It’s so nice to hear these songs sung by the artists from that era, no special auto tuners just beautiful rich, expressive voices singing simply written lyrics that tell a story with so much emotion.
The back up singers are the Jordanaires, who sang back up for Elvis, Brenda Lee and several others in that era. Often on Patsy's late career recordings also you have the amazing piano playing of Floyd Cramer. She had first rate studio musicians. Her biggest hit is Crazy, written by a very young and unknown Willie Nelson at the time.
Thank you for this. I didn't know about the Jordanaires, I did know Willie Nelson wrote the song. Willie he has written songs for Elvis and Dolly and many, many, many people. We did an Elvis reaction my first. and we found out that Eddie Rabbit had written the song. And Ronnie Milsap played Piano. I live in North Carolina, I'm here right in the heart of it all. So I'm thankful. I try to do every kind of music there is on this channel. These country reactions are just now starting to get any kind of traction. But this is what I grew up on. I grew up on Hank Williams Junior. George Jones. Waylon Jennings. The Judds. Reba. Alabama. Conway. Loretta Lynn Dolly Parton in many, many more. And honestly, I would have done these no matter what, even if they would have never gotten traction. because I have relieved a lot of this music through my partner here. And I've enjoyed it. I met a lot of good people, and you are another one on the list of good people I've met. We have a playlist on the channel of things called forgotten country. Now that we're getting traction in the country music reactions, I'm going to rename the playlist. And yes, I thought I would drive him a little crazy, before I put out crazy. Lol.

There is something very appealing about the musical honesty and simplicity of that era. ❤

Patsy has one of the most angelic voices in music history
Soon after my divorce, I almost drove off the road when I saw my ex driving the other way.
