official OG, but I remember all of the Cactus plants you owned, all three of em 😂. I also rewatched all of your videos to make sure I knew everything about Chris and the BRZ and the S10! Just wanted to say thanks Robbie!
I've been on RUclips for many many years and follow a lot of car related channels , and over the years seen many become to big and egos get to big. But you have stayed grounded and this is definitely my favourite channel!
Looks amazing, i know hes so happy because he did it rather than have someone else do it, great job Robbie. You inspire me to do more and go the extra step.
I was actually looking to do this for my new garage! didn't really see any videos on it that wasn't boring to watch, this is great, thanks robbie. just bought my epoxy kit!
I would NOT do it like this.. Almost 100% guaranteed that it will peel in a few months.. You have to profile the concrete with a diamond grinder and you want to use a real 2 part epoxy..
Yep I completely agree. I own and operate a successful concrete coating company and if I had a dollar for every garage we’ve had to ‘do because someone did it like these two clowns I’d be able to retire
You literally gave me goosebumps. The floors look soooooo good. I've been wanting to do my garage for the LONGEST time and I mean years. You just made me want to do it! You're so inspiring to me.
Seeing the garage at the end legit made me happy which is weird cause it’s not even a car but really excited for the videos taking place here now! PS get the genesis badges
I'm pretty worried about the way that etch solution was reacting to the lift studs. Acids tend to wreak havoc on metals and make them extremely brittle if they react, and that certainly looked like a reaction to me. You might want to sink new studs for the lift posts just to be on the safe side, kind of a big safety concern.
Thought about that too, I wasn't really paying attention to the reaction all that much, but I was curious as to how the liquids poured down would effect the studs (if at all).
@@Neur0bit Water doesn't neutralize anything- it's pH neutral. If they were to neutralize it, they would've had to use a basic solution. Regardless, just affecting the surface of the metal is still a big problem when we're talking about threads. The outer surface is the most critical part regarding holding force when a nut is run down on them over the post foot.
This video makes me so happy to watch. Final product looks absolutely unreal man, this officially marks the day that my own garage like this is a real goal man.
Finally!!!!!! Been too long since a video. Even random pointless ones just give us more content!!! Even a cruise or a camp setup!!! Your personality and filmography is different than others. We just like to watch. Positivity is good too!!
That's so awesome and I love to see how happy you are with it taking pride in your hard work is awesome. Now a bigger toolbox right lol. I would love that in my backyard.
Even thought that might have not been the biggest, toughest project you've done for the amount of time spent on prep and completion I know it was extremely satisfying to see it come out look as amazing as it does. Man you always motivate to start my channel when you take on completely new projects cause I realize even more I can do anything I want. Thanks robbie stay committed!
This gives me so much motivation to keep working hard at being a RUclips diy mechanic like yourself. Hopefully I can get a garage to this point one day keep up the hard work bro !
@@workingmansrestorations7071 been posting a lot on TikTok plus just moved so setting the new garage and getting ready for winter so swim more engine building
@Isaiah Rios I am doing good at my day job and making alot of money... so I am saving money and buying cars, parts and tools... Hopefully next year I get a 40x60 built and take winters off
It might be cool to repaint the arms of the lift white or black to match the flake even more. The yellow looks fine but who knows, them matching the flake might be a simple little design that makes it look that much better
Let's go Robbie!!!!!. You deserve everything you got and much more. Keep puttin in the work, I can already see ur gonna do big things😊🤟🤟🤟LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!!

Should clear coat over the « school trim » to make sure it’s actually water tight with the floor, I’m sure water can seep under there

It's not an issue as they neutralized it with water afterward. The bubbling is normal and just on the surface of the metal.

@@bnn9912 Agreed. It doesn't neutralize it but it dilutes it to the point where it's not an issue. Thanks for the response.
